Saphire: *smiles playing her music s usually whereever they happen to be*

Thrax: *bit his lip as he made his way over to her*

Saphire: *smiles at him* Hi Thrax

Thrax: *gulped* Good day Sapphire.

Sapphire: how are you thrax? *smiles, pushign her hair out of her face*

Thrax: *twisted his hands* Very well, thank you. *blushes madly*

*The crowd stares at the two while Lily tries her best not to giggle*

Sapphire: *smiles* Well?

Thrax: *takes a deep breath* Sapphire I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner sometime?

Sapphire: 8smiles* Where to?

Thrax: I know a nice resturant in the upper back, the service is good and the food's exquizet.

Sapphire: *smiles* Alright then.

Thrax: *blushes* Say seven tomorrow night?

Sapphire: *smiles* It's a date

Thrax: *blushes* Great. I guess I'll see you then.

Sapphire: *kisses him on the cheek* See you then.

*The crowd applauded them, Lily let out a few whistles*

Thrax: *went redder* I' will. *he walks away swaying a bit as he headed home*

Sapphire playfully smacks her sisters arm as they go back to their music*

Thrax: *staggered into his home with shock on his face*

Ozzy: Dad? You ok?

Thrax: Just can't believe I did it. *collapse to the couch*

Ozzy: what'd you do?

Thrax: *went red again* I managed to ask Sapphire out to dinner.

Ozzy: *smiles* You got a date?

Thrax: 8nods*

Ozzy: Woo! Go dad!

Thrax: *swallowed* I just hope I don't screw this up.

Ozzy: *smiles you'll be fine dad

Thrax: I just want to make this work for us.

Ozzy: *smiles* It'll all work out.

Thrax: Here's hoping.

Ozzy: So when is yoru date?

Thrax: Tomorrow night.

Ozzy: *grins*

Thrax: I'll have to ask Talic if he can keep an eye on you and Northstar.

Ozzy: Awww... how come I need a babysitter? C'mon I can watch Northy.

Thrax: *rested his head on his hands* Ozzy remember what happened the last time you watched her?

Ozzy: ... *softly* Yeah...

Thrax: *nods* Northstar really likes Talic and I know he'll keep you in line*

Ozzy: But why can't he just babysit her and I can watch myself? 8whining*

Thrax: *sighs* Ozzy no offence but I can't leave you unsupervised for too long without causing trouble.

Ozzy: *pouty* Can too... *giggles*

THrax: *massaged his eyes* You always get into trouble one way or another when I'm not around.

Ozzy: Awww... but daddy...

Thrax: No buts, Osmosis.

Ozzy: But...

Thrax: No, Talic will be watching you and Northstar tomorrow night.

Ozzy: Awwww...

Thrax: And I won't hear another word against it.

Ozzy: *trying one more time* Please?

Thrax: No Osmosis and that's final.

Ozzy: Aww... *sulks but gives up*

Thrax: *runs his claws through his dreads* Speaking of Talic, where is he and Northstar?

Ozzy: Kitchen.

Thrax: *got up and walked into the kitchen*

Northstar: *is playing with what's basically some cornstartch and water and talic is making a grilled cheese sandwich for her to eat with some tomatoe soupt which he's also making*

Thrax: *smiled* Hey.

Northstar: Daddy! *goes to him and hugs, the 'gooblix" oddly enough not being somethign terribly messy to play with*

Talic: *smiles and bows as he stirrs the soup one more time* Good afternoon Thrax.

Thrax: *lifts Northstar up and holds her close*

Northstar: *giggles* Uncle talic made soup

Thrax: *smiles* Did he now?

Talic: *chuckles* Indeed. *pours it into a bowl then gets Northstar's grilled cheese*

Thrax: *sets her back down beside the table* Talic can I ask a favour?

Talic: certianly my friend.

Thrax: You wouldn't mind watching Northstar and Ozzy tomorrow night.

Talic: Certianly not. *smiles* I would love to.

Thrax: *smiled* Thank you.

Talic: Got plans tomorrow?

Thrax: *blushes*

Talic: *smiles* I see. I Hope you have a good time

Thrax: I just hope I don't make a fool of myself.

Talic: You won't

Thrax: I mean can we really make this work for us, it's been so long.

Talic: don't worry so much. If it's mean to be it 's mean tot be

Thrax: I hope you're right. *swallowed*

Talic: *hugs him*

Thrax: *hugs him back lightly*

Talic: 8squeezes for a breif moment before letting go*

Thrax: *pats his shoulder then strokes Northstar's hair and goes upstairs for a shower*

Talic: 8smiels and rubs Northstar's head*

Thrax: *came down afterwards wearing only sweat pants*

Talic: Feel better?

Thrax: *nods* Yeah, a hot was what I needed.

