CHAPTER 4
Severus got up in the morning and washed and dressed, taking special care to look nice. His cheek did look a bit pink but a glamior charm did good.
Sirius: *on the other hand was so excited abt the picnic tht he couldnt sleep, n by the time he actually slept he barely evn lasted 3 hours before he was awakened by Remus*
“Wake up, the day is here, Sirius.” He open the three windows to let in tons of light.
Sirius: *groaned n buried his head under the pillows* Five more minutes, Ma~!
Remus chuckled. “Then I will owl the Snapes and tell them you will not be coming.”
Sirius: O_O *gets up almost immediately* Gah! The picnic! *jumped off the bed n freshened up, moving as if his pants was on fire*
Remus had laid his clothes out. “I have had Mrs. Weasely pack a lunch for you.”
Sirius: Oh, thanks, Remy. Wht would I do without u, ol' pal
“You would be lost.” He smiled.
Sirius: *chuckled* True *got dressed* Bt seriously though, ur always looking out for me. Wen will it be tht u'll look out for urself?
“I am fine as I am.” He nodded. “I enjoy taking care of you.”
Sirius: Reli? Why dont u find someone to settle dwn or something? I'm sure there's gotta be someone u like
“No.” he shook his head. “No one.”
Sirius: *shrugged as he finishes the last of his buttons* Ah well, I guess it'll come to u soon *turns ard to show Remus* So, how do I look?
“You looked nice, Sirius. Severus will be impressed. Should I have the carrige brought around? Are we picking them up or meeting them?”
Sirius: We'll be meeting them. Dont want to stir up too much gossip going to pick them. U knw how the media loves a sensational love story
“Yes they do. But I am sure that they will see us. I will get the carriage that dosen’t have the crest on it.”
Sirius: Tht'll be best. Thanks, Remy
Remus nodded and went to get the carraige ready.
Sirius: *double-chked himself again before going dwnstairs*
Severus went and found his mum. “Is father gone?”
Eileen: Yes. He just left. I suggest we wait for a few more minutes to throw him off track before we go
“Ok. How do I look?” He twirled around. “Do you think Lord Black will like?”
Eileen: *looked at him* U look wonderful, darling. I'm sure Lord Black would definitely cannot tear his eyes away frm u
“Do you think he was serious when he said he wanted to meet me for a picnic? Maybe he was joking, I will make a fool of my self.” he paniced
Eileen: Oh, dont worry urself off, dear. Why go thru all tht trouble just to joke with u? The Ancient House of Black r known for their eccentricity, bt they're not liars. Dont worry, dear, I'll be there every step of the way
“Thank you, mum.” He hugged her
Eileen: *hugs him bk n kissed his cheek* Shall we?
“Yes.” He took a deep and stepped outside.
Eileen: *took his hand n hail for a public carriage n made their way to Hide Park*
Sirius: *was there a little early, n was waiting nervously*
“Stop fidgeting.” Remus said laying out the picnic blanket.
Sirius: Well I cant help it. Wht if he doesnt take me seriously? Wht if he is one of those gold-diggers aftr all? *gasped* Wht if he nvr evn liked me enough to show up?
“Where is that whiskey I packed.” He got it out and took it over to Sirius. “For nerves.”
Sirius: *backed away a little* I doubt Sev would appreciate me smelling like booze
“True, but it will calm your nerves.”
Sirius: *sighed n dwn a mouthful before passing it to Remus* Mmh, much better now, I guess
“See?” Remus put it away.
Sirius: Its just tht...I nvr reli seriously dated anyone, u knw, as in reli seriously
“I know, but it really is just the first date. With many more to come. Try to enjoy yourself.”
Sirius: *smiled* Yeah, I guess ur right *sees frm the distance* Ho there. I think they're here *sees Sev dressed in his picnic clothes* W...Woah... *blushes at the sight of awe before him*
Severus fell a flush come over his face as he walked with his mum. “He is here. Mum I feel uneasey.”
Eileen: Oh hush. I'm right here, remember? *takes Sev's hand n led him there* Ah, Lord Black. It is such a pleasure for u to invite my child to ur picnic *curtsied to him*
Sirius: Not at all, Baroness *bowed* Both of u look charming, especially u, milady *takes his hand n kissed it*
Severus blushed and curtsied. “Thank you, Milord.”
Remus finished putting everything out.
Eileen: My, arent we having a wonderful spread here?
Sirius: Only the best for my lovely guests. Pls, hv a seat *led them to their seats*
Severus sat down. “The weather is nice, isn’t it.” Severus was at a loss for words beyond the weather.
