CHAPTER 28
Sirius: *getting dressed* Sev, you ready to go? We've got the doc's appointment remember?
"Oh yes." He got up and dressed. At least his Master was letting him wear normal clothes. "Can you touch me a lot? I want that stupid nusre to eat her words."
Sirius: *chuckled* I wouldn't have it any other way. Great minds think alike, it seems
Severus smiled. "Can you ask about the sex? I am nervious about that."
Sirius: Alright, I will. I'd hate to see u upset for not able to please me. It breaks my heart seeing you cry ovr it
"I don't know why I do that. I should be happy when you tell me I don't have to, it's just the way I was trained." He looked at him.
Sirius: *takes his face in his hands* Don't feel that way. You're wonderful as you are. Once you're free, u'll think better of urself. Trust me on that
Severus tried to smiled. "Yes, Master."
Sirius: *takes his hand* C'mon. We'll take the carriage. Don't wanna risk Floo-ing there
Severus nodded and put his hand on his belly. He walked out with Sirius.
*the carriage took them to St. Mungo's. They waited for their turn before they were called in to meet with the doctor who treated Sev before*
Severus bit his lip as he came into the doctor's office. The doctor was not there just yet but his nurse was.
Sirius: *could tell frm the look on Sev's face that this was the nurse Sev talked abt. He wrapped his arms ard him, whispering comforting words near his ear*
Nurse: *looks incredulously at them*
Severus placed a hand and his stomach.
Just then the doc came in. "Ah Severus good to see you again. And this must be your Master, Mister..." He didn't know what Sirius's name was.
Sirius: Black, doc. Sirius Black *held out his hand to shake*
The man shook his hand. "Nice to meet you. Not to get down to business. I need to ask a queations, it is just a formality. Do you want to abort this child?" The doctor asked.
Severus stiffened in Sirius's arms.
Sirius: *puts on a serious face as he tightened his grip on Severus* No, I will not. We both agreed to keep it. It's my flesh n blood we're talking abt here
Nurse: *tries to suppress her shocked look, not expecting this*
"Very well." he checked a few boxes on his paper work. "Now Severus if you will get up on the table we can do an examination. The baby as not grown much bigger since last time but we will still check."
Severus got up on the table and laid down.
"Been feeling an nasuea?" The doc asked and he felt around Severus' stomach.
"In the morning yes." Severus answered.
Sirius: *watched while holding Sev's hand n stroke his hair*
Nurse: *assisted the doc bt with a dark look on her face, upset that she was proven wrong*
"Since your baby is in perfect health."
"When will I know the sex of the baby?" Severus asked.
The doctor chuckled. "Not for the first five months. But then you can start to feel the baby move. We will also know if you are have twins by three months."
Sirius: O_O T-Twins? Is that possible?
"Yes. There was a man that had four inside him, but sadly he only ened up with two." He helped Severus up. "Twin is quiet common among male pregnacies. The bodies way of saying 'your getting all your kids in one felt swoop.'" He smiled. "Any other questions?"
Sirius: *held Sev's hand, comforting him* Well...what happened to the other two of that man's quads?
"He is find. Gave birth to his seventh child just last year." He chuckled. "My son is very poud of his bonded."
Sirius: Your son...? Ah *chuckled* Well, congratulations to you then. Um...I hope it's not too awkward, bt I was wondering if...I mean...Is it OK for us to have sex while my beloved is pregnant?
"Yes. I would keep it to a minimum for the firs three months, thats the months that Severus would most likely miscarry. And the last say 5 to six weeks. He will be getting uncomfotable and would not like the sex. But sex is very pleasureable for the pragnent indevidual. Oh and one thing that you should not do is come inside him, that get in where the baby is and cause some problems."
Sirius: I understand. I will try to control myself then *looks naughtily at Sev*
Nurse: *puts the tools away with a grudging look on her face*
"Other than that everything should be find. I know a lot of men find pregnance vey sensual." He chcukled and finshed up his paper work.
Severus blushed.
"I would like to see him in another two weeks just to moniter him. Later in the pregnancey we and hold off to every three weeks."
"So I hope to be seeing both of you in two weeks." He smiled and left the room.
Severus leaned over and kissed Sirius cheek. "Did that answer your queations, Master." He grinned.
Sirius: More or less, though I have to be careful not to do it too much or shoot inside you. *kisses him bk* Does that make YOU happy now u knw u can make me come anytime you wish?
"Yes. Master can we go home and do it? In the tub?"
Sirius: Hmm... *grins* Someone's being fiesty I see?

Severus was almost ready to pop when he looked outside. There where people running around. Some with trays of food others with flowers and what not. "Master, why are all those people at our home?" he then retracted it. "I mean YOUR home, Master."
