Ebony&Ivory-Chapter 28

Luke: *On the final day of the performance, Luke was on the final performance of the night and of the concerts. He was performing Man in the mirror* Make that change, cmon!

*the crowd went wild, then came the moment where one of the fans is allowed to come up stage in which Luke had to pick him/her*

Luke: *picks out a female fan from the crowd and helps her up*

Fan: *squealed n came up to him, hugging him tight, ignoring the jealous shouts n cheers in the audience*

Luke: *continues singing, giving the fan a big hug*

Fan: *whispers near Luke's ear* Go to hell, u disgrace *brandished out a knife n stabbed Luke on the bk*

Luke: *Feels the sharp pain in his back, falling to the ground*

*3 security guards rush out to arrest the fan while everyone goes to check on Luke*

Illust: *screamed in horror as she ran to Luke first, holding him* Luke~!! Luke~!!

*the audience panics and are in shock of what just took place. Paramedics arrive and carefully get him out off of the stage and into an ambulance*

Illust: *rides the ambulance along with Anita*

*the ambulance was tailed by the press n escorted by police*

Luke: *has fallen into shock after the attack*

Guard: *At Lisa-Marie's* Miss Presley?

Lisa: Yes? Is something the matter?

Guard: It's your friend, Luke Oliva. *turns on the TV*

Tv: Just recently, Luke Oliva was attacked and stabbed by a random fan he pulled on stage. AS of right now, he's being rushed to the nearest hospital

Lisa: *shocked as she covered her mouth* Oh my god! Quick, get me the driver. I want to see him

*the footage showed the scene of Luke being stabbed before being apprehended*

Tom: *rushes to the hospital with Leo, where Anita and Illust are waiting outside8 How is he

Anita: He's critical. The docs said he was stabbed almost at a vital part on his bk, bleeding reli badly. We're not sure whether he'll pull thru or if he will be able to walk

Illust: *started sobbing hard* It's my fault~! I should've protected him~!

Leo: *hugs her* It's not your fault. It was unexpected*

Tom: Dear God. *runs his hand through his hair*

Illust: *sobs in Leo's arms*

Anita: I just hope he'll pull thru...

Tom: *hugs Anita close*

*almost an hour later, the docs finally came out*

Tom: Doc? How is he?

Doc: He's finally stabilized now. He lost a lot of blood, bt we managed to replenish him again, tho right now is the most critical moment. If he doesnt wake up, its most likely he'll be brain dead coz of the loss of blood. If he does, hopefully he'll be strong enough to be able to walk

Tom: *He just held his breath, he hoped and prayed that Luke will make it through the night*

Illust: *cried evn more wen she heard he would be brain dead if he doesnt wake up*

Lisa: *came in at the nick of time, since she had renewed her contract with Luke's help aftr his personal tour to allow visitations with Illust as long as it didnt affect her career* Hey guys! I got here as soon as I could! Wht's the news?

Leo: *hugs Illust* Just pray for him, Illust

Tom: He's stabilized, but the kid lost a lot of blood. He might wake up or not

Lisa: Oh no...Tht sounds bad...

Illust: *looks up to Lisa n ran to her* Mama~!! Mama, they say Luke will be brain dead~!! Waa~!!

Lisa: Shh, shh, shh...Mama's here. Luke will be alright. I knw it

*A matter of hours pass by, as the 5 wait in Luke's room, praying for his recovery*

Illust: *cradled in her mother's arms, already tired frm sobbing bt struggling to stay awake*

Anita: *took Luke's hand close to her n prayed*

Tom: *is holding onto his little brother, who fell asleep*

Lisa: *held Illust close, praying along with Anita hoping Luke will be alright*

Illust: *finally gave in n fell asleep as well*

*A few more hours pass them by

*a gentle kind familiar falsetto voice whispered in Luke's ear* Wake up, Luke. It's not ur time yet. My princess needs u

Luke: M-Michael

MJ: Wake up. Open ur eyes. Ur not ready to come with me yet. Go bk

Luke: I-I will. For everyone *he slowly began to open his eyes*

MJ: *his voice faded away* Take care of my princess... *disappeared*

Anita: *sees his eyes opening* L...Luke...?!

Luke: *the blurriness wore off. he looked and saw everyone*

Tom: Luke!

Leo: *woke up and rubbed his eyes, widening* LUKE!

Illust: *awoke almost instantly n raced towards him* Luke~!! Luke, Luke, Luke~!! *sobs happily as she hugged him*

Lisa: Oh thank god... *came up to Luke*

Luke: *hugs Illust* Michael said hi

Illust: *sobs in his arms* Reli? I was so scared~! I thought u were going to die~!

