To The Power of Three-Chapter 9

Severus was in his old room trying to make it look like a nursery. He was waring a white shirt with the sleves rolled up. He wiped his brow and placed his hand on his stomach. "It is not going to be much, but it yours."

Sirius: *managed to floo thru the fireplc n started walking abt in search of him, tho wen he heard him talking to himself, he quickly made his way up* Sev, there u are! I... *stopped wen he saw the nursery* W...Wht's this?

Severus froze and turned around. "OUT OF MY HOUSE." Severus pushed him out and closed the door. "I told you it was over and I ment it."

Sirius: Hey, wht the...? I dont believe u! There's something ur not telling me! I need to knw the truth! *knocked at the door loudly*

"You don't need to know anything. What I do is my own choice." He frowned and leaned against the door, holding his stomach. "Just get out."

Sirius: *recalled the nursery n the idea soon hit as he stopped knocking so loud, bt still kept his hand there on the door* Ur...Ur pregnant...arent u? Is it...ours?

Severus bit his lip. "I don't know whose it is....That is why I left. A child can not have three parents and I couldn't do it to you and Remus."

Sirius: Severus, u knw no matter wht happens to u, we will love u just the same. Ur pregnant with either of our child, n u r our lover, we cannot be any happier. Why would u want to hide it frm us?

"It might be ours and that would make Remus jealous, or the other way around. Legally we can not get married and who would legally be the father? I will not be called Mom and my child will never call anyone father."

Sirius: I wont nvr be jealous. Regardless whose child is it, u bore them, n I would love them nonetheless, n I'm sure Remus would feel the same too or he wouldnt evn agree to this relationship. Our child can call us father or whtevr he wants to see us as. Pls, Sev, u shouldnt take all the burden to urself, pls...Open the door, Sev...pls...

"I have been on my own since I was 17 I can do it much longer."

Sirius: No. Not now, not evr. I dont want u to be alone again. U've suffered enough since...since You-Knw-Who. I will not allow u to be alone again. WE wont allow it. I want to be part of the child's life. Pls. *knocked the door gently again* Just open the door, pls

Severus sighed and opened the door and walked to middle of the room.

Sirius: *scanned ard the nursery* Could use a little work, bt with me n Remus' help, I'm sure we can handle it. *came close Sev n tentatively reached ovr to caress Sev's little baby bump* How far along r u?

"A month, maybe two. I have yet to go to the doctor. What with my history they may try to do something with my child."

Sirius: Tht wont happen. I hv a family medi-wizard whom our family has trusted for generations. Would u like it if I bring him in for u?

"Would you mind. I don't want to leave here yet."

Sirius: Sure. Shall I tell Remus the good news then?

"I suppose. Do you think he will be happy?"

Sirius: I'm sure he will. Trust me. *leans ovr to kiss him* Wait here, alright? *flooed off*

Severus sat down in the rocing chair his mother use to rock him in.

Sirius: *flooed bk home n the first thing he did was made his way to the woods* Remy? Yo, Remy? U there??

Remus was sitting under a tree. "Hmm?"

Sirius: Hey, I've got good news to tell ya

"What?" Remus didn't open his eyes.

Sirius: Severus is pregnant. With our child. Well, either one of ours, bt still

Remus eyes opened up. "Pregnant. Are you sure?" He asked.

Sirius: *nodded* He was acting weirdly aftr Moony n I had sex with him, n evn tried to break up with us, bt I found out in the end. He's 2, 3 mths pregnant, n he's setting up nursery at his home

"Hmm, I hope Moony didn't harm the baby." He said. "I am still having problems with him. He keeps wanting to come out."

Sirius: Its still ur werewolf phase aftr all. Just letting u knw. Whenevr ur ready n decent, u can come n visit him at Spinner's End. Oh, n Har's marrying Drake

"I knew it. Harry asked me where Lily's ring was two months ago. I was just wondering when he would get to asked him."

Sirius: -_-* U knew all along n u didnt tell me?

Remus chuckled and closed his eyes. "Harry told me not to. He wanted it to be a surpise."

Sirius: Well, I'm definitely surprised, alright. Well, I'm gonna call Figgs, our family mediwizard for Sev. Come to Spinner's End wen ur up n abt, eh?

"I will. I am hoping to have him asleep in maybe another six hours or maybe a day. It take time to make him sleep."

Sirius: Right. Good luck, mate *patted his shoulder before making his way bk home to firecall the mediwizard*

Remus nodded and went back to meditationg.