Sirius: My home IS your home, love. I'll have to find out. I don't remember having a gathering *approaches a servant* What's with the hubbub here? What's the occasion?
"The party for you boss, my Lord. You ordered the place to be ready a month ago."
Sirius: Party...? *thinks bk, then remembers that he had promised his boss the Head Auror tht this year birthday party for him will be hosted at his home* Merlin's beard! You're right! I forgot all abt it!!
Severus was out of the loop. "Master?" This meant no sex.
Sirius: *sees Sev's dejected look, then steals a look at the time before reaching ovr to grip his ass behind the robes* We still have abt 2 hours before the party starts, or do you want to wait until I'm too exhausted frm hosting n leave u hanging? *grins teasingly*
"Now, Master." Severus blushed. "Fuck me now."
Sirius: *grins n held him by the waist, leading them to the bathroom which was already being prepared n the clothes to wear for teh party on his bed. Whispering a spell, he magicked away both their clothes, leaving them bare*
Severus blushed again. He looked at his still flat stomach. "Do you think that doctor knew what he was saying?" He looked up Sirius. "Will you still find me atractive when I am a beached whale?"
Sirius: I found you attractive when I first saw u skin and bones. I'll find you attractive anyway you look. * caresses the stomach where their child is* So...looking forward to have our little lady, or "ladies" if the docs right abt twins?
"Oyi, don't get started with that. I just want one healthy baby at a time...I thought you wanted a son."
Sirius: I told you before. I don't really care of our baby's gender, as long as ur happy

"Do you want me to stay in my roon?" He didn't want to do anything to get Sirius fired.
Sirius: No. It's OK. You can join us as well, although it's best if you stay amongst the hired help
"....ok." Severus looked down at the water. He hated parties.
Sirius: You don't have to join if u don't want to. I just...well, I just worry if ur not within my sight. It's not unknown to my friends I have you for a slave, no thanks to that bloody Lucius Malfoy's big mouth, n if I'm not there to watch you. I fear they might sneak up on you
"Do I have to 'entertain?'" Severus asked.
Sirius: No. You do not and you will not. No one is allowed to touch you. Understand? And I'm saying this not as a Master's orders, but also as your lover
Severus smiled. "Thank you, Master. That means a lot."
Sirius: *quickly bathed the both of them and dried up before getting dressed in the clothes prepared for him. He then got some clothes for Sev that would help Sev fit in among the hired help*
"Are you sure I should wear these? I mean far be it from me to ubject but...I look like a servant, not a slave."
Sirius: I don't want you to look like a slave, that's the whole point. You're better off looking like one of the hired help n hang ard with Paprika while I host the guests, because you won't be noticed if ur a hired help. It's for the best if we're to keep those mangy grubby hands away frm u
"But I like your hands." he grinned, putting Sirius' hands on his hips.
Sirius: Yes, n you will feel it as much as you can, bt believe me, I'll be too busy to keep an eye on you. So promise me you'll stick by Paprika's side, OK?
"Yes, Master." He leaned up to peck his lips. "I promise I will stay by her side."
Sirius: *kisses back n helps him to adjust his clothes* Alright. Ready?
"You look dashing, Master. Don't even think about bringing anyone back to our bed."
Sirius: I wouldn't evn dream of it. Alright, take the other flight of stairs that leads to the hired help quarters n stay with Paprika. As for me *rolls his eyes and sighed* time to face the music
Severus kissed him. "I love you." he hurred down the servant stairs to the kitchen to find paprika
Sirius: I love you too *watches as he leaves before he himself took the main steps to meet with his guests n the Head Auror*
Paprika: *was getting ready with the au'douvres wen she sees Sev* Hey there, luv. Aren't u supposed to be with Master Black?
"He doesn't want anyoneto think I am a slave. I am suppose to blind in. Paprika." He grinned. "I'm pregnant."
Paprika: OMG, reli, luv?? Congratulations! I guess that explains you being here. How far along are u?
"About a month or so." He smiled big. "Sirius wants to k- I mean my Master wants to keep it."
Paprika: *raised an amused brow* Ah...Starting to go on first-name basis now, aren't we? Don't worry, luv, u can call him by his first name in front of me. No big. Well, since you're here, why don't you and I go serve some of these au'douvres to the guests, aye?
"Ok." He picked up a plater. "What do I do? Just ask if they want one?"
Paprika: You don't have to ask, really. Just walk past them n stop whenever their hand reaches out for it. Take a tray and follow my lead
*Meanwhile, Sirius was busy entertaining the guest, the Head Auror in particular*
Severus nodded, following Paprika around.
"Sirius, my boy. There you are. Where have you been hiding."
Sirius: Hey there, Mr. Underhill! I was just looking for you! Happy birthday!
"Thank you. Fourty again." He laughed, as his own stupid joke.
