severus thought he was going to pass out by the time the got the court house.

*once they entered, Sev's lawyer greeted them at the door while Cassi n her lawyers were already there in wait*

severus wanted to groan. Cassi always made him look bad. He sat down next to his lawyer, Star smiling and waving at him.

Sirius: *sees Star too n smiled bk at her*

cassi took Stars hand and put it down wishpering into her ear. Star frown.

Sirius: *sees tht n wondered wht was it tht Cassi said to her, feeling like frowning as well*

The judge came in a moment. "Hello." he nodded to everyone. "Now to get started is there anything to be said before I talk to miss star snape?"

Lawyer: The defense rest, Your Honour

"The same for the plantif."

"Allright. Miss Star Snape would you come up?" He asked and star got up and went over by him and sat on the stand.

Sirius: *took Sev's hand under the table n gave it a reassuring squeeze*

"Now, miss tell me how it is at each of your parent's houses."

star bit her lip and nodded. "At mums I get my own room and it is big, but sergeo's house is tiny. I still get my own room since her daughters are at school. But at Papas I get my own room and an playroom. I am even getting a swing set." She smiled

Sirius: *smiled as well, stealing a look at Cassi's face who looked a little dark*

Judge: So, Ms Star. Has either of ur parents been treating u nicely?

"Yes." She nodded. "They do not yell at me until I make a mess." Star grin machivous.

Judge: *chuckles goodnaturedly* Now dont take this question the wrong way, bt is there anyway tht u feel one of ur parents treat u much better or worse than the other?

Star had to think. "Papa is the easiest to get things out of, but that is with Daddy's help." They call could here Cassi's gasp of horror.

Sirius: *fought the urge to give her the "Hah! In ur face" look*

Judge: Daddy? U mean Mr. Sirius Black

"Oh yeah." she nodded. "But he is more like a Daddy. He helps me get around Papa."

Severus chuckled and shook his head looking at Sirius.

Sirius: *winked at Severus with a cheeky grin*

Judge: N wht do u call ur mother's intended then?

"Sergeo or when my mom makes me Dad."

Judge: So ur mother actually makes u do things, evn things against ur wishes or best interest?

"Just went calling Sergeo Dad and going to Russia."

Judge: Why do u not wish to go to Russia? Do u not want to be with ur mother n maybe start a new life with new friends?

"I love my mum but I hate Russia. Iit is so cold and they speak differently and I hate my step sisters.

Judge: Why? Hv they treated u badly?

"They laugh at me and they call my accent funny and laugh at the way I dress."

Judge: N ur mother does not do anything abt tht?

"She says I have to learn to deal with it. It will make me stronger."

Judge: N how does Mr. Black treat u? Does he treat u any less than ur other family does?

"He treats me good. He let me snuggle with him after a bad dream and he is warm."

Judge: And ur father? Does he behaves the same way ur mother does?

"Sometimes but he is more...more..." She thought. "More loving."

Judge: So wht is ur final thought? Do u prefer to stay here or go to Russia? Dont worry abt ur parents. Dont evn look or think abt their presence. Ask urself truthfully, child, where r u happier with?

"I...I want to stay here with my Daddy and Papa."

Judge: Does the lawyers hv anything to contest against the child's choice?

Lawyer: No questions, Your Honour

"Yes." Cassi's lawyers asked. "Star tell the judge what you told you mum about them."

"Oh Daddy and Papa have a lot of alone time."

Sirius: *felt like hitting the wall wen he heard her say tht*

Lawyer: Objection! This has nothing to do with her choice of being with her father!

"I has every to do with it. If Mr. Snape-Black and Mr. Black are too busy to watch over her then how will they be able to raise her right or to even keep her safe."

Judge: Overruled. Well, Ms. Star, is ur father n Mr. Black neglecting u while they hv their alone time?

"No. I am usually sleeping or playing in my play room. They don't let me go outside while they have alone time."

Judge: Well, does tht answer ur question, plaintiff?

"Yea your honor."

Judge: Well, I see tht both parents hv the financial n social status to look aftr the child, n I believe both parents hv the same amt of love to give to their child, bt I also believe tht both parents, evn though separated, must show equal attention to the child, n unfortunately being tht far apart will only make the attention bias, n with Ms. Sinistra's child along the way plus her extra two stepdaughters to look aftr, I'm afraid Mr. Snape-Black's background condition is much more suitable for the child's wellbeing. N of course, the Child's Rights dictate tht the ultimate choice is left to the child wen a couple is divorcing. Since the child has made the verdict, I shall, without further ado, grant custody of Ms. Star Snape towards Mr. Snape-Black n his husband Mr. Black

"What?! Your honor you can't mean that. Cassiopia Snape is the child's mother. You can't seperate her from her daugther. Her condition. The stress may make her lose this child."

Lawyer: Well, as u hv said, women's body r more suitable to hv children. I'm sure ur client will manage. Or are u withdrawing ur previous argument?

"Your honor we ask for a rejudgment."

Judge: I'm sorry. I cannot withdraw my current verdict. If u wish for a retrial, get in line. I hv viewed the cases n the facts n my decision is final. Case closed *raps the hammer*

Severus stood up, thanking his lawyer. Star come over. "Does this mean that I don't ever get to see my mum again?"

"Of course not, love. I would never do that to you and your mother." Sev said.

Sirius: U will get to see her any time u want, kiddo. We're not forcing or holding u bk. Why dont u go say goodbye to ur Mom n hv a few last words?

"Ok." Star nodded and went over to her mom.

Cassi: *frowned at upon seeing Star coming to her, n out of impulse, she stood up abruptly n slapped her across the face*

Star grabbed her cheek, looking at her mother you had never really hit her before. "Mum?" she whimpered, her eyes tearing up.

Severus saw it and went red. He pulled out his wand.

Sirius: *held him bk, not wanting Sev to cause a scene n make things worse*

Cassi: How dare u? Aftr all I've done for u. I gave birth to u, raised u, fed u n this is how u repay me? U hv made ur choice. U betrayed me. Frm now on, as long as u live under tht sick bastard's house, dont evr call me "Mum" *stomped away out of the courtroom*

Star stared to cry and came running back to Severus. Severus picked her up. He whispered low to Sirius. "I will kill that bitch if she ever lays a hand on my baby again."

Sirius: Get in line, baby. I would too if she or her new family does so. C'mon. It's ovr now. Let's go home

"Hey don't cry." Severus but her in the carrage and sat next to her. "We can go get the swing set you wanted."

But she shook her head.

"Umm we can get you some ice cream? I know how much you like it"

But again she shook her head.

Sirius: *sighed n smiled sadly before he opened his arms to give Star a hug* C'mere, kiddo. It's alright

Star wouldn't let go of her father. Severus sighed. "Sirius do you still have some time off?"

Sirius: Yeah. I dont get bk to my nxt mission until nxt week, I guess.

"Then how about a trip? Would you like that?" Star shrugged. At least it was not a no. "We can go to the ocean and sun bathe. Would you like that?" Star shrugged again.

Sirius: I'm sure we'll hv tons of fun, go swimming or diving n catch some fish. Whaddaya say, kiddo?

She shrugged again. "Then lets do it?"

Sirius: Tht's the spirit, kiddo *patted her head goodnaturedly*
