Talic: *nods and lifts the covers to look at her* You are quite dilated...

Talic: 8softly* You are early... Don't push yet.. Youare dilated but not enough...

Talic: I have delivered too many babies to count...

Marie; 8gripped Vic's hand tightly8

Vic: *holds her hand, stroking it carefully with his claws*

Talic: *gently* resist the urge to push now...

Marie; 8tries her best8

Talic: *gently* You're doing well... almost. Breathe.

Marie; 8pants, her body sweating like mad8

Vic: *kisses her cheek again* Honey you can do this... it's ok.

Talic: There you are I have the head. give me one more big push. good girl.

Talic: *gently pulls as she bears down, helping to get the shoulders out and with the widest part of the baby now out of her the rest slides out easily* There good girl! *catches the child in his arms cleaning the viral baby carefully with a clean cloth, first off clearing the mouth and nose*

Vic: *looks up* You did it Marie! You did it.. *nuzzles her*

Marie; 8collapses on the bed, exhausted8

talic: *once he's made sure the child is ok he checks the gender*

Talic: It's a girl. *smiles as she starts to cry* With a healthys et of lungs at that...

Vic: 8smiles* marie... we have a girl...She's beautiful...

Marie; 8weeps with joy8

Talic: *brings her closer* Beautiful indeed... *smiles as he gently lays her in her mother's arms, Marie still needs to pass the afterbirth but for the moment she can rest.*

Marie; 8held her daughter tenderly8 She is beautiul.

Vic: *smiels* Sheis... *kisses Marie lovingly on the forehead*

*The little one blinked up at her parents focusing her eyes8

Marie; 8nuzzled him and looked at their daughter8

Vic:*smiles warmly, tears in his eyes*

Vic : *softly* What shall we name her?

Marie; How about Desiree?

Vic: *smiles* It's beautiful, fitting name.

Marie; 8nodded, kissing her daughter's forehead*

Talic: *gently* Your body will be ready to pass the afterbirth soon Marie.

Marie; 8nods, handing Vic their daughter8

Vic: * carefully cradles her, purring to her*

Desiree; 8looks up at him8

Vic: 8smiling* Hey there my baby girl.

Desiree; 8cooed softly, reaching to him8

Vic: *moves his face closer to her*

Desiree: *reached up and grabbed his nose*

Vic: 8chuckles and lets her, kissing her littl ehand*

talic: *gently coaches her through passing the afterbirth*

Marie; *pushes the after birth out and lays back on the bed8

Talic: *takes care of it* Is there anything special you generally do with this?

Marie: 8shook her head8

talic: *nods* I'll take care of it. Would you mind terribly if I cleaned you up a bit?

Marie; 8blushed8

Talic: I promise I will do nothing inappropriate and if you would feel more comfortable if I did not you need only say.

Marie; 8nodded slowly8

Talic: 8proceeds to getnly clean her up, using a solution, not alcohol of course, but not water either, normally he would have simply licked her clean as he does with others in the past but he feels somehow that that would not be appreciated at this time*

Marie; 8lays back against the pillows8

Talic: *is gentle and thorough, even cleaning up the sheets*

Marie; 8looked at her husband and daughter, smiling8

Vic: 8is purring lovingly to the child and smiles up at Marie with tears in his eyes*

Talic: *smiles softly* I promised Thrax I would give him an update... Shall I let you be the one to tell him it's a girl?

Marie; Yes we should tell him the wonderful news.
