Kiba: *is one month away from his due day. He resting with his fiance, Ellokh aka Elly*

Elly: *has Kiba sitting on his lap. strokes his fiance's belly* I'm so excited for our babies. I can't wait for them to come

Kiba: So am I. ^^ I'm glad Uncle Kita how to breathe and push.

*Kita just sits by the lake, throwing rocks into it...thinking about why Kalana and Melly are faking their conditions...*

Melly: Hey, Kita-san *still faking it so that no one else but Kita knws*

Kita: Hey Melly...*smiles at him, whispering* how's your mom doin?

Melly: He's fine. Although the pregnancy is making him feel drained

Kita: DAmn it...wish I could do something about it...But...*he's idling rubbing his middle, which is kinda small, but almost noticable*

Melly: He made the contract with the Lord of the Dead, in exchange for bringing him back to life. There's nothign we can do

Kita: I Just wish...I could've made that wish instead...

Melly: *notices something about Kita* Are you...Are you what I think you are right now?

Kita: What, Melly? *looks at his nephew*What do you think I am right now?

Melly: I dunno...Pregnant, maybe?

Kita: You're too smart. Yes I am

Melly: Not reli that smart. Experience staring at Mom gives me the edge. Wow, ur pregnant again? Aren't those twins enough a handful?

Kita: Not really.. ^^ They're so grown up now

Melly: *chuckles* Neways, Mom didn't make the wish to be alive. The Lord of the Dead took it to himself to bring him back to life because he had been watching his soul for sometime and had a crush on him, then he wants to have an heir and can't do that with his dead clans, u knw, being dead and all, so he brought him back to life and made him do a pact with him. A life for a life

Kita: Jeez. *stands up, stretching, his stomach more noticable to Melly* Well, shall we head back?

Kiba: *huggles Elly* ^^

Melly: *nods, then suddenly gets glomped by the twins*

Kita: Raito and Kito!

Raito&Kito: Melly-chaaaaaaaaan~!!!

Melly: Hey, guys

Kita: Nani o shite iru no? *Kita asks his boys*

Raito&Kito: Nanda mo nai yo, okasan.

Kita: What am I going to do with you boys?

Raito&Kito: Marry us to Melly, that's what *in a joking tone*

Kita: Not until you two are of age.

Raito&Kito: Nyeh~! *giggles then showers Melly with butterfly kisses on his cheeks*

Kita: Boys...*taps his foot*

Melly: *giggles* Let's go, Raito, Kito. It's our turn to gather fruits for the day, remember?

Raito&Kito: Hai! *gladly sits on Melly's shoulders as they left*

Kita: *sighs heavily* What am I gonna do with those boys *winces, his ankles swollen and aching* Ow *notices a shadow over him and looks up* Hey Nakh

Nakh: Hey, Kita. How's it hanging?

Kita: Good. Just...can't get up right due to my ankles. And it seems Melly found out about my condition

Nakh: Don't strain yourself *picks Kita up and puts him on his shoulder* So, any luck for Melly remembering anything about us?

Kita: *decides to lie* No, no luck so far. OOof. *rubs his stomach again*

Nakh: Baby kicking?

Kita: Not yet. Im not even showing yet...well barely...

Rai: *sighs heavily as he cooks his recent catch over a fire*

Kal: You alright, Rai? *brings more firewood*

Rai: A little. Just surprised I found out Im gonna be a father again

Kal: O_O Reli?? Congrats! But you don't seem so excited

Rai: Cause I don't want what happened last time to happen again to him

Kal: What happened last time? *pretending not to rememebr*

Rai: *tells Kalana of the story of Kita going out into the storm, injuring himself...meeting Nakh and Kalana for the first time...him having the twins 2-3 months early* And that's it.

Kal: Reli? I...I don't remember that much abt it... *in his heart, he felt nostalgic reminiscing back the old days that they first met*

Rai: I was holding his hand...knowing he was giving birth to the two handsome boys we have now

Kal: *smiles quietly, secretly remembering that one and how they first met Rai*

Kita: Rai!!! *waves his arms in the air*

Rai: Kita! *opens his arms, catching Kita* oof, you're getting a bit heavy

Kita: Hey!

