Ebony&Ivory-Chapter 21

Luke: *starts to get himself ready for the concert*

Anita: * helps Illust to get dressed*

Luke: *adjusts his headset*

*all the crew made sure everything was ready n in plc, while the crazy screaming fans were out there, hollering for their idol*

Luke: *goes and gets into place*

Illust: *stands together with the bk-up singers, a little nervous*

Luke: *videos play on the screen and before they know it, BAM! Luke jumps out and stands tall, looking to the crowd, wearing a street-biker outfit*

*the crowd went wild like banshees*

Illust: *tries to resist the urge of covering her ears. She had nvr seen so much ferocity in a real audience*

Luke: *does a spin* Let's start this! *The band starts to play Start The Party*

*the fans started cheering n singing along while the dancers n back-up singers did their thing*

Luke: You know what to do, Just start the Party!

*some fans were already fainting*

Illust: *got her first view of real-life audiences fainting*

*The song ends, the audience screaming their heads off*

Illust: *as the lights dimmed for the nxt song, she took the opportunity to hv a small drink of water before preparing for the nxt song*

Luke: How are you doing?!

*the audience screamed*

Luke: Say Hey!

Audience: HEY!!!

Luke: Oh!

Audience: OH!!!

Luke: ow!! *takes his jacket off and hands it to a crew member*

Audience: OW!! *cheers like crazy*

*The band then kicks into Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'*

*the audience screamed n bobbed their heads to the music*

Luke: So you wanna be startin' somethin', got to be startin' somethin', wanna be startin' somethin'

Illust-chan: *sang along with the back up singers*

*audience sang n bobbed along with him*

Luke: ...so they call her mouth a motor!

*the crowd goes wild, some trying to go forward bt held bk by the guards, while others faint*

Luke: *In the middle of the song, they stop, Luke and the dancers staying still*

*the audience go wild, egging him on, jumping up n dwn like mad*

Luke: *taps his foot* IF you can't feed your baby...then don't have a baby...

*the audience sang along with him, cheering as well*

*Soon, the song ends*

*the audience chanted Luke's name*

Luke: Okay, we're gonna take it down a bit...this is from the new album, it's called Shadows. *A slow R&B melody starts to play*

*the audience cheered for the song before they die dwn to listen to the song*

Luke: *is playing at the piano, singing the song*

*the audience held their hands up n swayed side to side along the beat*

Luke: You're lost..in the shadows...

Illust: *provided the second voice along with the backup singers*

Luke: *plays gracefully on the piano*

*some fans started crying frm the wonderful music*

Luke: Shadows...*finishes up the song*

*the audience clapped n cheered*

*aftr a moment, the song "Together" tht Luke had asked Illust to practice played out*

Luke: *starts to sing*

*the spotlight was aiming at him first, then a second spotlight aimed at Illust wen its her turn to sing, with the crowd looking both surprised and wild*

Luke: Ladies and gentleman, Illust Presley-Oliva

*the crowd went wild, clapping their hands*

Illust: *was overwhelmed n almost forgot her lines*

Luke: *continues to play*

Illust: *sang along with Luke at the chorus part*

Luke: *pretty soon, the song wraps up* Thank you! Give it up for Illust

*the audience clapped n cheered*

Illust: *blushes as she made a bow*

Luke: Okay. This next set of songs...are going out to a family that's been there for me since I lost mine...*he's joined by his dancers, I Want You Back starts to play. They do the routine that the J5 did*

*the audience cheered n clapped along with the beat*

Illust: *returns to the group of backup singers n sang along*

Luke: Oh baby give me one more chance....Won't you please let me back...I was blind to let you...now I see you in his arms...I want you back!

*a few more fans faint in the mid song*

Luke: *It quickly transitions to ABC*

*the security guards still tries to hold bk the crowd tht threatens to move forward*

Luke: ABC...easy as 1-2-3...Simple as do-rei-mi...ABC...123...baby you and me, girl!

Illust: *sang along with him, moving together with the backup singers, altho a little overwhelmed at the crowd*

Luke: *does a spin and the song goes to The Love You Save.*

*the crowd sang n danced along with it*

Luke: *The music starts slow down.* This is for all of you...*clears his throat* You and I...must make a pact...we must bring salvation back...When there is love, I'll be there

Illust: *sang along with backup singers* I'll be there~

*the crowd swayed their arms side to side*

Luke: I reach out...my hand to you...I have faith...in all you do...when you need me...I'll be there

*most of the crowd was crying*

Luke: *near the end, Luke falls to his knees, and covers his face. On the screen, are pics of him and his godfather*

*the crowd cries n cheered for Luke*

Luke: I will be....there...

Illust: *sang tht last line with the backup singers*

*the crowd went wild*

Luke: *Bows* Thank you! *heads offstage to change*

*the crowd goes wild, some managed to break past the security guards bt were caught bk in or taken away, others faint more*

Illust: *gives Luke some water* Man tht was CRAZY!