Sirius: *laughed as well, although inwardly he was gagging* So how's that case you just took? I heard you single-handedly solved the mysterious stealing of Muggle Artifacts frm Arthur Weasley's department that not even Moody could figure out
"Moody would not know how to find his cane with his eye. It was very simple."
Sirius: So, sir *putting on his ass-licking charm despite himself* Abt the things we discussed, if I may be so bold, what are the chances of me getting up ahead to Deputy Auror, eh?
"Hmm...maybe." He smiled. "Oh orderves. Lets talk about this after I get something to eat."
Sirius: *sees Paprika n Sev walking along with the au'douvres, keeping his fingers crossed n hoping the blending in worked*
Underhill: *takes a few au'douvres frm Paprika before approaching Sev to take a few more, then noticed* New servant, I see?
Sirius: Yes. Just got him a few mths ago
Severus gulped and looked down at the floor.
Underhill: Hmm, looks rather interesting. Not very handsome, bt has a sort of allure to him.
Severus blushed.
Sirius: Yes, sir, abt that Deputy Auror position...
Underhill: *takes Sev's chin n studied him* Mm...Very, very interesting indeed...
Severus looked at him, panic setting in. But his Master would let anyone touch him in that way. Right? Yes.
Sirius: *reaches ovr to take the Head Auror's hand away frm Sev* Yes, well, let's not bother the hired help n talk some plc else, eh...?
Underhill: Now, now, let's not rush. Why don't you let me have some alone time with this servant here? It's been a while since I had a slave, n I usually don't target the hired help, bt he seems to be quite exceptional...
Severus looked at Sirius. "I am sorry sir. I am taken." He tried to get away.
Underhill: Don't be shy. It's my birthday, have a heart...
Sirius: GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF HIM!!!
Severus blinked, gringing at Sirius' voice, even if it want not directed at him. "Please sir, really I am taken." He said trying to bring the calm in the room.
Underhill: What is the meaning of this, Sirius? How dare you mouth off your superior, and on my birthday no less!
Sirius: I don't care if it's ur deathday! This is MY house and these are MY hired help and you WILL respect their rights!
Underhill: Why I never...!
Severus bit his lip. "My Lord." He said to Sirius. "Please do not be mad. I am sure my lover will under stand. I don't want you to be in trouble." He handed his platter to another servant.
Underhill: At least someone's being understanding *reaches ovr to take Sev by the arm bt stopped at his tracks by Sirius' wand pointing dangerously at his throat*
Sirius: Touch him and this will be your last birthday ever
"Master, please." Severus tried to calm him. "Please, I can do this." He said softly.
Sirius: No, you will not. Come here, Severus
Paprika: *watches the scene unfold tensely just as everyone in the house did*
He gulped and moved back to Underhill. "I will do this for you, Master."
Underhill: Get away, servant. I'll deal with you later. No one points a wand at me and gets away with it *pushes Severus aside hard onto the floor n brandish his wand*
Paprika: *gasped at the sight*
Severus fell, clipping himself on a foot rest, on his belly. He fell to the ground and he just knew it. "MASTER!"
Sirius: *shocked at what Underhill did. Anger fogged his judgement n vision. Everything ard him felt like slow motion as he couldn't hear anything bt deafening silence, he yelled a hex that sent Underhill crashing against the wall before rushing to Severus, carrying him in his arms n yelled for a servant to get the carriage*
"It hurts." He curled as best he could. "Master, please."
Sirius: *as soon as the servant got the carriage, he left the party and carried him in n screamed for the driver to go to St Mungo's at top speed, cradling Sev in his arms* Hang in there, Sev. I'm right here
"Please, Master. Please don't let my baby die." He grabbed his stomach. "My baby." He sobbed.
Sirius: Shh...I'm here, I'm here...Hang in there, love
"I don't feel her anymore. My baby is gone."
Sirius: No! No, don't say tht! She's alright! She'll be alright! We're almost there!
*within minutes, they were at St Mungo's. Sirius yelled for the doctor to treat Sev, and surprisingly it was the snobby nurse who rushed ovr to help take him into the doctor's ward*
"She's gone. She's gone."
The doctor came in. "What wrong?"
Sirius: He had an accident. He fell. Pls, pls, save our baby!
"Oh." The doc started working on Severus. He got him on the table and his shirt up, scaning the area. After ten minutes of trying to figure it out he sighed and dropped his want to his side. "There is no heart beat. You have had a miscarrage."
Severus blinked through tears, then started yelling at Sirius. "This is your fault. If you want agreed our baby would be alive." He severus hitting Sirius' chest. "I hate you!"