Kal: *chuckles* You guys are funny *sees Nakh, feels a bit awkward and looks away. He's wearing a kimono he bought recently to cover himself because his pregnancy was beginning to show*

Kita: Hey Kal. ^^ How's it going? *sits by him*

Kal: I'm fine, Kita-san *pretending for Nakh's sake* I heard Rai told me you're pregnant again. Congrats! ^^

Kita: *blushes* T-thanks *rubs his stomach* I'm anxious to see this one

Kal: I think it needs more firewood. Help me out? *his eyes hinting to Kita that he wants to speak to him privately*

Kita: Sure thing. *Gets up and follows Kalana*

Kal: *makes sure they were far away from the others before talking* Kita, my belly is beginning to show. Sooner or later everyone will know I'm knocked up

Kita: That's when I have this...*pulls out a kimono from his bag* Here. I made it for you. When you wear it, your belly won't show

Kal: Reli? Thanks. A magical kimono or something?

Kita: Exactly ^^

Kal: I dunno how it works, but most probably I would be giving birth two months later according to what the Death lord said. And...he said he will be there when the time comes...

Kita: We'll arrange somewhere for you to have the baby

Kal: No. I'm going to give birth myself. Melly will help me. You don't have to trouble yourself. After I give birth, I will leave this plc

Kita: No Kalana...I'm not giving up on you...you're like a brother to me...Please...

Kal: I dunno...I've caused enough trouble as it is for everyone. It's best that you hear the last of me

Kita: DEATH!!! I Want to speak with you!

Kal: You can't call him just like that

Kita: I want to speak to him

Kal: *shakes his head* He won't just see you calling him like that. And please, this is my burden to bear. Don't get involved

Kita: I want to! I maybe stubborn...*tears fall from his eyes* I don't give on those who those who are dear to me!

Kal: *sighs* Alright. Tomorrow night is a full moon. He always visits me on a full moon to chk on the baby. You can tag along if you want

Kita: Thank you ^^

*The next night....Kita goes with Kalana to meet Death*

Death: How is my child, dear one?

Kal: He's fine

Death: *sees Kita* And who's this? I thought we were supposed to keep our affair private

Kal: Sorry. He insisted on coming. I can't stop him. He knws Melly and I are faking amnesia

Kita: I want to stop Kalana from leaving the clan!

Death: Can't help you on that. He chooses to leave. I don't make the rules. I'm just here to take my baby after he's born. Whatever Kal does after the birth is none of my business

Kita: *Realizes it and wants to do his best ot make him stay* Death...I wanna ask...how are my and Kyo's grandparents?

Death: They're next in line to be reincarnated as common human villagers *feels Kal's belly*

Kita: Human villagers? Will I recognize 'em...*rubs his belly*

Death: Nope *listens in to Kal's belly*

Kal: When exactly will I give birth?

Death: Oh, probably the nxt two, three full moon later. I'll be there when that happens. None of my impregnating on my previous wives ever work. Lord of the Dead, suppose to kill things, not give life. Lame nature

Kita: Heh...I can see...*starts coughing*

Kal: You alright, Kita?

Kita: I'm fine...*coughs again, then he looks to see blood* What? No...it's acting up again

Kal: OMG, Kita! Death! What's wrong with him?!

Kita: I...I have a condition...that I have trouble breathing or mostly, cough up blood...I've had it since I was a kid

Death: Hm, don't worry. That's not reli life-threatening. Just a little bit of bad setting in the breathing area. You'll still live long before I come collect you

Kita: How much longer?

Death: Can't tell you that. Breach of rules. You're not supposed to know your death 3 days before the due date. That's the time when I'll be visiting you again

Kita: I don't plan on dying so young. Besides, I have a family...a husband and two kids and a clan to take care of...and him too *refering to Kalana*

Death: Good thinking. All I can say is your lifeline is still as long as Nile River. You won't have to worry leaving so soon

Kal: *winces as the baby kicked in him* Ow

Kita: Kalana? Did it move?

Death: Sorry. Is my baby being too strong? That's my little baby

Kal: Yeah. The sucker has a killer kick

Kita: Lemme see

Death: *sees the moon covered by the clouds* Time to go. Dying ppl to visit, duty calls. I'll see you next month, dear one *kisses Kal on the forehead*

Kal: *nods quietly and watches Death disappear*

Kita: *is blushing red in the face* Hehe ^^;; Let's head back...eh-hehehe

Kal: Yeah *walks on* You think I should've met Death instead of Nakh. Not that I'm in love with him or anything, but at least with him, I'm not exactly breaking any taboos. Nakh and I wouldn't have been in this mess. And he seems to genuinely like me...

Kita: Him...pfft...cmon, he's Death. What can do when you're in the mood?

