Kitty Pride-Chapter 1

*In a distant future, where humans gained features and abilities of animals over time, a young man named Tora was in his apartment, waiting for a test stick to turn color. He leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath as he looked at the results*

Tora: Positive...*he signs again* I might as well call him and tell him the news

Jinbei: *had been wondering wht was wrong with Tora as he brushed his hair n the fur of his ears n tails. Since their drunken one night stand, he n his best friend Tora had stopped talking to each other n always looked at each other awkwardly, not wanting to be the first to admit wht had happened*

Tora: *Tora had the features of a white tiger. He had the ears, the tail, the claws, fangs and the eyes. Not to mention, he's quite a strong and fast sucker, despite his height of 5'9". He walked to the phone and dialed down Jinbei's number, hoping he'll pick up*

Jinbei: *had features of a lion. He had everything except the crazy-ass mane, n is also equally as fast n agile, n was taller by a few inches than Tora. He hears the phone n answered it* Hello?

Tora: Hey Jinbei...it's Tora...you won't believe this....

Jinbei: *surprised to hear him* Oh, finally decided to talk to me now, arent ya?

Tora: Jinbei...I'm pregnant

Jinbei: *his mind went blank for a moment before he muttered* Come again?

Tora: I am pregnant, Jin. I went through three pregnancy sticks

Jinbei: *dropped the phone in shock, along with himself*

Tora: Jin! JIN!

Jinbei: @_@ *KO-ed*

Tora: *he hung up the phone and got his coat on, due to the pouring rain outside. He picked up his keys and his cell, locking his apartment and headed to Jinbei's residence*

Jinbei: *was laying beside the phone, totally unconscious*

Tora: *the white tiger reached the door and turned the knob, knowing it was unlocked and noticed that Jinbei was still on the floor. He shook his head and walked to him, shaking him*

Jinbei: *groaned, slowly stirring* Ugh...! Wht happened...?

Tora: You fainted when I told you I was pregnant

Jinbei: S...So it...wasnt a dream...

Tora: No, it isn't

Jinbei: How the...Ur a man! Its impossible!

Tora: I'm an intersexual

Jinbei: Wht? Tht's vry rare. It's probably one out of 10,000 births!

Tora: Lucky me...I hit the jackpot

Jinbei: I dont find being knocked up as lucky

Tora: I was being sarcastic

Jinbei: So...wht r we to do now?

Tora: I'm two months along..*pulls his shirt up to show the bulge in his stomach*

Jinbei: *blushed for a moment n reaches ovr to touch it* I...cant believe I'm...a father...

Tora: You wanna keep it?

Jinbei: I...I dunno, it's all so sudden for me...

Tora: Well. It'll be a while till I know what we're having

Jinbei: W...Wht would u do if I said no?

Tora: Then I'd get an abortion

Jinbei: Oh, n I was expecting u to say something like u'll take care of the child urself

Tora: Well...*he doesn't know what to say

Jinbei: Can I...think abt it for a while?

Tora: Please...I'll call my sister.

Jinbei: *nodded* I'm...still sorry though

Tora: I'm fine with it. *Calls on his cell*

Mar: *A bengal tiger answered the phone* Hello?

Tora: Hey Mar. It's Tora. Is my sister that?

Mar: Hey dude. Sure is.! Hon! It's for you!

Miho: Thanks love *takes the phone* Hello?

Tora: Hey sis. I got news for ya

Miho: Huh? Wht? R u arrested n need my bail?

Tora: No no, it's nothing like that. It's good news

Miho: Phew! For a moment I thought I'm gonna hv to get u out of trouble again. So wht is it? U won a lottery?

Tora: You're gonna be an aunt ^^

Miho: Wow! Cool! Well, who's the blushing bride? Who did u knock up, eh~?

Tora: Uh...Miho...I am

Miho: Eeh~?! Who is the bastard who knocked u up?! I'll teach him a lesson!

Tora: My boyfriend, Jinbei. He's the dad

Miho: Wht did he say? If he says no, I'll kill him!

Tora: Hang on sis, he's thinking about it

Miho: Fine. Make sure he says yes, if not, I will kill him, boyfriend or not

Tora: Thanks sis

Jinbei: *can hear her frm the other line coz of her loud voice*

Tora: Wanna come over later on?

Miho: OK, sure

Mar: What's he saying?

Miho: *told her husband everything*

Mar: O_O Whoa...no way...

Miho: Yeah, I knw. My bro is an intersexual, so yeah, he can get pregnant, I just didnt think it'd be right now n by tht Jinbei

Mar: Jinbei? That big lion guy he's engaged with?

Miho: Yeah tht one. I think he's all brawn bt no brain tho. Bt if he likes him tht bad, I cant reli stop him. He has to make his own decisions

Tora: I heard that comment, sis!

Miho: Sorry, bro, bt it's true abt Jinbei. ALl brawn bt no brain. Well, I'll go ovr later

Tora: Thanks, cya sis. *hangs up*

Jinbei: She doesnt sound vry happy

Tora: She's just worried about me. Sisterly thing

Jinbei: A little extreme to be sisterly. She might hv a brother complex

Tora: Naw...*looks himself over in the mirror, notcing how big his bulge is as he rubs it

Jinbei: I suppose u most likely will hv a litter then

Tora: Naw, I think twins

Jinbei: I'm gonna go hv a drink first *walked away to the kitchen*

Tora: *follows him to the kitchen, getting a glass of milk

Jinbei: *made himself a tall glass of orange*

Tora: *gulps down his milk, more than he usually does

Jinbei: Guess the pregnancy got ur appetite more isnt it?