Talic: *nods and smiles*

Thrax: *tosses his dreads back, smiling and lifted Norrthstar into his arms before heading back to the living room*

Northstar: *cuddles*

Thrax: *sat down, cradling Northstar in his arms and nuzzled her gently*

Northstar: *nuzzles back and coos*

Thrax: I'll be going out tomorrow honey but your uncle shall be watching you and Ozzy.

Northstar: Oh? Where are you going?

Thrax: *blushed* I'm going on a date tomorrow night.

Northstar: *giggles*

Thrax: You know Eve's recarnation?

Northstar: *smiles*

Thrax: *stroked her hair* I just hope I can do it.

Northstar: Why couldn't you?

Thrax: It's just it's been so long, can I make it work with us?

Northstar: Daddy?

Thrax: Hmmm?

Northstar: how'm I supposed to know? I"m just a kid.

Thrax: *chcukles ruffling her hair* I know but *sighs* I guess I'm just in doubt.

Northstar: *kisses him on the nose* You'll be ok daddy

Thrax: I hope so sweetie. *holds her close* I hope so.

Northstar: *smiles*

Ozzy: *mumbles soemthing about not needing a babysitter*

Northstar: *giggles*

Thrax: *looked at him* Ozzy you know fully well, leaving you alone is asking for a disaster.

Talic: *chuckles* I can see tomorrow evening will be fun. *ruffles Ozzy's hair*

Thrax: Just keep a close eye on him Talic.

Talic: *nods* I will I promise. By the way may I speak with you?

Thrax: *nods* Of course. *sets Northstar on the couch and leads him into the kitchen*

Talic: Thus far I havenot watched them for more than a short while. Since this affair may last a few hours I'd like to discuss the rules and consequences I must have them abide by while in my care... I already knew what they were where Northstar was concerned with her mother however you are a diffrent person and so your rules will be diffrent as I anticipate.

Thrax: *nods* Yes of course. *sits down by the table* Look Talic despite what ever I do, Ozzy has a habit of getting into trouble most of the time when I'm not around.

Talic: *nods* Yes... But he is in general a good boy i have noticed... but he has a youthful impulsiveness

Thrax: Just be careful if he starts fussing a bit.

Talic: *nods* I am a believer in spanking.... however... though I was allowed by Skylight to do so with Northstar... Because they are both your children now I will not presume to do so without your permission.

Thrax: *nods* You have my permission but not too hard and use time out if nesscery.

Talic: 8nods and bows slightly* I thank you for your trust and I will. I promise not to use it unless it's nessicary. Do you mind that my idea of time out is usually sitting quietly on one's bed or in a chair facing the corner?

Thrax: I usually go with the corner myself.

Talic: 8nods* that's my preferred method as well. A simple chair, a teddy bear and a bare corner*

Thrax: *cocked his brow* Teddy bear?

Talic: Northstar used to have a specific teddy bear that would sit in the chair in her 'naughty' corner. I would gague from the manner in which she clutched it when I called her over to me to judge how well she learned her lesson... and how gentle or stern I needed to chide her when I let her out and discussed what she did wrong. After which there would usually be contrite tears and a big hug.

Thrax: *nods* Undeerstandable. Whenever I have to punish Ozzy after his spanking and/or time out, I would always cuddle him afterwards showing that I only do it for his own good and that I love him.

Talic: 8nods and smiles* I promise to be no less gentle with them while they are under my care. I bear no grudges toward fledglings for any reason...

Thrax: *smiled* Thank you my friend.

Talic: *smiles back*

Thrax: *got up and stretched* Is that all you wish to discuss?

Talic: *nods* I wish to be clear on what my boundaries are. as much as I love them they are your children.

Thrax: I know but you are Northstar's godfather and in a way makes you part of the clan.

Talic: I take that as an expression of high esteem. *smiles* Thank you Thrax.

Thrax: *smiled* Any time. *heads back into the living room*

Talic: 8smiles* I hope you enjoy your date tomorrow

Thrax: So do I. *sits back on the couch*

*Northstar and Ozzy are having a contest - who can make the other crack up faster with weird faces*

Thrax: *chuckled and shook his head*

Talic: *chuckles softly and watches*

Thrax: *leaned back as he watched them*

Northstar: 8finally cracks up in a fit of giggles*

Ozzy: ha! I win!

Talic: 8chuckles*

Thrax: *ruffled Ozzy's hair and kissed Northstar's forehead*

Northstar: *giggesl and breaks otu some toy s*

Ozzy: *chuckles a bit and plays whatever game NS comes up with*

Thrax: *crossed his legs and watched the two play*

Talic: *softly* may I ask af avor of you sometime?

Thrax: *looked at him* Sure I owe you anyway.