Luke: Tell me about it! *takes his shirt off and gets his new clothes on*

*An hour passes by, the concert is near its last two songs*

*The set looks like an old abandoned city, on the screens are scenes of the Earth*

Luke: What about sunrise...what about rain...what about all the things that you said we were to gain. *he comes out, wearing clothes as if he's from a war-torn country*

Illust: *got prepared, dressed in her rags*

Luke: *leads the chant* What about yesterday?! What about the seas? The Heavens are falling down...I can't even breathe!

*Illust came out with the other singers in their rags, looking pained n suffering, while the bkground was a firey forest n all the disasters of the world*

*Near the end of the song, two miltary humvees and a tank come out of nowhere, Luke runs out and blocks them, as if he's protecting the audience*

*the vehicles stopped, n jumped out a soldier with his M16, pointing his gun at everybody*

Luke: *just stands there, watching the soldier*

*in cue, Illust came up to the soldier, bt in their script, there is a minor deviation frm MJ's style in which before Illust could take out the flower, the soldier "shot" her, then in her "dying breath" she held up the flower to the soldier before she "dies", then the soldier was shocked n wailed as he hugged Illust's "dead body"*

Luke: *as part of the act, Luke walked to the soldier, kneels down and pats him on the shoulder, forgiving him for his action*

*the audience cried at the scene, some cheering n clapping for the stunning performance*

Luke: *He goes and picks up Illust and goes off with her, with everyone else following behind*

*light irised out n the audience cheered n clapped, screaming Luke's name*

Luke: *he comes back out in the same outfit, sitting down at the piano, performing his signature song for last...Ebony and Ivory*

*the audience cheered to be able to see him again, more fainting*

Luke: *during the end, he extends it for performance purposes...doing piano solos*

*the audience swayed to the music, some singing along with him*

Luke: *begins his solos on the piano, his fingers never tiring*

*the audience cheered him on*

Illust: *amazed at wht he could do*

Luke: *he finishes the final notes and gets up* Thank you all! I love you, Seattle! *waves for Illust to come up*

Illust: *does so, waving to the audience*

*the audience cheered, whooped, n whistled, calling Luke n Illust's name, flashing their cameras at them*

Luke: Give it up for my niece and my new back-up vocalist...Illust Presley-Oliva!

*the audience whistled, chanting her name*

Illust: *feels a little awkward with all the attention, bt takes it all the same, smiling, bowing n waving to them*

Luke: *names out all his band* all at once, bow...1...2...3! *All of his band bow*

*loud cheers n clapping ensued*

Luke: Good night! *leaves the stage with his band*

*all the audience screamed, not wanting him to go, the security guard was having a hard time trying to keep them at bay. Then suddenly one managed to sneak past the guards, climbed upstage n glomp Luke*

Illust: *shocked* Woah!

Luke: Ack!!

Tom: *as he is part-drummer-part security guard, he n the others pulled the fan away*

Anita: *brought Luke close to her* U OK, darling?

Luke: Yea I'm fine. thank god I...ah! *feels his arm in pain*

Illust: *rushed to him* U OK? Wht's wrong?

Luke: My arm...my right arm

Anita: *chked his arm*

Luke: *winces*

Illust: Wht's wrong with his arm, Anita?

Anita: Looks like the fan accidentally scraped u deep when she glomped u. Could be she's wearing a ring or something. *groans* She evn took ur coat

Luke: *calls security to find the girl immediately* Now I know how Michael felt

Anita: Yeah I knw. Oh, its just a coat, darling. Let her have it. She can worship tht coat all she like n let her worry abt other ppl trying to steal it frm her

Luke: You don't understand. That was a gift from Uncle Jermaine

Anita: Oh my. Then we better get it bk

Luke: *turns around and sees the girl* Oh hello

Girl: *squeals* L-L-Luke~!!! A-A-Am I in trouble? Sorry I glomped u bt...

Luke: But what?

Girl: I just had to get to u. I just had to be face to face to u, evn for a moment. Reli sorry

Luke: No biggie. May I have my coat back? It's a gift from my uncle

Girl: Wht...? Bt...Bt... *holding the coat tightly, a little reluctant to give it bk*

Luke: Please, he had it made for me. If you want one... I'll get one ordered for ya. With your name on it

Girl: O_O U...U...U reli do tht for me~?

Luke: I will. *calls the place* Hello, Initials and Engravings? I would like a black leather coat with the name...*covers the mouthpart* name dear?

Girl: N...Natasha. Natasha Yearne

Anita: Ur address as well, luv, so we can send the coat ovr

Girl: *told them the address*

Luke: *gives them the address and the name*

Girl: *got so excited tht she fainted*

Illust: *giggled humorously*

Luke: Thank you. *hangs up* It'll be ready tomorrow

Girl: *didnt reply, she was so excited tht she fainted*

Illust: *giggled*

Luke: *calls the medics*

Anita: Oh boy *watches as the medics took her away n took the coat she dropped* Here ya go, darling

Luke: *puts it on* Ah that's better.

Anita: *smiles*

Illust: *clapped* Nice as always

Luke: Thanks. Shall we get on the bus?

Illust: Lets' go~! I'm bushed

Anita: We all deserve some rest

Luke: And I'm famished

Tom: Lets go to tht Italian restaurant. Just a few blocks away

Luke: And hope we don't get mobbed

Illust: Keep our fingers crossed then