Kal: I dunno. I remember floating ard in some abyss then he approached me and said he liked me and was sorry to see me so sad. He said he can bring me back to life so that I could go back to Nakh under one condition, that he's allowed to knock me up

Kita: Please...tell him the truth, everything that's happened to you...it isn't yours or Nakh's fault. Besides, you're one of my best friends. Cmon

Kal: I can't. I can't. It would only hurt him. I'm carrying someone else's child, for gods sake! I let someone else other than Nakh bed me! It would break his heart!

Kita: Promise me this...after you have that shinigami's baby...tell the truth to Nakh, please

Kal: *considers, then sighs* Alright...I will. But I can't promise I'll stay. This is too much guilt for me to bear

Kita: Hey...I wasn't there to protect you...I should've been there *a few tears fall*

Kal: Now that *puts his hands on his shoulders* was not your fault. We chose to leave when my villagers decided to dishonour the pact and hunt me dwn. We had to leave. It was only a matter of time before they found me and killed me. Nakh took the worst blow. He was out hunting when it happened. I forced Elly to run, but they killed me and took Melly away frm me. Melly told me that after my ppl took him away, he was sexually abused almost everyday. When they found no use of him, he sold him to Nakh's clan, in which they did the same thing my ppl did to him. It was a miracle Melly escaped with barely his life. And I;m grateful that the Amazon women found him

Kita: *looks down* You don't get it...I broke my personal vow..when that happened...the minute you were killed...I...I...I transformed again

Kal: You...You did? Oh god, did anyone get hurt?

Kita: Yes...I killed your killers. A few days after that, I was suicidal

Kal: Oh dear...

Kita: I almost jumped off the cliff we used to hang out at. I couldn't handle it...you're such a dear friend

Kal: Who stopped you?

Kita: N-Nakh, Elly and Rai

Kal: Oh? What did they do? Details, details

Kita: Well...

*flashes back to that day*

*Kita walks to the cliff where he and Kalana hung out at. He looks to the setting sun8 Kalana...I'm coming...

Elly: *he is abt 5 yrs old at the time, was taking Raito and Kito out to play* Uncle Kita?

Kita: Elly...please...turn around...I don't want you to see this

Elly: What you doing?

Kita: I'm going to join your mom

Elly: No! No, no, no! *grabs Kita's sleeves*

Nakh: *was looking for Elly when he sees them* Guys, what are you doing there?

Kita: Let me go, Elly!! PleasE!!!

Rai: *Sees them* what's going on?

Kita: Rai...*cries, pushing Elly off of him, heading towards the cliff*

Rai: Kita!! *runs after him*

Elly: *cries*

Nakh: Kita! What the hell are you doing?!

Kita: What does it look like?! Im ending here and now!

Nakh: Why? Why would you want to do that? You knw that suicide is stupid!

Kita: I let Kalana die!! I killed his killers...I broke my vow!

Nakh: No you didn't! You didn't let Kal die! I did! I was supposed to be there for him and yet I failed him! He made me promise not to harm his ppl, but after they killed him, I wiped out his entire village. I should the one breaking the vow!

Kita: I'm sorry....*prepares to jump*

Rai: *grabs Kita's hand*

Kita: What are you doing Rai, let me go!

Rai: You can't do this!!

Nakh: Yeah! Don't do this! This is crazy! It's my fault! My guilt to bear, not yours!

Kita: *starts to cry, giving up his suicide...* I'm sorry...

Nakh: You think Kal would want you to end up like this? He had never blamed you. If there is anyone to blame is his ppl, and I made sure they were extinct *his eyes were angry and blood-red*

*flashes back to the present*

Kita: And that's what happened, Kal

Kal: My death reli left a lasting impact on you guys huh?

Kita: It did...and I don't want to lose you again...neither of us do, Kal

Kal: After what I did, betraying Nakh's love and have this *rubbing his belly* I don't think I deserve to stay here

Kita: Hey...you didn't betray him...it wasn't your fault *holds Kalana's hand* You're my best friend...no matter what you do

Kal: You've always been my best friend *hugs Kita and cries*

Kita: *hugs him, patting his back* Please...stay after this whole thing is over with

Kal: *sobs* Please don't tell Nakh I'm pregnant with Death's child. I promise I'll stay, but pls don't tell him I have someone else's child...

Kita: Just keep the robe on, okay?

Kal: *nods, then winces* Ow!

Kita: Whoa! What's the matter?

Kal: Just another kick. I swear he's having karate lessons in there or something

Kita: May I see?

Kal: Sure *parts his kimono to reveal his belly*

Kita: *places his hand on Kal's bare stomach, waiting for movement*

Kal: *the baby kicked* Mmh! >_o

Kita: O_O JEez!! oof O_O M-mine kicked too

Kal: Guess our babies are making friends

Kita: I guess so ^^
