Death Note: The OCs (Part 11)

*6 years pass by...Near and Henry, (who has now taken the alias of Hiro Hikari) have formed the SPK, a group formed to catch Kira without L's aid*

*Hiro takes a headset and makes direct contact with the Task Force in Japan, led by Light Yagami (Who took over as the 2nd L) and his father, Soichiro*

Light: L speaking *using a voice distortion device like L did*

H: Greetings, L Number 2

Light:: *thinks: L Number 2?* Who is this?

H: Don't try to hide it....I'm from the SPK, a task force formed to catch Kira without your help...and we all know about L's death. And I'm the leader, along with another...you may call me Hiro...or H

Near: *sitting on the floor next to H, listening in to the conversation via headset*

Light: I see. And may I know who is the other?

H: *flips a coin and catches it, looks to Near and nods his head to talk*

Near: I am the other leader. Call me N

H: As I said earlier, we no longer require your help to catch Kira. That means in the US...the CIA, FBI, etc...are under our juristiction *notices a strange silence* Are you okay, L?

Light: *thinks: Who does this arrogant person think he is?* I understand, but understand that our NPA forces have been investigating on the case ever since it began. And if I recall, the previous L was the one who offered his help. If I must speak boldly, I think you were the one helping, not the other way round. We never requested it

H: Well, since both our groups are seeking to catch Kira...we should cooperate on the situation

Light: Yes, that I agree

Near: We will show each other's findings whenever we have it via emails and phonecalls. We will contact each other should anything comes up to keep each other updated. Agreed?

Light: Agreed

H: *disconnects the call* I don't like this L...his progress is pitiful

Near: I know. The killings just gets worse and worse and yet he is always a step behind in capturing Kira

H: Something about this L doesn't seem right...

Near: You think so too? *playing with his robot toy*

H: Yes

*Various events pass by..Mello kidnaps Sayu Yagami ransom for the Death NOte and Soichiro gives it to Mello and the Mafia...*

*The Task Force and the SPK both meet at the Warehouse...Hiro and Near are wearing L masks, to protect themselves*

Light: Wh...What? What's going on here? Why is everyone here? *surrounded by the NPA forces led by Aizawa and Matsuda*

Ryuk: *notices the situation and knew it was going downhill* This should be good

*Takes his mask off, revealing himself to Light* Game over, Kira

*The NPA brings in Mikami, who had the death note and sees Light*

Mikami: GOD!! Help me!

Near: *takes his mask off too* You have lost. We have figured everything out *explains the whole details of the investigation*

Light: *shook his head* No! You have no idea what you're talking about *points at Mikami* I don't even know this man!

H: I think you do know him...Near, the Death Note

Near: *gestures one of the team members to pass it to him, then passes the Death Note to H*

H: *Takes the Death note from Near and opens it * As you can see...all the SPK members and The Task force members are written in here...except for one...*points his finger at Light* Light Yagami...you were the only one whose name wasn't written in the book.

Light: So? That doesn't prove anything! That doesn't prove that I'm Kira!

H: That...and Mikami called you "God" earlier.

Light: He's delusional! I have no idea who he is!

H: However, this is the crucial part of the notebook...*points to it. It's a line, showing Takada's name and how she died...one minute after Light wrote it*

Light: *thinks to himself: Shit! That idiot! That fucking idiot! He took matters into his own hands! That fucking idiot!* *glares at Mikami venomously*

Mikami: *thinks: But...I thought you couldn't make any moves!*

H: You see, Light Yagami, no...Kira...It was because of Mello's bold move, we were able to get you convicted with hard evidence...as L's heir, and with the help of Mello and Near, I was able to surpass my successor with evidence he never had!

Light: L's heir? Who do you think you are?! L's heir?! you're nothing but a idiotic immature brat who thinks he's got everything under control, but I am! I am the one in control of this situation! No one but me! *looks around at his shocked team* Guess the gig is up then *laughs evilly* That's right, I. Am. Kira. The rightful God of this pitiful world. A world that needed to be cleansed from its bloody sins

H: No...you are just a mass murderer with a god complex...and the Death Note...*holds it up like L* is the most dangerous weapon in the world.

