Thrax; *comes home very late in the evening, looking exhausted and drained*

NS: *rubsher eyes, sniffing*

Thrax; *reaches out , lightly stroking her face*

NS: *stirsr a little and looks up*

Thrax: *smiles weakly*

NS: Daddy! *gets up and wraps her arms tight around him*

Thrax; *gently hugs her* What are you doing up so late sweetie?

NS: *hugging him back* I missed you daddy...

Thrax; Honey you know I'd never leave you. *taps her nose*

NS: How come your boss won't let you be home?

Thrax: *sighs* Honey I need to work these hours in order to provide for you and ozzy, it's not easy being a single parent.

NS: *hugsh im tightly around the waist* 8sniffles softly*But I want you to be home sometimes too...

Thrax; *strokes her hair* It's beyond my control sweetie, I don't wish to be away from you.

NS: *nuzzles intoh is chest*

Thrax; *sits on the couch with Northstar in his arms*

NS: *sucks her thumb, cuddling intohis chest*

Thrax; *gently rocks her*

NS: *yawns and snuggles intohis chest*

Talic: *comes over and nuzzles Thrax* ~does your employer have you schedualed for any time off lately?

Thrax; *sighed* ~It's going to be like this for a few weeks and I'm not the only family man suffering.~

Talic: *nods* ~We are here for you no matter how long it goes on.~

Thrax: *smiled* ~Thank you brother.~

Talic: 8smiles backand nods as NS fals asleep in Thrax's arms*

Thrax: *cradled her close then carried her up the stairs to her room*

*in front of the fire place there's a rather large wolf napping*

Thrax; *saw it* What is that?

Talic: Hm? *looks over at said wolf* Oh.. That's just Kain in his wolf form.

Thrax: How often is he in that form?

Talic: *shrugs* As often as he wants to be I suppose. His mentor Vorador had a wolf form as well and they used to go prowling using them all the time.

Thrax: *chuckles* A good way to get food. *he carried Northstar to her room*

Talic: it gave them some quality time together as well. *chuckles*

Thrax; *softly laughs as he lays Northstar on her bed and tucks her in*

Talic *Chuckles* you should have seen Northstar's reaction to his wolf form...

Thrax: ~Scared her?~ *he strokes Northstar's hair and kisses her forehead*

Talic: *chuckling* ~Her eyes got as big asd saucers then she exclaimed "puppy!" and the next thing he knew her arms were around his neck.~ *laughs* ~I think he was stunned for a few moments~

Talic: *eyes shining with mirth* ~I have heard my grandsire called many things... but 'puppy' has not been one of them until tonight.~

Thrax: *chuckles* ~I would have loved to see that.~ *he returns downstairs*

Kain: *is still sleeping and looking qutie comfortable*

Thrax; *sits down with Talic*

Talic: *pats his shoulder* I"m goig to get you some dinner. I'm sure you're hungry.

Thrax: I'm afraid I haven't had much of an appitite lately Talic.

Talic: I know but you must keep up your strength.. please thrax.

Thrax: *glared at him* I told you I don't feel like eating.

Kain: *lifting his head* ~When was the last time you ate?~

THrax: At lunch during work.

Kain: *sitting up* ~and what did you have?~

Thrax: A subdermal sandwhich.

Kain: ~And before that?~

Thrax: *just a slice of toast and some coffee before I headed off.

Kain: ~Eat.~!

Thrax: *glared at him*

Kain: *standing and approching the virus, stil in ihs wolf form* ~You will eat.~

Thrax: Look Kain, I don't feel hungry at the moment I've had a hard long day and I need to get to bed.

Kain: ~Then you shall rest... but first you shall eat.. You have had far too littleto eat today....~

Thrax: Trust I've gone days without food before.

Kain: *to talic* ~Leave us..~

Talic: But...

Kain: *givesh im a stern look*

Talic: .. *leaves to go hunting, knowingbetter than to disobey Kain*

Kain: *to Thrax* ~Even for your kind that cannot be healthy. YOu will eat Thrax.~

Thrax: *massaged his forehead* Kain please I've had a rough day and I need to rest up for tomorrow.