Sirius: Yes, most definitely *also a little lost at wht to say*
Remus served them tea. “How was the trip down, Baroness?” Remus asked.
Eileen: A little bumpy, bt managable. I hope ur ride was pleasant
Sirius: *inched a wee bit closer to Sev n whispered* I was worried tht u wouldnt show
“Same here.” Severus said.
“Do you live her in the city or did you travel in for the season?” Remus asked, keeping her occupied.
Eileen: Its a travel, more or less *gestured Remus to sit a small distance away frm the couple to give them some privacy*
Sirius: I couldnt sleep all night, thinking abt our date today
Severus blushed. "Really?" He looked down at his hands. "I couldn't sleep either."
Sirius: *chuckled* I only slept like barely a few hours before the date n needed Remy to wake me up. How embarassing is tht?
"I didn't sleep so I was able to get up."
Sirius: Well, then we're more or less in the same boat *looked ard to make sure no one was looking before he quietly reached his hand ovr to hold Sev's*
Severus blushed again. "Why me? Surly there is someone else more..." Rich? Classy? Beautiful? "posh?"
Sirius: Those are all pretentious status. True, beauty does come in play, bt...I dunno, I'm just...rather drawn to u somehow. U've got tht...air abt u. It's like staring at a Veela n u dont wanna look away. I get tht frm u *inched just a WEE bit closer*
"Now your just feeding me a line." He pulled his hand away.
Sirius: No, I'm not *takes his hand again gently* I'm serious. Its wht made me approach u in the first plc
Severus frowned, still not trusting him. "So how many people are you courting?"
Sirius: None at the moment. Just you *smiling gently at him*
"Are you going to any of the other parties this week?"
Sirius: Unfortunately yes, bt I dont plan to set my eyes on anyone except u. If u r willing to come to those parties, maybe we could get evn closer
"I was not invited to any other parties. My wealth, or lack there of excludes me."
Sirius: How abt if I invite u to those parties then?
"Then everyone will know." He said nerviously. "Do you really want there be a scandal?"
Sirius: *chuckles* There is always inviting u discreetly. One thing we take pride on is being good with secrets. No one knws evn half of wht reli goes beyond the doors of the Ancient House of Black. Bt if it makes u happy, how abt we carry on having dates like these for the moment?
"I would like that. I don't get out much when we come to London" He looked at Sirius. "Do you truly not mind that I am male?"
Sirius: Of course I dont. Just so u knw, I personally prefer men myself. I was worried if ur worried of having a man for a lover
"I am a virgin. I have never even had a kiss. My father sought to that. He said a woman should be pure until the day she says 'I do'. Then she should be a saint in the kitchen and a whore in the bedroom."
Sirius: Oi vey. Tht's a rather nasty n old fashioned way to say it. He does realize tht ur not a woman, right?
"Yes. But to him I am one. He never wanted a son. He always wanted a daughter so he could marry her off to some rich old man and live off of the rich man."
Sirius: Ugh. Talk abt a new low. Makes my problems seem to pale in comparison
"Sorry. I didn't mean to be like that. Sirius, can I ask you something, something personal."
Sirius: No, no, reli. I mean it wen u say ur problems worse than mine *turned to face him* Ask away, Sev
"On the wedding night...well what I mean is..." He blushed. "Does it hurt?"
Sirius: *was taken by surprise by tht question bt smiled kindly* Well, for women, yes, it will hv the initial pain, bt if the guy does it quick n right, it would be ovr vry soon. Bt for guys like us, we need to be prepared a lot more than women, n tht includes... *whispers* a lot of lube, so I've heard
Severus nodded. That part scared him the most. His father said, just to lay there and not fight, come what may.
Sirius: I will be frank with u, before all this party fiasco, wen I was sent away to study, I had my fair share of bedding. I knw how to treat a man gently, though...I hope it does bother u too much abt my honesty
"It is good to know. I fear that part." He said. "I have heard some horror stories from the maids. They said after a bit it was nice, but they wouldn't want to do it again anytime soon."
Sirius: There is nothing to fear abt sex reli. It the ppl tht dont understand how to treat their sex partners right tht stems all this horror stories. If we...evr get close to tht, I assure u I would nvr hurt u
"If you want to marry me." He blushed again. "Thank you for talking to me about this. I know it is personal, and people don't really want to talk about it."
Sirius: Ur lucky to hv met an open minded person like me, I presume, n yes, I'm courting u with marriage in mind *blushed a little* Sorry, I'm being forward again, am I?
