CHAPTER 9
Cedric showed up on time, nervious as the first day he met Cho's parents. "He knocked on the door."
Lily: *answered the door* Ah, u must be Diggory. My, my, u look so much more handsome in person rather than in the papers. Come in, come in
"Thank you, Mrs. Potter." He stepped in and gave her a small buqet of purple lilies. "Thank you for having me over."
Lily: Oh, u shouldn't have *took the lilies n passed it to an elf who put it in a vase* Come, come in, pls. Have a seat. *leads him to the living room* Dinner will be ready in an hour
"I hope you have gone to no trouble over me, Mrs. Potter." he smiled graceiously. "There is Harry?" He asked.
Lily: He'll be dwn in a minute. Why dont u have a chat with my husband? I'm sure u two will get along just fine
James had just come in at that moment. "Sit Diggory." James sat down in chair and Cedric on the couch.
"Thank you for having me."
Harry: *was in his room checking himself in the mirror, making sure he was at least dressed up for the occasion before making his way dwnstairs*
"So you think you can get us tickets to the seasons game?" James asked.
"Uh certainly. Since you will be my Father in law you would be consitred family."
"Did you here that Lily! Season tickets."
Lily: *chuckles n rolled her eyes* Pls dont encourage him, Diggory. I swear Quidditch is his first wife
James got up walking over to him. "Your the only one I love." he pulled her close.
Harry: *came dwn n approached the living room* C...Cedric! Ur here! I...I hope I'm not too overdressed...
"No you look great." Cedric stood and took a box out a small box and unshrunk it. Inside was 12 long steam white roses.
Harry: *blushes as he accepts the roses* Oh, they're...nice...
Lily: *cooed at them* Aww, isnt tht a sweet sight, James?
"Reminds me of when I went to visit you are your parents. Althought I had too deal with them being muggles and jumping at any little magic."
Cedric smiled. "White roses are for inocents. I thought...seeing as...well I thought they were nice." Cedric blushed.
"Lets give them some space." James said. "I need to teach your that you are my only wife." He grinned and whispered into her ear.
Lily: Well technically, Petunia did most of the jumping, n she hated u ever since u turned her hair to look like she was Medusa incarnate *shivered at his whisper* Mmh, not now, love. I need to fix dinner with the elves
"Nope." James pulled her away from the other two into another room.
Harry: *raised a brow* Trust me, Ced. I'm not as innocent as u think. So...is ur family alright with this? I might have to go visit them in return, don't I?
"They are fine with it. Father knows my duty. Mother would have prefered that I marry a woman but she fine with it now. Now that your parents are gone can I kiss you?"
Harry: *pouts* For a rule-follower u sure are quite sneaky *looks away, pretends to reject him*
"I only want to do it with you want. I will not force you. Cedric put some space between them."
Harry: I didn't say I don't want it, just dont sneak attack me like tht *sticks out his tongue naughtily* Now gimme some sugar
Cedric chuckled and leaned in, taking him in his arms and kissing.
Harry: *kisses him bk, somehow finding himself actually enjoying it*
Cedric deeped the kiss a slight before breaking it, bearly moving his lips away. "I hope that was not too much."
Harry: *a little breathless as he broke the kiss* S'ok. It was...pretty nice *hears the knocking on the door* Now who could tht be? *went n answered it*
Cedric wanted to lean back for another kiss but he let Harry go answer the door.
Severus was standing there. "Hello, Harry."
Harry: Severus! Wht a pleasant surprise! Wht r u doing here? *lets him in anyway*
"Your mother invited me over for dinner."
Harry: Oh? She nvr told me *turns his head to one side* Mom! Severus is here!
Lily: *came out as she hurriedly collected herself* Ah, Sevvy! Ur here!
James came out looking very happy. "Hello, Snape." He said.
"Hello." Severus said as there was another knock on the door.
Lily: Ah, the final piece of the puzzle is here *answers the door* Hello, Siri~! Glad u could make it
Sirius: I almost couldn't. I... *looks at Sev* Wht is Snivellus doing here?
"Lily." Severus put two and two together. "You lied. Always said you would be in Slytherin."