Kain: ~Not to mention have something to eat so your body can have fuel... I will not relent on this so you may as well eat.~

Thrax: *rolled his eyes, getting up then headed upstairs*

Kain: ~I warn yoiu...~ *returning toh is true form* ~You will eat either now or while sitting upon a sore bottom.. but you will eat.~

THrax: *yawned and went into his room*

Kain: *quietly* very well... *follows him*

Thrax: *strips off his clothes, setting them aside*

Kain: 8steps into his room, arms folded in front of his chest* As I said... You will eat now or while sitting on a sore bottom... but you will eat young one.

Thrax: *sighs* Look Kain if we continue this through the night I won't have the energy to work tomorrow.

Kain: Then you see the wisdom in eating a meal.

Thrax: All I need is sleep. *yawns*

Kain: I agree... you need sleep... hoewver... *walkign over to his bed and pulling him over his lap* You need food too.

Thrax: What the-?

Kain: I would prefer not to do this so I'll give you another chance... Will you eat a meal?

Thrax: *groaned* Can't take a hint can you?

Kain: I gave you plenty of my own... *yanks his clothing down and begins to spank him* I meant what I said.

Thrax: *bit his lip*

Kain: Let me make one thing abundantly clear Thrax.... *continuing to swat him* I care about you...

Thrax: *kept his ground*

Kain: 8continuing to swat him* And as such I will not tolerate you placing your health at risk like this. I understand you must work to support your family however starving yourself will not do you, or them, any good.

Thrax: I've done and gone through worse.

Kain: And there is no reason to put yourself through this when you don't need to. *continues to spank him*

Thrax; 8bites down on his lip8

Kain: And if you don't need to endure it... I will not tolerate you putting yourself through it

Thrax; 8snorted8

Kain; You are not tos tarve yourself...

Thrax; 8rolled his eyes8

Kain: *holdsu p his hand and summons over a hairbrush, startign to paddle the virus with that*

Thrax; 8throws his head back as he felt contact8

Kain: *concentrates on his sitting area, his swats methodical and even*

Thrax; 8snarls8

Kain: *nods, continuing tos wat him hard and fast*As I said... I care too much to allow you to starve yourself.

Thrax; 8hissed, his fangs showing8

Kain: Yes yes I know... But believe me I do this for your good. *begins to speed up the spanking

Thrax; 8snarled his spires shooting from his back8

Kain: *puts his hand between them and simply continues to spank him, holding him down firmly* Enough of that now...

Thrax; 8growled at him8

Kain: *gives him a harder smack for the growl but continues the spanking nonetheless, unphazedb y his agression*

*After a hour Thrax begins wearing down8

Kain: *firmly but with kindness in his voice* You are too much cared for here for me to allow you to not take care of yourself... You do a splended job with your children and it's not diffacult to see that you love them dearly... But you must not neglect yourself while you care for them...

Thrax; 8tries to push himself up but collapses exhausted8

Kain: 8stops , setting the brush aside and placing his hand on Thrax's bottom* If you neglect yourself... in the end you harm you r ability to take care of your children... Do you understand why it's so important?

Thrax; 8didn't hear him, he'd passed out8 8winced at the touch8

Kain: *gently* I know the signs of what could be Thrax... and I care far too much for you to allow you to fall into a downard spiral which will harm your health... I know you are tired but you must eat or as the days go by you will be more and more fatigued as yoru body runso ut of energy without food to fuel it...I know you wish to do what is best for yoru children... And that means caring for yourself as well.

Thrax; 8kept his head down8

Kain: 8brings him up to his chest and kisses him on the forehead*Come... I will make you something.

Thrax; 8looked more warn out than when he got home8

Kain: *offers him a sandwich*

Thrax; 8didn't take it, he just slumped against the couch8

Kain: *gently* I can feed it to you you know.

Thrax; 8didn't look up as he began to drift off8

Kain: *decides to let the matter go but will ensure Thrax has a moer substancial breakfast than a few measly peices of toast and holds the virus cose, purring softly to him to help ease him into a restful deep sleep*

Thrax; 8fell into a deep sleep8

Kain: *carries him to bed but holds him through the night*