"A little, but so was I." He smiled. "It's nice talking to someone with out all the formalness."
Sirius: *grinned* I've nvr been a sucker for formalities. In fact I made it my mission to aggravate my parents on not following their rules. Guess tht's why they love my bro more than me
"I am sure they love you, in there own way. I would hope that."
Sirius: *rolled his eyes* I doubt tht. Reggie is nothing bt problems. Just bcoz he was afraid of bending the rules a little, he had to spoil my fun by tattletaling to my parents abt whtever I do, just to spoil my fun, n in the end I get blamed for evry little thing, evn his death
"How did he die?"
Sirius: He got sick. He always had a weak heart reli, n the minor cold he got aftr we got caught in the rain wen we went to buy gifts for our mother's bday escalated to a full-blown pneumonia. His heart couldnt take it n failed in his sleep. N I get blamed for causing him to get sick wen he shouldnt be out with me in the first plc
"It was not your fault. They should have relised it."
Sirius: YEah well, they're not abt to let me forget tht
Severus patting his hand. "I'm sorry."
Sirius: Nah, its no big. I'm used to it. U live long enough with this kind of crowd n u learn how to filter out unnecessary chatter *grins*
"I hate the in crowd. The look down on my family but they are still willing to do business with my father."
Sirius: Money talks, unfortunately. They will do business with anyone so long it serves their profit interest n scatter u like dust once they're done with u
"Yes. Father likes doing business with th big wigs. He thinks they really like him." He shool his head. "Father always wanted to be a wizard. My aunt, his sister, is a muggle-born and he was always jealous of the magic she could do."
Sirius: I can understand tht Muggles would be fascinated in magic, bt I didnt think ur dad would go thru tht extreme
"He always has been. That is the reason he married my mother. She was the last of three daughter and the least beautiful so fine getting rid of her so he would not have to deal with her."
Sirius: U said ur mother had miscarriages aftr u were born. Any particular reason why?
"My mother has never been healthy when it came time to have children. She nearly lost me. When the next on came the miscarriage nearly killed her and the doctor said one more child and it would kill her."
Sirius: Oi vey. Well, at least she pulled thru to hv u. Ur her little precious jewel now
"Yes." He smiled. "I was three when my father changed my name and moved us. He didn't want anyone to know I was not a girl."
Sirius: Well, he's gonna hv a big surprise wen I officially take u as mine, if...tht is ur not adverse to it
"No. Surpirsingly I wouldn't mind it at all. I would very much like it."
Sirius: *smiled, then looked ard to make sure they werent watch before leaning forward to give a peck on Sev's lips*
Severus moan at the light touch and turned away blushing as red as an apple."I better go before father gets home." He stood up and brushed his dress off. "Mother I am ready."
Eileen: *looks up* Already? Bt its still early, dear
Sirius: *was a little disappointed tht he had to leave. He was enjoying their chat*
"I just want to make sure we get home before father." severus said, feeling akward.
Eileen: Ah, I understand *gets up n curtsied to Remus* It is most pleasurable chat with u, Mr. Lupin. We'll take our leave now
Sirius: *took Sev's hand n kissed it* Safe journey ahead, milady
Severus curtsied. "Please." he said quitely so only Sirius could hear. "Call on me again, soon." He headed off with his mom
"She was a lovley woman." Remus said. "How was your talk?"
Sirius: *smiled as he watched them leave before turning to Remus* Oh wonderful. Learned more things abt him, n loving him evn more than evr. God, cant wait to officially make him mine
"Don't make it too quick. You know the gosip mongers would love to speard the rumor that you got her pregnant."
Sirius: Yeah, I knw tht. Remember the last time the gossip mongers got a hold of me with Bella? *cringed* Ugh! Wht a nightmare
"It was your fault, Sirius." He smiled and started cleaning up. "Next time choose someone who is not already married."
Sirius: Oi vey, dont evn remind me. N its not my fault Bella's a slut with a husband who's got a cock the size of a limp sausage
"Please don't discribe it to me. I would like to keep my mind clean for a while longer."
Sirius: *laughs* U r always the innocent one evn tho u've been in our family for years. Tht's wht I like abt ya, my friend. Innocent n honest
"Thank you. I pride myself on that fact." He smiled. "ready to go or would you like to stay for a while longer."
Sirius: And sit here all my lonesome without my milady? No way. Lets go home
"Sounds good" He went back to the carrige and loaded up. "Your going to see her again. I give it a day."
Sirius: *grins* I believe so too * helped Remus before entering the carriage
"Thank you." and they set off.
