*Elly, Nakh, Rai and the twins are out hunting*

Kal: You'll soon be able to after u give birth to my grandchild ^^

Melly: *finishes one quilt*

Kiba: I hope s....*winces a bit8

Kal: Kiba? *goes to him*

Kiba: I felt a slight pain

Kal: Oh my... Melly, watch over him, I'm going to call Kita

Melly: OK, mom *carries Kiba n puts him on his lap*

Kal: *rushes to Kita's home n to his office*

Kita: *is working on parchments*

Kal: Hey, Kita. Kiba is going into labour. We're gonna need help frm the Nymphs. Only they can handle a giant baby's birth

Melly: *while he tend to Kiba, he too felt a little twinge in pain*

Elly: *feels a sudden chill within him*

Kita: *drops his quilt and gets up* Cmon, let's hurry

Kai: What's the matter, Elly?

Raito:: Ya cold?

Elly: No...It's...something else...Something's happening *his body instinctively turn towards home*

Nakh: *surprised, but he too felt something tugging at his heartstrings*

Melly: Oow...! *the contractions became worse*

*The twins follow him*

Kiba: You too, Melly? *winces* Oowie

Melly: *pants, trying to hold onto the pain* Y...Y...Yes...I...can almost feel it...coming dwn...

Elly: *returns home n sees Kiba in Melly's lap* Ki...Kiba? Melly?

Twins: Melly! *they head to their mate*

Elly: *holds Kiba close to his chest* Wh...Where's Mom?

Melly: He...went to get...Kita oka-san...Oow... *held the twins in his arms, trying to bear the pain*

Kita: Boys? Oh my. Kal, do you have that item from when I had the twins? Or was that Nakh?

Nakh: I have it *takes out the shell-shaped flute n blew at it*

*within 10 seconds, the Nymphs appeared right beside Rai and Kita*

Meme: Well, what do we have here? *whistled at the sight of Melly n Kiba* Busy bee, aren't we?

Kita: Good to see you all. We need help. It's my nephews

Kiba: *opens his eyes to see nymphs* Nymphs?

Kita: These were the ones that helped me when I had the twins

Kal: Yup. They are the only ppl to be able to handle extraordinary births. They delivered Elly for me, although they didn't deliver Melly coz Melly was too eager to be born n Nakh was out hunting.

Onole: Let's not waste time then. You'll have to take them outside. They can't give birth here

Elly: *nods n carries Kiba outside*

Nakh: * helps Melly up to take him outside*

Kita: Just keep breathing, Kiba.

Kiba: *keeps his breathing steady*

Twins: *they stood on Melly's shoulder, giving him comfort*

*the Nymphs held hands together n chanted a spell, then with one swipe, materialized a huge birthing hut. The commotion had more or less caught the villagers' attention*

Onole: Right, bring them in now

Nakh: *went in first with Melly n the twins*

Elly: *followed after with Kiba*

Kiba: oow! >.< *feels more severe pain*

*the immediate family comes in*

Meme: Melly has to give birth kneeling dwn. It'll be easier for him. Kita, you and I and Nulu will assist Kiba's birth. Kal, the rest of you help Melly out

Kal: Alright.

Nakh: *kneels behind Melly n supports him by the armpits*

Kiba: OoW! *starts breathing* it hurts!

Kita: I know it does. You gotta work the contractions, Push when you feel one

Elly: *has Kiba on his lap to support him by holding his legs up n spreading them*

Kal: Alright, Mel. You feel a contraction?

Melly: *nods n cries*

Kal: Don't cry, Mel. Be strong. Push when u feel one, go on

Melly: *feels another coming n did as he was instructed, pushing dwn*

Kiba: *did the same, pushes down with a contraction*

Kita: You're doing good, Kiba

Nulu: *is ready with the towel*

Meme: C'mon. You can do this, little wolf. Push with the contractions

Melly: Oh god! Oh god! Raito~! Kito~! It hurts~!!

Nakh: Easy, Mel, Easy...