Light: The world is filthy, L or H or whoever you are! Don't you see? There are ppl out there spreading their disease all over the world, making it so rotten and so filthy, we can't even breathe in it! Look how I've changed the world! Look how much good I've done! Look how orderly it is now! Even the government approves my work as law and religion! *grins evilly* You need me, H. You need me just as much as you need food and water. You need a God to cleanse this world and guide it to the right path, the true utopian of Heaven. And only I can do it!

H: Only because their leaders are weak and afraid of you...Despite all your efforts, killing is still wrong...and you're lower than them...

Light: I'm not lower than anyone, I am higher than anyone can ever imagine. You'll see soon enough *prepares to write H's name in the note piece in his watch*

Matsuda: *fires a shot at Light's hand, stopping him from writing down H's name* I won't let you do this Light! Remember what your dad did!

Light: My dad? You mean Yagami Soichiro? He had it coming. He had been useful while it lasted. I have nothing to say about him.

Matsuda: How could you!? He gave all he had for us! And you're saying he died for nothing!

Light: He was weak. He didn't see the vision I had. But he has served his purpose. He had done his job for his God. There's nothing I can do for him now.

H: *notices that Light is continuing to right his name down*

Matsuda: *shoots Light a few more times, not killing him, but injuring him*

Light: *yells in pain and falls over to the floor* You shit! You little shit! What the fuck are you doing?!

Ryuk: *watches everything quietly*

Light: *crawls away, struggling to breathe* You may have got me, but I still have the cavalry. Ryuk! Hurry! Write down their names! Kill them! Kill them all!

Near: *sits there watching, not the least bit disturbed by this*

H: Don't panic anyone...it won't happen...

Ryuk: *didn't do anything for a while, then raises his book and his pen*

Aizawa: Stop, Ryuk! *fires shots at him*

Light: You will all die! you will all die by the hands of your God! Do it, Ryuk! Do it! Write their names and kill them all!

Matsuda: STOP!! *fires also at Ryuk*

Ryuk: I'll write a name alright *scribbles on the note* Your name

Light: Wh...What...? Why? Why?!

H: *isn't surprised, after reading the rules of the Death Note*

Ryuk: I was hoping to see how you're gonna get out of this situation, but you leaned on me. You're finished. But we did get rid of each other's boredom, didn't we? I enjoyed it while it lasted

Light: No! NO! This is not what I wanted! This is not supposed to happen! I don't want to die!!! I'm a God! I can't die!!!

H: You're no God, Light Yagami...Gods don't cower nor do they die

Ryuk: I've told you before, Light. When the time comes, it will be me who writes your name on the book and the time is now. If you were sent to jail, who knows when ur gonna die. I'm not gonna wait that long. C'mon, chin up, Light. It's not like you at all. After all, everyone is equal in death

Light: *screams and struggles for the remaining seconds, until he finally dies*

H ;*shakes his head in pity for Light8 Checkmate...*taking the death note*

Near: *lowers his head, his fringe covering his eyes, but he was actually crying*

H: *doesn't feel any pity or remorse for Light. he kneels by Near* We did it

Near: Thank god...*wipes his tears* I thought I could never avenge Mello...Kira took him away from me...The only person I've ever loved...even if he doesn't return it...

H: *hugs Near close* I know how you feel...Kira took away the man I loved...*refering to L*

Near: Mello always thought that L loved me more, and I know Mello loves L much more than he would ever love me, and he thinks I don't have the emotion capable enough to even love, but I never stopped loving, never stopped caring for him...

H: I know what you mean, Near...but... I loved L too...even though I met him once....

Near: You too? That makes two of us. Well, three if you count Mello *gets up and picks up his toys* Let's go back to the hotel. I'm tired

H: Okay...*heads back to the hotel with Near
