Death Note RP
This is during the time where the Death Note fad came into place. I created a sort of doujin sequel to Death Note called Death Note: The OCs, which is basically a comic strip-based story of life after Raito&L. Kita decided to jump into the bandwagon and created H, a replacement for Near after his death by assassination.
The Crying Traveller (Part 9)
Melly: *with his mother in the weaving room making quilts*
Kiba: *is reading a book, a personal favorite*
*Elly, Nakh, Rai and the twins are out hunting*
Kiba: I really miss hunting
Kal: You'll soon be able to after u give birth to my grandchild ^^
Melly: *finishes one quilt*
Kiba: I hope s....*winces a bit8
Kal: Kiba? *goes to him*
Kiba: I felt a slight pain
Kal: Oh my... Melly, watch over him, I'm going to call Kita
Melly: OK, mom *carries Kiba n puts him on his lap*
Kal: *rushes to Kita's home n to his office*
Kita: *is working on parchments*
Kal: Hey, Kita. Kiba is going into labour. We're gonna need help frm the Nymphs. Only they can handle a giant baby's birth
Melly: *while he tend to Kiba, he too felt a little twinge in pain*
Elly: *feels a sudden chill within him*
Kita: *drops his quilt and gets up* Cmon, let's hurry
Kai: What's the matter, Elly?
Raito:: Ya cold?
Elly: No...It's...something else...Something's happening *his body instinctively turn towards home*
Nakh: *surprised, but he too felt something tugging at his heartstrings*
Melly: Oow...! *the contractions became worse*
*The twins follow him*
Kiba: You too, Melly? *winces* Oowie
Melly: *pants, trying to hold onto the pain* Y...Y...Yes...I...can almost feel it...coming dwn...
Elly: *returns home n sees Kiba in Melly's lap* Ki...Kiba? Melly?
Kiba: Elly...it's time!
Twins: Melly! *they head to their mate*
Elly: *holds Kiba close to his chest* Wh...Where's Mom?
Melly: He...went to get...Kita oka-san...Oow... *held the twins in his arms, trying to bear the pain*
Kita: Boys? Oh my. Kal, do you have that item from when I had the twins? Or was that Nakh?
Nakh: I have it *takes out the shell-shaped flute n blew at it*
*within 10 seconds, the Nymphs appeared right beside Rai and Kita*
Meme: Well, what do we have here? *whistled at the sight of Melly n Kiba* Busy bee, aren't we?
Kita: Good to see you all. We need help. It's my nephews
Kiba: *opens his eyes to see nymphs* Nymphs?
Kita: These were the ones that helped me when I had the twins
Kal: Yup. They are the only ppl to be able to handle extraordinary births. They delivered Elly for me, although they didn't deliver Melly coz Melly was too eager to be born n Nakh was out hunting.
Onole: Let's not waste time then. You'll have to take them outside. They can't give birth here
Elly: *nods n carries Kiba outside*
Nakh: * helps Melly up to take him outside*
Kita: Just keep breathing, Kiba.
Kiba: *keeps his breathing steady*
Twins: *they stood on Melly's shoulder, giving him comfort*
*the Nymphs held hands together n chanted a spell, then with one swipe, materialized a huge birthing hut. The commotion had more or less caught the villagers' attention*
Onole: Right, bring them in now
Nakh: *went in first with Melly n the twins*
Elly: *followed after with Kiba*
Kiba: oow! >.< *feels more severe pain*
*the immediate family comes in*
Meme: Melly has to give birth kneeling dwn. It'll be easier for him. Kita, you and I and Nulu will assist Kiba's birth. Kal, the rest of you help Melly out

Nakh: *kneels behind Melly n supports him by the armpits*
Kiba: OoW! *starts breathing* it hurts!
Kita: I know it does. You gotta work the contractions, Push when you feel one
Elly: *has Kiba on his lap to support him by holding his legs up n spreading them*

Melly: *feels another coming n did as he was instructed, pushing dwn*
Kiba: *did the same, pushes down with a contraction*

Melly: *feels the baby inch dwn as he pushed, aided by gravity*
Kal: Very good, Mel. You're doing great!
Meme: Try to stretch bk a little his canal, Kita, it'll come out easier

Melly: *does as he was told, screaming curses n swears at the twins as he pushed, n didn't stop until the bulge between his legs was no more*
Kita: *catches* I got him!
Melly: *leans bk against Nakh n cries in relief*
Nulu: Woah! They're just as big as Kiba's, if not slightly smaller
*The twins each held a twin* Look Melly. We did it
Melly: *as Nakh lies him dwn, he looked tearfully at the babies* They're...They're so beautiful...
Kito: *shows him the baby that looks like him* She's so cute

*An hour later...the two couples are given their rest after the big ordeal of birth*

Rai: *is in the living room, staying up late with Kyo n the twins in discussion the clan matters of the day*
Kyo: *feels a phantom pain in his middle, like a telepathic pain he shared with his brother*
*Kita gets up from his bed but falls to his knees, grasping his stomach, feeling fluid leak between his legs* Noo

Kita: *smiled* It is coming up really good. Rai and Takai almost finished it up.
Takai: ^^ It took me a while to come up with an outline, but we're halfway done

Elly: I don't blame ya. It'll be another mth before ur due, n I'd like my baby to have a nice nursery to sleep in