Talic: 8careful not to let the littleo nes overhear* Sometimes... I may need a donor...

Thrax: *gulps* Donor?

Talic: *gently* I would never insist upon this sort of thing. no will be accepted as an answer. And if you were to say yes I would never hurt you... I will not push it either. no means no.

Thrax: *bites his lip* I would agree to help but I'm not sure if it'll do any harm to you.

Talic: that I woudl know by the first taste... I also wish to advise you that my fangs can poison however only if I conciously wish them to... they canalso completely dull pain sot hat you feel none during the bite....

Thrax: *sighs then nods* I agree.

Talic: *gently* I will always ask first. always.

Thrax: *nods* Of course.

Talic: *smiles at him* I thank you .

Thrax: *smiles back* Anytime, my friend. *turns back to Ozzy and Northstar*

Talic; *chuckles as he watches the two play*

Thrax: *leans on his arm smiling as he watches his children*

Ozzy: *without warning grabs Northstar and tickle sher, at first she let's out a surprised yelp then squeals with laughter*

Thrax: *chuckles at their antics then looked at his left hand ring finger* Will it come true?

Talic: I think so. *pats hi sleg*

Thrax: *clenches his fist* I promise not to screw up this time, this time I'll do what's right.

Talic: *gives him an approving look* You will. I've faith

Thrax: *lays his head back and sighs before turning back to Ozzy and Northstar*

*they're playfully wrestling on the floor*

Thrax: *softly smiles, wondering what life will be like one Sapphire became part of there lives*

Talic: *simply smiles at the love struck virus and watches the children play*

Thrax: *straightens himself, shaking out of his daydream and keeps a close eye on his children.*

Northstar: *pauses for a moment in her play and yawns*

Ozzy: *chuckles* Tired?

Thrax: *chuckled then looked at the clock* It is getting late you two.

Ozzy: *chuckles* Kinda....

Thrax: *gets up and lifts Northstar into his arms* C'mon you two, bed time. *carries her upstairs*

Talic: *smiles and follows them to help put them to bed*

Thrax: *gently lays Northstar on her bed, stroking her hair and kisses her forehead* Goodnight, honey. *tucks her in*

Northstar: *yawning* Nite daddy.. *rubs her eyes*

Talic: *kisses her on the cheek and purrs to her* Goodnight little star.

Northstar: *coos*

Talic: *smiles warmly at Thrax, coming to see the virus as a brother*

Thrax: *returns the smile, stroking Northstar's cheek before getting up and quietly walks out*

Ozzy: 8smiles a bit*

Thrax: *leads Ozzy into his own room*

Ozzy: Aww dad... I don't wanna go to bed. *whining a little but cooperating*

Thrax: *stroked the back of Ozzy's head* It's getting late and I don't want you up all night. *sets Ozzy on his bed*

Ozzy: *yawns really big*

Talic: *pulls the covers aside*

Thrax: *lays Ozzy underneith and tucks him in* Sleep well, baby. *kisses his forehead*

Talic: *allows the father to tuck in his child*

Ozzy: *yawns* NIte dad. *yawning bigger* I love you.

Thrax: *nuzzled him* Love you to, baby. *strokes his cheek lightly*

Talic: *leans down and also kisses Ozzy on the cheek who opens an eye to look at the vampire* Sleep well little fledgling.

Thrax: *chuckles lightly and quietly slips out*

Talic: 8pats ozzy's shoulder and heads out with him*

Thrax: *smiled* Despite his antics sometimes he's worth it and with Northstar I know be able to fly someday.

Talic: *smiles* with a proper parent she will learn to conquer her fear of heights. Skylight chose well.

Thrax: *nods* She will. I know she will.

Talic; My brother... You raise your children well.

Thrax: *turned to him and blushed at the brother comment and tried to shake it off*

Talic: *chuckles* why the blushing?

Thrax: Sorry but calling me brother, I can't help but blush at it.

Talic: Why? *tilts his head, curious*

Thrax: The only time I was ever called that was when I was part of a street gang as a teen and as you know they only refer to 'cool' members as that never as a respectable friend.

Talic: really? *tilts his head* I always called my fellow clan members brother as a measure of both loyalty and affectoin.

Thrax: 8gave a small bow* I'd consider that an honour.

Talic: 8smiles and places a hand on his shoulder*

Thrax: *smiled back* I better get to bed myself. I could use a good night's sleep.

Talic: *nods and chuckles softly* Would you like me to tuck you in too?

Thrax: *shakes his head quickly* No thanks.

Talic: *nods* I bid you goodnight. *bows*

Thrax: *nods, smiling* Goodnight Talic. *heads into his own room*

Talic: *begins to head out*

Thrax: *heads to bed and allows sleep to take him*