Sirius: *after the devastating news sink in, he allowed him to hit his chest, bearing the bruises that might come, as tear fell like rain dwn his face. With trembling arms, he held the screaming Sev close to him*
"I hate you, I hate you!" He sobbed into Sirius' chest. "I..." his word stopped being word and just turned into sobs.
Sirius: I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry... *rocks Sev to and fro, sobbing just as hard*
"Why our baby. why?"
The doc patted his back. "The baby needs to come out. It will be painful but we need to."
"No, please. I can't."
Sirius: I'm right here, Sev. She's gone now. Let them do it. I'm right here
"No. I don't want her to go." he held on to Sirius. "She just can't. Stella can't be gone. Not again"
Sirius: Shh... You have to, or you'll get an infection. I'm here... *nodded for the doctor to do it* I'm right here...
Nurse: *was ready with the tools*
"My baby." He sobbed against Sirius' as they did the posedure. Once it was done and the 'baby' was expleled the doc had the nurse take it away. Severus had stop crying, he was doing a little more than breathing and looking off into space.
"Miscarrages can take a little out of them. I would advise to not try for another for at least six weeks." THe doc said.
Sirius: *nods in understanding* Can I have the baby you took out? Just so we could properly bury her or something?
"Yes. Nurse put the baby in one of the boxes we have."
Nurse: *nods n does so*
Sirius: So...can I take Severus home, or does he need to stay in the hospital?
"You can take him home. Keep him well hidrated. And..stay by him. He doesn't look good."
Sirius: OK *carries Sev bridal style n let Sev hold onto the box that contained their little child n took the carriage home*
Severus was just looking off into space.
*as soon as Sirius got home, he saw that his house was more or less deserted of guests n the hired help cleaning up the mess. They, including Paprika, stopped to see Sirius enter bt dare not say anything. Sirius put Sev onto bed, gave him a glass of water to drink n lay dwn beside him, watching him with the box in his beloved's arms*
Severus went through the motions of drinkingthe water, still holding the box.
Sirius: *stroke his hair, watching him quietly, wiping off the last traces of tears frm his own eyes*
Severus blinked and sat the glass down.
Sirius: Would you like to bury our little baby tomorrow? I knw a good plc somewhere deep in the cemetery to lay her to rest
Severus tightened his hands on the box but he didn't say anything.
Sirius: *sighs* I'm sorry, Sev. I...I just didn't...You knw I don't want anyone to... *abt at lost of words* I'm sorry *brings Sev close n sobs quietly*
Severus kept his eyes forward. He didn't even seem to notice that Sirius was crying.
Sirius: Pls...Pls forgive me, Sev. Pls forgive me... *sobs*
There was a long silence before he heard a "I do." before there wasa muffled sob.
Sirius: *hugged him tight, sobbing along with him, rocking him to and fro*
"It hurts so much to know that she will never be born."
Sirius: I knw...I knw...We'll give her a proper burial, love. We'll still give her a name regardless
He gripped the box. "Will she be burried with you family."
Sirius: Would you want me to?
"She is your child. It don't want her stuck in some back corner that no one visits like we would be ashamed of her."
Sirius: But I don't want her to be buried with the sorry excuse of my family who never accepted me and hated me for being a blood traitor. I will not associate her with them. Besides, it's abt time your mother knew she had a granddaughter
"A cross in back of a small cottage? Her grave maybe torn up by now."
Sirius: Not reli. You didn't think I'd put my Auror skills to use, did you? I've located your mother during my free time at work n relocated her body to a nice quaint cemetery where my family is buried, but a bit distance away frm them. We can bury our little girl beside her
"I just don't want anyone to say you are ashamed of her."
Sirius: I'm not ashamed of her. I'm never ashamed of her. I'm ashamed of my family, yes, but never her. You are my family now, that's all that matters
"Ok, but...you put your last name on the grave."
Sirius: I wouldn't have it any other way
"What should we name her?"
Sirius: You mentioned ur sister's name Stella. So...we could name her that
"No. I don't want another baby to die with that name. Maybe our next daughter could be?"
Sirius: Alright. Then we'll name her Selena. After my friend who died protecting me frm a Killing Curse in duty
"That sounds nice. Selena Black." He tried to smiled, but his heart still hurt to much. "How long before we can start trying again?"
Sirius: The docs said maybe in 6 weeks time. But let's not rush it. Your health is our top priority now
"I just feel so empty inside." He blinked back tears. "I want another inside me."
Sirius: Be patient. It'll pass. We'll have another soon. For now, just rest *stroke his hair*
"I didn't meant to yell at you earlier, Master. I was just so upset. Please forgive me."
Sirius: It's OK. It's understandable. I would've done the same thing if I were in ur shoes. I should be sorry for causing this. I... *his heart ached at his helplessness*
Severus pressed a kiss to his lips. "I love you."
Sirius: I love you too *kisses him bk lovingly*