Lily: *grinned mischievously* Sorry. But this is the only way I could get all of you together to be able to get to knw each other without having to slice each other's throats. Besides, it was partially James' idea
Sirius: *glares at James* Jamie, is this some kind of joke? Tht's it, I'm leaving *turns ard*
Harry: *watches awkwardly at the scene unfold before him*
James went over and blocked his away. "Can't. Doors, windows and the floo is charmed to not let you through until 8. So you are stuck here."
Sirius: *growled n crossed his arms, grumbling*
Lily: *an elf came to tell tht dinner was ready* Ah, right on time. Come, everyone. Dinner is served
Severus glared at James, Sirius and Lily. He turned and heaed to the dinningroom.
Sirius: *glared bk at Sev equally before following behind the Potter couples*
"Uh why do I feel like I should not be here?" Cedric asked Harry
Harry: I'm getting tht feeling too. My parents r up to their little tricks again
"I would say I could go but I can't." He took Harrys hand and pulled him back for a kiss.
Harry: *was surprised as he was pulled bk for the kiss. He eased in for a while before pulling bk, hitting lightly at Ced's shoulder* Ced! Wht r u doing? I told u not to sneak attack me! Wht if my parents see?
"Sorry." he blushed, looking down. "I know I shouldn't have." He licked his lips before moving to follow the rest to them.
*the six of them soon settled dwn at the table as the dinner was brought in*
Lily: I hope u guys like it. It's been a while since I actually whip up a big scale dinner like this
Sirius: Aw, Lil, u knw ur the best cook among us
"I looks wonderful, Mrs. Potter. Thank you." Cedric said. While Severus quitely nodded and James like always dug right in before anyone.
Harry: *was also like his father, digging right in*
Lily: *rolls his eyes* Like father, like son
"Sirius did you hear? My son is going to marry a Quidditch play that will get me free tickets."
Sirius: Yeah, I knw. Lucky guy. *eyes at Cedric* He's a keeper alright, Har. Good looks, a bit of the riches n all rounder. Unlike this guy in front of me *sneered at Sev*
"Yes, Harry. At least he fleas and rolls in the dirt." Severus said with a nutral face on.
Sirius: *scowled at him*
Lily: Now, now, let's be civilized here. I'm sure there's something abt u two tht u can agree on
Sirius: Yeah. Like we both definitely hate each other's guts
Harry: *scared of the possible outburst n instinctively reached under the table for Ced's hand*
Cedric took his hand giving it a squeeze.
"Your wrong, Black. I don't hate your guts. I hate your whole body."
"Come one you two. Lilly went through a lot of trouble for you to. the best you can do is try to talk with out ripping each other to streads"
Sirius: I seem to be doing a good job. HE looks like he's gonna blow up
Lily: Ur not being cooperative either, Siri. Stop egging him on. It's been years now n u two r still acting like ur bk in first yr
"Talk to Black here. I am willing to let it go, if he drops off the face of the earth."
Sirius: Is tht a challenge now? *leered at Sev* I would vry much enjoy settling the score u did me wen u jinxed my hair solution tht made me look like a fucking Christmas tree all week
Harry: *inches closer to Ced in fear*
"I'm sorry. You were not suppose to look lioke a christmas tree. Your hair was suppose to fall out. To bad, but the end results here very entertaining."
Lily: A...Alright, u two. Stop it now...
Sirius: No, we're getting a breakthrough here, Lil. At least I'm enjoying the part where I dangled u upside dwn n have u pantsed. Boy, polka-dotted boxers sure suit u
"Oh was that before or after I put your broom on top of the school?"
Sirius: Hah! Tht pales in comparison with the day u look totally sopping wet coming out of the library when a jug of water just "mysteriously" appeared out of nowhere
"What about the day you had the glass of punkin juice that made all the words you said sound backwards."
Harry: *looked bk n forth at them arguing n was reli close to Ced to the point of their shoulders touching*
Lily: N...Now hold up, u guys...
Sirius: Oh reli? How abt the time where u were totally Confounded tht u couldnt evn walk a straight line n ended up entering the ladies lavatory? The way u ran out like u just lost ur head being thrown with tissue paper n books was rather amusing
"Sirius, Snape. Stop this!" James yelled but it fell on deaf ears.
"What about when you were hitting on that girl and you stepped into that pool, of surpt?" He asked.