Luke: I thought I was too...but he told me to come back

Tom: He's always watching you, man.

Leo: *hugs onto him*

Lisa: N I'm so glad he is

Anita: The docs told me to make sure u hv a chance to walk *pokes gently at Luke's legs* Can u feel tht?

Luke: *moves his toes*

Tom: THat's definitely a yes

*There's a knock on the door*

Illust: *smiled as she saw Luke's feet moving, seeing it as a good sign*

Lisa: Now who could tht be? *went to answer the door*

Thilius: We heard on the news. We wanted to check on our buddy

Luke: *gets up slowly* I'll be damned. Thilius Broadway

Faira: We brought u flowers. *holds a bouquet*

Anita: Aww, tht's so sweet. Put em there *gestures to an empty vase*

Thilius: When we heard the news, we came as fast as we can, but them doctors wouldn't let us in

Faira: He almost caused a ruckus n the security guard almost wanted to drag us away if it werent for our bodguards. We were so worried for u

Luke: That's good. What about that girl who attacked me?

Faira: She's in custody right now. Apparently she had been vry against the tribute tour u were doing. She had been a nuisance in the radio calling in all the time voicing out her protests tht the radio station had her number blocked. Then she rallied some ppl who shared her opinion n came to attack the TII crew, including Kenny n was arrested n given a restraining order. She seemed to hv violated the restraining order wen she came to u n attacked u like tht. She might be charged for attempted murder, bt her lawyer is gonna plead insanity defense

Anita: Oh my, how terrible! I knw we hv a few ppl who didnt like Luke doing Mike's tribute bt this is...

Luke: Not if I testify.

Thilius: Not to mention, we got ahold of those calls on tapes. *shows 'em* We have friends at the station

Tom: That'll be enough for her.

Faira: I'm surprised u didnt knw. It happened during wen u were having ur own tour at the time. Or maybe Kenny thought he shouldnt worry u abt this

Illust: I just hope whtever it is they do, as long as they keep her away frm Luke *hugs him*

Luke: No, I just brushed them aside, if I got caught in them, I'd get distracted easily

Leo: Amen to that

Leon: *knocks* Luke?

Luke: Hey Leon! whatcha doing here?

Leon: I came when I heard the news?

Faira: Hey, Leon. Glad of u to come. We just told him the details abt tht girl

Illust: *looks up at Leon n blushed; he looked so beautiful*

Leon: Yea, my boyfriend told me what happened and i came rushing in

Tom: How is little Eli, anyway?

Leon: Busy.

Luke: Yea, It'll be a couple weeks before I'm ready to walk

Faira: I was abt to say tht I heard she's MJ's No1 fan, n she always thought TII should've been done by him n should not be touched by anyone bt Mike, so wen u made tht announcement, she was in a total mess, thinking u r dishonouring his memory n touching things tht didnt belong to u or something like tht

Luke: I guess she didn't hear the part that Michael left it to me in his will.

Tom: Yea, he did write it down before he died.

Leon: What she did was going too far.

Anita: She should just get the needles for this

Lisa: Now tht's lil too much, Anita

Luke: Let's hope she gets a life sentence

Lisa: She tried to kill an icon, there's most likely the chance for tht

Illust: I'm just glad she is nowhere near Luke

Tom: You seem overproective of him lately, Illust

Illust: Of course. He's my uncle n he save my life. I owe him tht much

Anita: Careful u dont get me n Leo jealous abt u two *chuckles*

Luke: Yea, you got a boyfriend

Illust: *grins n leans forward to kiss Leo on the nose*

Leo: *blushes and kisses her back*

Faira: Aww, young love. So cute

Leon: doesn't matter the gender, love is all that matters. All for love...L-O-V-E

Anita: Just like wht Mike said *chuckles*

Luke: Yea, he told it to me too.

Leon: He was such a selfless person

Luke: *turns on the TV* Anyone got a DVD?

Thili: *brought one* I got one. *puts in Avatar*

Illust: *turns to watch the movie* Wow, it looks so beautiful~!

Anita: I think it should've won the Oscars

Leon: Doesn't it? The graphics are so amazing

Luke: True, but it's rare for sci-fi and fantasy flicks to when best picture. The only exeception is Return of the King

Anita: Tht I agree as well, bt still it should've been Avatar as the Oscar. Not Hurt Locker. I didnt enjoy it

Luke: *laid back and watched the movie with every one