Tora: Yep, sure does. BBURRP! Excuse me ^//^

Jinbei: *chuckles as he drank his juice*

Tora: *sat down* So, have you made up your mind yet?

Jinbei: Wht? I thought u were going to let me think abt it

Tora: I know...but the suspense is killing me

Jinbei: I thought u would let me at least sleep on it. Ur gonna make me rush into a decision tht I might regret

Tora: *yawns* Okay. *goes to sleep on the couch8

Jinbei: Ur not actually gonna wait here until I make my decision, do u?

Tora: How can I go out there in the freezing weather?

Jinbei: *looked out* Good point. At least take the guestroom. I hv a bed there

Tora: Thanks. *he heaves himself up and walks to the guest room to take a catnap, for the lack of a better term*

Jinbei: *waited until he went to the guestroom before dialing up his best friend for advice*

Ari: Hello? *A panther answered the phone*

Jinbei: Yo, Ari. I got a bit of predicament

Ari: What is it, man?

Jinbei: Ugh...I just made the biggest mistake of my life

Ari: Mistake? Did Tora break up with you?

Jinbei: Worse. I knocked him up

Ari: No fuckin' way! How did he take it?

Jinbei: Totally fucking way. Bloody one night stand during our victory game celebration n he's now 2 mths pregnant. N he took it surprisingly well

Ari: If he wants to keep it, he should

Jinbei: *sigh* I dunno whether I should accept it or not. He seems to be fine with abortion wen I asked if I said no

Ari: Dude, he's saying that to hide his feelings. Did you look at his face?

Jinbei: Well...He looked normal, bt his eyes seemed a little...sad

Ari: He doesn't want to give it up...a life is a life, dude. You gotta keep it

Jinbei: I just dunno if I'm ready to be a dad

Ari: How old are ya?

Jinbei: Coming 21, going sophomore

Ari: And Tora's a couple months younger than ya, right?

Jinbei: Yeah, more or less

Ari: I think you two will be great folks

Jinbei: Does tht mean I'm gonna hv to marry him too?

Ari: well, that'll take time. You two can be still have a baby when you're not married

Jinbei: Yeah I guess ur right. I just dunno if I'm good enough for this parenthood thing

Ari: It'll take time to learn, dude. You gotta remember it comes naturally.

Jinbei: Wht if it doesnt? Wht if I suck? I mean, I love him n all, bt I dunno if I'm cut out for it

Ari: Wish I can comfort ya man. Just be there for him. Where is the mom-to-be, anyway?

Jinbei: Yeah. I knw. Mom-to-be? Snoozing away in my guest room

Ari: Is he big?

Jinbei: Got a bit of a baby bump. He might be having twins

Ari: Wow. Talk about a handful. Oh I'm sorry dude, I gotta go now. Finals and all. Cya!

Jinbei: Yeah, leave me to fend myself, why dontcha? *sighs n hangs up, then took a cigarette to smoke, giving it some deep thought*

Tora: *woke up from his nap, letting out a roar-like yawn*

Jinbei: Looks like someone's awake

Tora: *rubs his eyes and looks at his boyfriend* Hey Jin. *stood and stretched, his shirt pulling up a bit, showing his belly a bit*

Jinbei: *turns to see the baby bump n blushed a little*

Tora: Did you think it up? And you know I hate it when you smoke, you know that

Jinbei: Fine. I'll smoke somewhere else nxt time. *puts the cigarette up n sigh* I guess I dont hv a choice, do I? I love u, Tora, n if it means helping u with the child n accepting it, I guess I will accept it

Tora: Do you really mean it? I just want you to be there. *wraps his arms around him* We've known each other since high school

Jinbei: Yeah. I remember. Ur the one who came up to me wen no one wants to be friends with me coz of my punk attitude

Tora: And that's why I love you. You have an attitude and you didn't take crap from no one

Jinbei: Heh. Remember the time wen u were in heat n u were chased aftr every hormonal animal in school? Evn the bears were interested in u

Tora: Oh God. *snickers* Don't remind of of that. The principal had to lock everyone up

Jinbei: Tht's coz ur rare. One of those breeds were ur blood is of the highest class. I'm more of the middle class cats, bcoz despite being a lion, I'm actually half-street cat. So yeah

Tora: *wiggles his ears and plants a kiss on his lover's lips*

Jinbei: *kissed him bk gently, tho he didnt want to kiss too deep coz he just smoked*

Tora: I swear...I'm gonna feel more like a whale pretty soon

Jinbei: Tht's the least of ur worries. Ur worries right now r the rivals

Tora: What rivals?? Oh yea... 'those' rivals

Jinbei: Yeah. Those who would be jealous of u being seeded by a middle-class. U r of the highest class, meaning ur the purest of blood with no mix in btwn. Its vry rare. If anyone knws ur having my child, they will not hesitate to make u lose the child so they can impregnate u instead

Tora: That's why I have my sister and you

Jinbei: True enough *leans forward to nip his neck*

Tora: *murrs from the nip, feeling his lover's hand on his stomach, meows at him

Jinbei: *feels the baby bump in his hand* Mmh, I cant believe our kittens r growing in there

Tora: *Smiles and pulled his shirt up, giving Jinbei a better view of his stomach* They sure are.

Jinbei: *leaned dwn to nuzzle it* Heh, it feels so warm

Tora: *rubbed the top of his stomach with his other hand on his side, smiling down at his boyfriend*

Jinbei: Wht do u think they may be? Male? Female? One of each?

Tora: As long as they're health and good, it doesn't matter to me

Jinbei: I'm hoping for both to be males. Call me old-fashioned, bt I prefer our first-borns to be boys