Sirius: Oh yeah? Tht look u had wen u bloody tried to get out of Whomping Willow wen Remy tried to make u his chew toy was still the most classic!
Severus had his wand out under the table and spelled his clothes off. "No, Black. That is classic." He got up. "wonderful dinner but I think I would like to spend the rest to the eveing in bathroom."
Sirius: The fuck?! *cursed n swore as he tried to dress himself bk up again*
Harry: *widened his eyes in shock at the sight of Siri in the nude*
Lily: Now u've done it, Siri! Honestly! *rolled her eyes n went aftr Sev* Sevvy! Sevvy, wait!
"I would think that Snape did it." James jumped up to help Sirius. "Harry close your eyes."
Cedric had already put his hand over Harry's eyes.
"No. I am done with him, Lily. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and his pride."
Lily: Sevvy, pls. J...Just give him another chance. He's not usually like this...
"You keep saying that and he keeps showing it ass. I give up I will not be in that same room as that sadist!" He yelled getting to the bathroom and slambing the door.
Lily: Sevvy! *knocks at the door* Sevvy~! Pls!
Harry: *whispered to Ced* Well...tht didnt go vry well, did it...?
Cedric shook his head still in amasment.
"No Lily. I am done talking. If you wish to waste more of your time trying to say that under that sadistic exterore is a heart of gold then you can but I will not listen to it anymore." Severus sat down on the edge of the tub.
Lily: Pls, Sevvy. he's not like this, reli! He's just got a little tough break, is all~ He probably just let his mouth run out on him as usual. He reli is... *sighs* Don't u trust me? Ur old friend?
There was a long silence. Almost to point when one would give up. But the door did open and Severus stood there looking haggered. "I do trust you, Lily. But it is him I don't trust. I...I don't want to go through that pain again."
Lily: Sevvy, if I can put my trust on Siri to look aftr Har with my life, I'm sure u'll trust my instincts tht he's not a bad apple *puts a hand* U said "again". Is...there something u didn't tell me, Sevvy?
"I can't say it here. All I need is for him to over hear and then tell the whole world. Lily I just want to go lay. I don't feel good."
Lily: Alright, lemme take u to the guestroom then *brings him to the guestroom n let him lay on the bed*
"Thank you." He hugged her. "Your the best, Lily." He went inside and closed the door.
"You shouldn't have pushed him like that, Siri. You know he is still sore about that time." James sighed.
Sirius: I was trying to be civilized, Jamie. He just wont let up. If he had kept his trap shut or at least said something nice for a change, I wouldnt be so hard on him. Besides, it was not reli tht big of a deal. Remy would nvr hurt ppl intentionally, plus, I was out there in guard. He's fretting ovr nothing
"You know that is not the point. You intentionaly scared him when we where kids and still to this day if you are in a room with him for five seconds something it bound to happen."
Sirius: *scoffed* Not my fault if he's such a snivelling bugger who couldnt get a hold of himself *folded his arms across his chest*
James had given up on Sirius and went back to eating. Where as Cedric was still holdiong Harry's hand and trying to eat.
Harry: *had finally realized tht he had been holding Ced's hand all the time n let go* S...Sorry...
Lily: Anything for my best friend, Sevvy *waited until he closed the door before walking to the table, looking rather upset* U just couldnt keep ur trap shut, could u, Siri?
Sirius: Oh pls, Lil. Not u too. Can it. He is a lost cause. I am not bloody marrying him n evn if the Ministry forced us to. I'm not staying in the same room with him
Cedric blushed and nodded.
"Well I do have to say that Siri did not deserve to be spelled nude. And in front of kids"
Lily: Tht's the least Sevvy could do for wht u put him through. Honestly, Siri! Why do u always have to ruin a good thing coming?
Sirius: U call THAT ol bat "a good thing coming"? Remy was the good thing coming, not tht walking hideous monstrosity
James sighed and massused his temples. "You do are children. If I could I would put both of you into time out. Now Sirius sit down and eat. Lily take Snape's plate to him and if I hear one more word about Snape from you, Sirius. I will hex your mouth shut for a week!"
Sirius: *glared at James for a while n rolled his eyes before eating, not reli into it*
Lily: *takes the plate of food for Severus n knocked on the door* Sevvy? Can I come in?
