Love in Disguise-Epilogue

Years passed peacefully for the Snape-Black couple.

The locals sort of figured out that they were "different" from the way they interact quite casually with the vampire community, but they've gotten so used to "eccentricity", as they call it, over the years that they were pretty much well accepted into the community of Twinnings.

Sirius managed to run a quite profitable business in textiles and tailoring as his own family had been doing that as a front for their more shady businesses. Severus helped out as well with his own gift of tailoring and many people, even from the vampire community, came from far and wide to seek their expertise.

During the years in staying in Twinnings, Severus had managed to master magic with a bit of help and tutoring from Sirius and Dr Welsh. It wasn't as good as the few experts, but it was as good as most, and household chores were a little easier for him with magic around. He somehow had developed a talent for potions and had become a part-time assistant to Dr Welsh in terms of preparing potions and remedies for more magical ailments, and with that, was able to meet the more remote wizard citizens of Twinnings that Dr. Welsh had mentioned about.

Despite Severus warning Sirius never to knock him up again, they sired 3 more children, a girl they named Cassi and twin boys Travis and Trevor. They were all born with the gift of magic and were all enrolled to Durmstrang where they enjoyed every moment of it.

The Lupin-Potter couple, on the other hand, was also coping quite well. They occasionally send news and interact with the Snape-Black family, updating them on their own things as well the situation at the Black family. During the years in their marriage, Remus had given James 4 more children, a pair of fraternal twins James Jr. and Janette and another pair of boys Matthew and Matthias, all eligible for schooling in Hogwarts.

James, who had now become a full-fledged Auror by then, did not let his triplets being branded go down quietly. Using his influential power as a Potter, he sought forth to the Ministry to demand blood from the Minister, specifically those involved in the branding. With Dumbledore's help and a few good men in the Ministry, the branding was abolished and those involved in the branding, including Dolores Umbridge, were charged with assaulting and causing mortal harm on minors and was sentenced to quite a long time in Azkaban and be stripped from their high position in the Ministry.

Remus moved on to become one of the most beloved professors in Hogwarts, teaching DADA like it was second nature to him. He had occassionally gotten some looks from others, and he knew they were thinking what James was worried about in the first place: him snatching James and taking advantage of Lily's death, and some conspiracy theorist among them accused Remus of probably being Lily's murderer because of his wolf nature, but of course, James was able to set the record straight by showing them evidence of the real murderer (who was Petunia) and warned everyone to leave him alone, or else.

Finally, when the Snape-Black family were preparing for Star and Skye's 12th birthday, Reggie approached them at their doorstep telling Sirius that their parents had, ironically, been brutally murdered when they exhausted all magical means and tried to hunt them down in the Muggle world. Rumor has it, they were hung upside down and their blood was drained dry in a motel just three towns away from Twinnings.

Sirius had a feeling who could have done this, since he had made a few considerably loyal friends among the night community, though he was surprised they actually went that far to protect him, considering the fact that they find wizard blood a foul stench. Reggie said that both he and Sirius were eligible for the family fortune as they have left their will to no one else, and asked if he was ready to come home, back to the wizarding world and back to their old life and assume control of the Ancient House of Black.

One look at his family, Sirius knew he had everything he needed right here with him.

And that was enough.
