Severus was in the Library with his mother reading. He was sitting on the floor in men's clothes which was a no no.
Tobias: *rushes in with a letter* Family meeting... *sees Sev in the men's clothes* Severus! How many times have I told u, dressing up in boys' clothes is forbidden?! Do u want everyone to knw I have a son instead of a daughter??
"Most men would be happy to have a son." Severus said, smarting off.
Tobias: *smacked the young man behind the head* Dont get smart with me there, lass! I'm the man of the house n u knw better than to defy me. N u should knw better abt the rules in the house, Eileen!
"Yes?" She said coming in.
"Like I care." Severus mumbled, rubbing his head
Tobias: Get ur kid here bk in the usual clothes! N meet me at the sitting room. Family meeting
She nodded and took Severus to his room. "Do you have to make him mad?"
"I hate dressing this way. why can't I dress like father?"
"You just cant." She siad as she helped him dress in a dress. then they went back down.
Tobias: *read the letter with earnest, then saw them coming* Wht took u so long? *looked at the dress* Hm. Much better
"Sorry, Father." Severus frowned.
Tobias: *waited for everyone to sit dwn before showing them the letter* Get a load of this. The Ancient House of Black r having a ball, n everyone's invited, including us, the Snape family!
"So?" severus asked.
Tobias: So? This proves to be the best opportunity to be married off to a prestigious purebred wizard, tht's wht it is. Everyone in the wizarding world knws tht their son Sirius Black is currently the most eligible RICH bachelor of the Ancient House of Black
Severus should have known. "Father. I want to marry someone I want to and as a man. Not as a girl!"
Tobias: *scowled* Dont argue with me, lass! Its already unfortunate for me to have a son like u wen I wanted daughters so tht I can marry off n avoid paying dowry, to hv a smart ass for a child is definitely a bane in my life! If it werent for the fact tht men in the wizarding world can reproduce n tht gay marriages r acceptable here, I'd hv killed u myself! Ur lucky anyone would evn like u with tht unfortunate look on ur face. Ur already a failure as a boy, so no reason why I shouldnt try ur luck as a girl
Severus have yelled back but it stung about his looks. He was unfortuant to get his father beck nose only bigger, his mom's black lifeless gressy hair. only thin he liked was his black eyes that did come from eiter parent.
"Tobias, please don't be so hard on him." hIs mother spoke up.
Tobias: I'm only speaking the truth abt him, Eileen, evn if he hates to hear it. I've already sent out my acceptance to this invitation, n I will not hv u embarass me by saying ur not going. Is tht clear, lass?
"My gender is male, father. I will go and maybe find a way away from you!" Severus went running from the room.
Tobias: *scowled bt ignored Sev, knwing tht he would not dare to defy him*