Harry: *shrank bk a little. His father can be vry fierce if he wanted to, n it scares him sometimes*
Cedric patted Harry's knee to calm him down. He had long since loss his appitite but he still ate.
Severus called her in. He was on the bed, laying on his back.
Lily: *came in with the food* I thought u might still be hungry *places the food on the bedside table* U alright now, Sevvy?
Severus shrugged. "Yes. A bit. Now that I don't have to listen to him." he sighed. "I found out why Cassi has be so distant."
Lily: Oh? *sits beside him* Why is it?
"She is seeing an astronomer from Russia. Star said that she wants to move Russia by the end ofthe year. There is a school that is just starting out there."
Lily: Oh my...I...I dunno wht to say. How is Star taking this? Doesn't she get to choose who to go with?
"Star wants to stay here. She knows more people here and the man has two daughters already. A 13 y/o and a 16y/o. She dosen't want to feel like the odd man out. But nothing is really set in stone yet."
Lily: Well, let's just hope tht Cassi isnt going hog her all. Ur still the father aftr all *sighs* I reli made a big mistake trying to patch u n Siri together, did I?
"You just want to see us both happy. But I am afraid that that will not happen." He tried smiling at her. "But thanks for trying."
Lily: *a long pause before she probed* U...said u dont want to feel pain again. Wht...exactly do u mean by tht? Dont worry, I had the Silencing Charm on
Severus sighed. "You know I hated my father. He was mean and abusive...but..I never thought he would do it to me." Severus sat up. "After second year I came home to find my mum in the hospital again. I had just turned 13 and I thought I could take on my father. But even in his drunken state he was stronger than me. My wand got kicked out of my hand and he...he raped me." Severus breath started coming in hearsh shallow pants. "In the morning he said that I had liked it. I went to a freakish school and that I proably took it up the ass for everyone."
Lily: *covers her mouth in shock, unable to believe wht she had just heard* Oh Merlin...! Why...Why didnt u tell anyone abt this? Why didnt u tell me?
"I couldn't. It was too embarrassing. I am a wizard and I could not even protect myself against a muggle." Severus said. "Thankfully it didn't happen again for quite sometime." He paused. "Remember when I went home in seventh year? Right before christmas for my mother's funneral?"
Lily: Umm...yeah...? *her heart clenched* Oh, d...dont tell me...?
Severus nodded. "He said I needed to earn my keep and since his wife was not there anymore he would use me." Severus shook his head. "That's why I came to your house later on. I can't never thank your parents enought for letting me stay there. You see my father raped my mother to keep her in line. She had such a low selfesteem that when he told her he loved her she would forgive him and let him do it all to her again. But she never thought that after her death that he would do it to his son." Severus was starting to choke up. "You see, if I let Black be my husband he will rape me, because it will be a way to control me. I can't let that happen. I will kill myself first."
Lily: Oh, oh, Sevvy *hugs him close* I'm...I'm so sorry...I didn't knw...U...U must believe me, Siri is not like tht. He would nvr do something ur father had done. If only u knw wht he's been through as well...
"Please don't try to make him into a victim to." Severus took a deep breath. "Never speak of this to anyone. No one must know. Least of all Black and Star. It would crush Star."
Lily: I swear on my life tht I would nvr tell. As for Siri, I swore to him as well tht I wont tell his story to others. I'll let him fill u in on tht, bt trust me. His bark is worse than his bite. Have I ever let u dwn?
"Well there was that once in charms class when James was flirting with you and you were useing the levitation charm on me, but that bump only lasted a week." He smiled.
Lily: *chuckles n punched him playfully on the shoulder* Tht's not fair! U knw it was an accident!
"Sure it was." He winked.
Lily: *giggled* Oh you! Remember the time when James was courting me, he thought we were going out?
"Yes. You are my best friend but only that. Not offence." He said smiling. "I have seen you at your worse and it was not pretty."
Lily: None taken. I must admit, picking up a chair n throwing at Wormtail for almost burning off my scalp at Potions was not vry ladylike of me *scratches her chin awkwardly*
"No. I think it was threating to burn off his balls that was the unladylike thing."