Kiba: AAH!! *grabs onto Elly as he pushes* It hurts

Elly: You can do it, Kiba-chan. I'm right here with you

Kito: You can do it Melly!

Raito: We're here!

Melly: *pushes dwn as hard as he could* Ooowww~!!

Nakh: That's very good, Melly, easy does it

Kita: You're doing good, Kiba! It's crowning

Elly: *holds onto Kiba to support him*

Melly: *feels the baby's head* Oow! Oow! Oow~! Mom~! Dad~! It hurts~!

Kal: Easy, Mel. The baby's crowning. Keep pushing with the contractions

Kiba: Ow! *grabs harder, feeling the baby's head leaving his body*

Kita: That a boy, Kiba! You're doing great!

Nakh: *holds onto Melly, keeping him grounded*

Melly: *feels the baby inch dwn as he pushed, aided by gravity*

Kal: Very good, Mel. You're doing great!

Meme: Try to stretch bk a little his canal, Kita, it'll come out easier

Kita: *nods and does as he is told*

Kiba: Ow! Uncle! It hurts!

Kita: Cmon, it will be easier

Elly: It's OK, Kiba-chan. Let them help you. Our baby needs to be born

Kal: You're almost there, Mel. The shoulder is out

Melly: Mommy~!! *cries hard as this was the worst part*

Kito: *looks down* ooh! It's coming! KEep it up, Melly!

Raito: *tries his best to keep his brother balanced*

Melly: *pushed dwn his hardest* Oow...Oow...OOW~!!! *gravity soon helped the baby slide out of him*

Kal: Here comes the first one! It's a girl!

Nakh: Good work, Mel!

Elly: *sees the wailing baby n smiles, happy for his 'sister'*

Kita: I got him! *catches the baby* Oof, It's a boy!

Kiba: *finally breathes with relief*

Elly: *cries happy tears*

Meme: Woah! *sees the size of the baby, which is almost like a regular 2 year old* You've reli outdone urself, Elly

Kita: *cleans the baby and cuts the cord. Wrap the baby up in a blanket* Here ya go

Melly: *wants to hold his baby girl bt was stopped by another contraction* Oow~!

Kito: Here comes number 2

Kiba: *takes the baby* He's so beautiful

Elly: He's got ur hair, Kiba-chan.

Melly: I can't...! I can't do it anymore...! It hurts...!!

Kal: I knw it hurts bt it has to come out somehow. C'mon, Mel, you can do it

Twins: Melly! Please!

Melly: SHUT UP!! I FUCKING HATE YOU!! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! *hits at them, making both of them fall*

Nakh: Oh boy ^^;

Twins: Ow...the pain...@_@

Kiba: *winces at the screaming*

Nulu: Ah, the age-old screaming. How many centuries have we heard tht?

Kita: *looks at the young wolf/giant*

Elly: I have the perfect name for him: Jarokh. It means 'Magic' in giant language

Kal: C'mon, Melly, you've gotten the first one out. She's already paved the way. The second one will be easier

*the twins are still knocked out*

Melly: *sobs bt finally pushed dwn*

Kita: *goes to help* I see a head!

Melly: Oow!! Oow!! OOW!!! IT HURTS, MOMMY!!!

Kita: *gets his hands out* I see it! Keep it going Melly!

Kal: *takes one end of the head while Kita takes the other side* Keep going, Mel. Keep going. Push!

Melly: *wails as he pushed. He had never thought giving birth would invoke so much pain* MOMMY~!! DADDY~!!

Nakh: You're almost there. Almost there

*the twins manage to regain consciousness and get back into position* Cmon MElly!

Kal: You're doing very good, Mel. C'mon. Push harder

Melly: *does as he was told, screaming curses n swears at the twins as he pushed, n didn't stop until the bulge between his legs was no more*

Kita: *catches* I got him!

Melly: *leans bk against Nakh n cries in relief*

Nulu: Woah! They're just as big as Kiba's, if not slightly smaller

*The twins each held a twin* Look Melly. We did it

Melly: *as Nakh lies him dwn, he looked tearfully at the babies* They're...They're so beautiful...

