Refuged Love-Chapter 22

Severus went in after them. "You didn't tell me where we where going."
He hissed at Remus.

Remus: Walls hv ears, Severus. Just follow me *went dwn the winding paths n into a dingy-looking apartment, which he went up to the 3rd floor n pounded on the door with his feet*

Voice: Yeah, yeah, yeah, comin' *opens the door to reveal a female warlock with alternate locks of silver in her chocolate brown hair* Ah, Remy boy, wht brings u here?

Severus looked around taking in every little detail. He didn't feel right here.

Remus: Dame, my cub here has an accident, his baby is in danger, help us out here

Dame: Uh-huh, well wat's in it for me?

Remus: Name ur price, just save my cub's child

Dame: A'ight, a'ight, bring 'im here

Severus followed them in but didn't say anything, he just stayed close to Harry, wanting to put his hand on Harry's shoulder to comfort him.

Dame: *takes charge of Harry n lay him on the bed, sniffing abt* Hmm, well, whoevr gave him potions to stop the bleeding did the right thing. The baby is a fighter. I'll see if we can get it bk into shape n save it *whipped out her wand n chanted some spells*

Harry: *was a little nervous n reached his hand for Severus tearfully* Ma...S...Snape...

Severus nodded but didn't say anything, just squeazing his hand.

Remus: How is it, Dame?

Dame: Shush! Ur breaking my concentration, Remy boy. Be patient, ur cub will be fine. Just lemme do my job *chanted more spells n waved the wands feverishly*

Severus looked at Remus then back to the woman, bit his lip with worry.

Harry: *whimpered as he felt all kinds of sensation in his middle frm where the medi-witch was casting the spells, until she finally stopped n patted his middle in satisfaction*

Dame: There, all done. All u need now is to be bedridden for at least a week n it'll be fine *sniffed a bit* Yup, nice n strong. Ur cub will pull thru

Severus stopped from smiling. He would celibrate later. "What sort of payment does she want." Severus asked Remus.

Remus: I'll ask *turns to her* So Dame, wht do I owe u?

Dame: Oh, its gonna cost u. I'm gonna need to restock my supplies, so u can go chk my supplies n see wht I lack n get them all, n tht'll be the payment

Remus: Some of ur supplies r rare n pricey! Ur robbing us blind, Dame

Dame: Either tht or I undo the spells. Ur choice, Remy boy

"We'll do it." Severus said.

Remus: Severus...

Harry: Pls...just pay it, Remy...I dont wanna lose the baby...pls...

"I can find the money." Severus said,..

Remus: *sighed* Alright. Lets go. Stay here, cub. We'll be right bk with the payment

Harry: *nods n passed out frm the ordeal*

Severus went to the suppy room and took mental note of everything that needed to be replaced.

Remus: Got evrything u need?

"Yes. Half of these can come out of my personal storage. The other half will be pricy but not hard to find. You stay here with Harry while I do get them."

Remus: Alright. Bt be quick. Dame is not a patient person wen it comes to payment

"I will be." Severus left. It was 15 minutes before he returned with everything on his lift.

Dame: Well, ur just in time. I was abt to renegede on the service. Let's see *inspected everything* Hmm, tht'll do. Just remember to give the boy a drop of this in water evry 4 hours n he'll be home free *passed the vial to Remus* Now off u go, outta here *ushered Remus to take Harry away*

Remus: *pocketed the vial n carried Harry out*

Severus walked him back to the floo then flood back to the house. Once they had Serverus took Harry from Remus' arms.

Remus: *passed Severus the vial as well* Well, care to explain to me wht the heck is going on here?

"I don't see how it is any of our business." Severus laid harry down on the couch and pulled a blanket over him.

Remus: I hv the right to knw, since u've been hiding this frm me, n the fact tht u hv knocked up my cub, the young one tht my best friend Sirius has entrusted me to!

"I have not been hiding it. It was Albus that didn't want anyone to know. And for another thing I did not get him pregnant on perpous and it was Harry that wanted the relationship!"

Remus: Him? U must've done something to bewitched him into wanting this relationship. Ur a snarky misanthrope who loves no one bt urself

"I pushed him away, twice! But he was too persistance. Yes, call me what you want but I am not sorry about it now. I love him and he loves me!"

Remus: *somehow detects the truth in his tone n voice tht made him unable to retaliate. He knew deep dwn inside, Sev would not lie unless he absolutely has to. He sighed n sat dwn* How long? How long has he been in ur care?

"Since the summer. He appeared one night after the death eaters attacked his family. Albus thought it would best if Harry was hiding right under The Dark Lords nose."

Remus: The most dangerous plc is the safest plc, huh? *chuckled* Typical old codger to think so highly of Har *meant tht as sarcasm* Wht was tht abt Har calling u Master? U took him as a slave to get bk at him somehow ovr James?

"Not a slave. A domenate, submissive relationship. He agreed to it and there is a safe word. And before you asked no I would not ask him to give himself up to the Dark Lord."

Remus: I wouldnt want him to either. I'd rather tht someone else take care of the Dark Lord rather than hv Harry go there n send himself to his death. Evn more so wen he is now with child

"I know." Severus look back at Harry. "By the way do you know where Draco is? Lucius has been asking me every day if I have seen him."

Remus: Oh, tht's wht I wish to discuss with u abt in the first plc. U see... *told him as much as he could how he n Draco's relationship started

"I knew he was like his father. Lucius was sexual by age 14." He shook his head. "Do you love him?"

Remus: Its not like he wants to be sexual. I was supposed to be his try-out or something bt ended up becoming his husband, remember? *smiled at the question* Yes, of course. I love him with all my heart. He is the one worth it for. I just knw it in my gut instincts

Severus nodded. "So what are you needing my help with?"

Remus: I need to get away. I knw I promised Drake tht I'll take us both somewhere where we'll nvr be found, evr since I killed Rabastian, bt to be honest, I havent reli thought of where. I was hoping u would knw, with ur connections n all

"What about your pack? Wouldn't that work out? They can protect both of you."

Remus: *shook his head* He doesnt like being in the pack. He's not used to holding his tongue n not hving things his way. Me being the beta has to be both, n I dont want him to constantly feel like he's walking on land mines n fearing evry minute tht he mind offend someone, n I especially would not want the Alphas to punish him if he slips up. Its not pretty, u knw tht

Severus nodded. "What about Ireland. I know a small village of only 500 people. I have a hid out there."

Remus: Ireland sounds good. Bt why would u hv a hideout there?

Severus went over to his desk and wrote something down on a paper and brought it back to him. "Memorize it then destroy is."

Remus: *took the paper n read it, using a Memory Enhancement Charm to help him*

"You will be able to find it now. Where is Draco?"

Remus: He's bk at the corporate housing, deciding on wht to pack. I dont think there'll be much, since most of his belongings r at home n the rest r at school. U didnt answer my question. Why would u hv a hideout there? *destroys the paper*

"That is for me to know and for your to never find out. I may send Harry with you." He said, changing the subject. "More is at risk now. He can not distroy the dark lord until after the baby is born."

Remus: *decided not to push it* Well, I doubt Har would agree, since he's seems to be so attached to u right now

"I know, but I worry for him. Greyback maybe coming to the next one and he would smell Harry and the baby."

Remus: *his eye twitch at the name* Fenrir is still ard?

"Yes. He has his own pack now. They are pro Dark Lord."

Remus: *huffed* Makes me glad he dumped me aftr getting bored of me *gets up* Well, I'll be off to tell Drake the good news. Just let me knw wen ur going to bring Har ovr n I'll be there

"I will." He nodded and sat down by Harry.