Lily: *laughs at tht memory* Ah, those were the days. Till this day, no one can understand why of all ppl I'm best friends with u
"You see something that no one else seeing. You see the real me, not the cold man that I have prefected. I can let me gaurd down around you, Lily." He said. "I love you, as a friend only."
Lily: I love u too, Sevvy, though ur more of a little brother I nvr had *hugs him n gave him a gentle noogie*
Severus chuckled, a deep rich tone that no one had ever heard before. "Now I know why my hair is so greasy."
Lily: *chuckles* U sound nice when u laugh. U should laugh more, Sevvy. Make urself more approachable, now tht ur no longer part of the Dark Lord's pawn
"I am still a teacher. The kids would think I had lost my mind if I was nice."
Lily: *laughs as she has a mental image of the kids looking at a nice Sev incredulously* Yeah, I suppose. Bt it wouldn't hurt easing up a little bit, just bit by bit. I'm not asking u to turn into an immediate saint
Severus smiled. "I will try. But that is all I can promise."
Lily: *smiled bk* Understood
*meanwhile, they've finished their dinner n while the adults lounge at the living room, Harry took Ced to show him his room*
"That was an interesting dinner." Cedric said. "Harry. I am still truely sorry about kissing you earlier. I thought you might like it. I promise I will not kiss you unless you ask for it."
Harry: It's alright, Ced. I dont mind u kissing me. Just...don't kiss out of the blue. I'm...still trying to get used to the fact tht we r going to be married. I thought we promised this would be a platonic marriage
"I know. I am sorry."
Harry: *looks up at him bashfully* U suddenly kissing me like this...Are u trying to tell me u...have feelings for me?
"I don't know." He shrugged. "I know I just don't want to be apart from you and when I see you I just want to kiss you."
Harry: *looks away* D...Didnt think I could give such effect to anyone
"I didn't know I could fall so hard for someone."
Harry: U saying ur falling for me?
"I am saying I do know." he sighed and sat on Harry's bed. "This is all new to me. I am straight!"
Harry: And yet ur falling for me. Tht reli is a predicament *sat next to him*
"I know I am straight. It just has to be something else." he pot his head in his hands.
Harry: *patted his back* Maybe...Maybe ur...bi n u just dont knw it?
"No, harry. I am striahgt." he jumped up. "I like girls. I like breasts. I don't like men!"
Harry: *frowns n looks away* Well, say it, don't spray it. Why not shout it out to my parents while ur at it *a little hurt somehow to hear him say it out loud evn though he knew Ced's orientation*
Cedric ran a hand through his hair. "Harry." he had that urge again to kiss him. He knelt down. "I don't know what to say. I know. I am straight but I like to kiss you. I don't know if that makes me bi or not."
Harry: *sighs* Maybe I should just use the taboo transmutation spell to make me into a woman. Would tht make u feel better?
"No. It wouldn't. You are a man and I have to accept that." he cupped his cheek. "And I can. I did not mean to hurt your feelings."
Harry: It's... *looks dwn, blushing* It's OK...I'm just...getting a little ahead of myself...
"You are more experinced here. I need you to teach me how men....you know..."
Harry: *chuckles* It's no different than straight ppl date, its just tht ur spouse is a man, is all. N wen it comes to...well, bedding, there is only one way to get round tht, which is...well, thru the "bk door"
Cedric grimiced. "Does that hurt?"
Harry: Not if u lube it up properly. Unlike girls, we dont have natural bodily lube, so we kinda depend a lot on those. I had to prepare Ron plenty when we...do the deed

"Sorry, but you are." He leaned in for another kiss but ended up moving to peck his cheek.
Harry: *felt the peck on the cheek n turned until their lips were touching*
Cedric kissing him back, deepening the kiss.
Harry: *gripped his shirt n kissed him just as deep, guiding him to a slow tongue dance*
Cedric moaned somewhere in the kiss, pushing Harry on the bed and bring himself on top. this he was use to.
Harry: *was deep into the kiss, not realizing tht they were on the bed n tht things could get dangerous frm here*
There was a knock on the door. "Harry, Cedric the locks are down." James said from the other side.
Cedric jumped off him in a flash stagering to one of the walls, panting for breath.
Harry: *sat up quickly, breathless as well as he bit his swollen lips frm the kiss* OK, dad. W...We'll be right there *straightened himself up* Well tht was...close
"Yes." Cedric was blushing. "But none the less enjoyable." He smiled.