Kito: *shows him the baby that looks like him* She's so cute

Raito: *holds the twin that looks like him* I agree ^^

Melly: C...Can I name them...? Pls...?

Twins: *they looked at each other* Sure!

Melly: * caresses the girl* Delora *then caresses the boy* Fedora

Raito: I like those names

Kito: ^^ I do too

Meme: Ah, new members of the family. Wat a beautiful sight

Kita: *goes to his nephew* Hey grand nephew

Elly: *smiles as he cradled both Kiba n their son in his arms*

Melly: *slumps against his father, passed out frm fatigue*

Kiba: *sniffles, feeling relieved*

Twins: *They look at their babies*

Kal: They're beautiful, boys *leans dwn to kiss his grandchildren's foreheads* Hey there, love

*The grandkids giggle at their grandpapa*

Meme: * helps to clean both Kiba, Melly n the babies up* Well, looks like everything is in order. We'll be taking our leave now

*An hour later...the two couples are given their rest after the big ordeal of birth*

Kal: Cant believe I'm a grandmother now. Gods, I feel so old

Kita: You're not that old, Kal. Besides I'm old

Nakh: Yeah. Even older than I am *chuckles*

Kita: *starts to sing a song that catches Kalana's attention* Speechless...speechless...that's how you make me feel...

Kal: This...song sounds familiar...

Kita: *stops singing* Hm?

Kal: It sounds...almost something I've heard wen I was a kid

Kita: It's something I sang when I was a kid

Kal: Sounds beautiful, just couldn't put my finger on where I've heard it frm

Nakh: Could be something ur parents picked up. U did say ur parents did a bit of traveling

Kal: I guess

Kita: No honestly. It's something I made up

Nakh: What I meant was probably Kal's parents picked it up somewhere frm u. Who knws, they may have overheard u singing

Elly: You've got a reli beautiful voice tho, Uncle Kita

Kita: *blushes brightly* thanks Elly

Nakh: You could probably rival my little songster here *ruffles Kal's head*

Kal: *giggles* I'm not that good a singer

Nakh: Looks like it's gonna be dark soon.

Elly: Didn't think the birth would last all day

Kal: That's birth for ya. Not easy

Kita: It was long when I had the twins. Took 7 hours

Kal: Mine to abt 12 hours, then for Melly was a little faster, 4 hours. He was so eager to come out

Kita: I remember. I was the one who delivered him

Nakh: I feel bad for not being there for him though

Kal: S'ok. U were far away frm the clan hunting with Rai, remember? I don't blame u

Kita: Yea, it's not your fault, Nakh.

Takai: *comes back from berrypicking* Hey Papa. Hey Master Nakh

Kita: Hey Takai ^^

Kal: Hello. You missed something rather exciting today

Nakh: *nods*

Takai: what happened?

Kita: Kiba and Melly had their babies

Takai: O_O What?!

Elly: Shhh~! They're sleeping

Takai: *the giant covered his mouth* sorry

Kal: Wanna see them?

Takai: Sure. ^^ *is getting excited*

Kal: *takes Takai's fingers n led him to the room, where Elly and the twins were seated by Kiba n Melly's bed, holding their newborn babies*

Takai: Aww, they're adorable

Elly: His name is Jarrokh, bt we're thinking of nicknaming him Jerry. Easier on the tongue

Takai: *looks at the wolf-giant* Hey Jerry ^^

Kiba: *is napping

Nakh: There's ur little godchildren *points at Fedora n Delora in the twins' arms*

Takai: G-godchildren? Mine?

Kal: Yes. Didn't Melly already promised u that u'll be their godfather, so I've heard?

Takai: That's right...*sniffles, some tears fall down his face*

Nakh: Would u like to hold them? Twins, tell him their names

Kito: Fedora

Raito: Delora ^^

Takai: Sure! *is given the twins*