Harry: *grins* Yeah. W...We should save it for our wedding night
Cedric went back over to him. "Sex, yes. This no." He leaned back in for a quick peck. "Better get down stairs before your Father thinks anything back."
Harry: *chuckles* Yup. He's more of a worried wart than Mom, tht's for sure *leads Ced dwnstairs*
Severus was thanking Lily for the meal as he was leaving.
James pulled Ced into a hug. "Nice to meet you, my boy."
Sirius: *pats Harry's head n whispered* Hold onto the guy, Har. He's a keeper. *turns to Lily n James* Well, cya ard, Lil, Jamie *gave a disconcerted look at Sev before walking past him, leaving*
Lily: *waved goodbye n rolled her eyes at Siri's still hostile reaction to Sev* Bye, Sevvy. Ur always welcomed here. N it was reli nice meeting u, Diggory. Sorry bout the inconvenience
Severus nodded. "Thank you." Severus then left.
"No the dinner was wonderful and the entertainment was not bad." He tried to make a joke of it.
Lily: *laughs it away* Oh u are such a kidder, Diggory. Well, hope to see u ard again, young man
Cedric nodded. he turned to Harry and bowed before taking his hand and kissing it. "I hope to see you at the game next week." He smiled before leaving.
Harry: I...I'll be there *smiles n watches him leave*
Lily: Such a nice young man, Har. I suppose this marriage isnt such a bad idea. For one of u, tht is
"Yes, but I am out of Siri and Snape's lives. And you don't meadle anymore either Lily."
Lily: Alright, alright. I give. I'll let them settle their differences
"Good." James left the room to catch the rest of the game on the wireless.
*a week later...*
Remus came back after a week of having thought everything through and he knew what he had to do.
Sirius: *during tht week, he had been a nervous wreck, wondering where his beloved wolf was n only by keeping himself busy with work tht it kept him sane*
Remus came to the door and knocked on it.
Sirius: *gets up n quickly answered it, absolutely relieved to see Remus there* Remy! Oh baby! *hugs him* I missed u so much. Where have u been? I was so worried
"Sirius, please." He pushed him back. "I have made my desion."
Sirius: D...Decision? *his heart started to sink* W...Wht decision...?
"I can't be with you. Even thought I love you. I can't be your person on the side. I can't be your mistress."
Sirius: W...Wht...? No, pls, Remy, dont do this to me. I'm the victim in all this! I need u...
"I love you, Siri but I can't." He pulled away. "It is not just the marraige. It is the hours. I don't want to be alone."
Sirius: Pls...Pls, no, Remy. So many have abandoned me. Not u too. I'll...I'll quit the job. Is tht wht u want? I'll do it
"But that is not what you want. You have always wanted to be an auror. I can't take that away from you."
Sirius: But...But...W...Wht will I do without u...?
"You will adjust Siri."He cupped his cheek.
Sirius: No...No, I dont want to adjust...I want u... *cannot control his sobs n tears tht fell* Pls, Remy. I dont want u to abandon me, like all the others...Pls...
"Siri." Remus felt like crying too. "Talk to Severus like he is a person. I know you can find a nice companyon in him."
Sirius: He...I...I can't! N...Not aftr wht he had done to me...at the Express...n everything else tht he had done... *hugs Remus* I dont want us to be ovr...I dont want...
"He didn't do anything. Lucius Malfoy tripped him. It was Malfoy's fault."
Sirius: W...Why...? Why do u have to abandon me...? Aftr all we've been through... *sobs in Remus' arms*
"I am not adandoning you, Siri. We are still friends and I will always love you but we can not defy the ministry. Please, Sirius. Don't make his harder on me than it is."
Sirius: *cries in his arms for a while before letting him go gently* I will always love you too...I cannot promise u I can, bt I'll try...to deal with Snivellus
Remus looked as if he would cry. "Please don't be sad or mad. Please, for me." Remus asked of him. "Good bye, Siri." he kissed his cheek and then turned from him. Going out a ways and apperating.
Sirius: *watched him leave, his hand reaching out as if he wanted to stop him bt didnt. Once he apparated, he let out an agonized cry n threw the first thing his hand could get on against the wall*
