Ozzy: 8starts to cry early that morning*

Kain; *got up and when to check on him8

Ozzy: *is still mostly asleep but he's also in need of a change*

Kain: *picks him up and carried him to the bathroom8

Ozzy: *opens his eyes and looks up at him, tears streaming*

Kain: Ssshhh, it's okay little one. *he lays ozzy on the floor snd untapes his diaper8

Ozzy: M'sowy..M'sowy! *clings to his arm and cries into his chest* *is just wet at the moment but he was that way for a while before starting to cry so he has a bit of a painful rash*

Kain: *tosses the soilt diaper into th trash then begin rubbing plent of powder andoil onto ozzy's butt to help with the rash*

Ozzy: *seems to feel better once dry but is still crying silently*

Kain: *tapes on a fresh diaper and lifts him into his arms*

Ozzy: 8wraps his arms around him and cries softly into his chest*

Kain; s him close, rubbing his back*

Ozzy: *sniffs and lays his head on his shoulder*

Kain; *carries him downstairs*

Ozzy: Where's daddy?

Kain; He's alraedy left little one.

Ozzy: Oh...*looks down, his eyes filling with tears again*

Kain: *Rubbed his back*

Ozzy: *burries his face in Kain's chest*

Kain: *rocks him gently*

Ozzy: *sobbing softly* I want my daddy...

Kain: *rubbed his back* He wish he could be here little one but he can't control this.

Ozzy: *sniffles intoh is chest, he's recovering from the muscle relaxers but at the same time he's genuinely regressed and clings to Kain tightly*

Kain: *sat down on the couch, cradling him*

Ozzy: *sniffles soflty*

Kain; It's okay little one, it's okay. 8he gently bounced him8

Ozzy: *sniffls softly*M'hungry...

Kain; 8smiled8 What wold you like/

Ozzy: *sniffs* dunno.

Kain; Well et's see what there is. 8he carried ozzy into the kitchen and looked through the cupboards and fridge8

*they have oatmeal, grits, smoe pancake mix, which ozzy's sotmache might be able to handle, as well ast he usual eggs bacon and whatnot*

Kain; Hmm. . . . 8he fashion a harness and hitched ozzy onto his back then grabbed the pancake mix* Blueberry/

Ozzy: *rests his head on his back*

Kain; 8smiled and began cooking8

Ozzy: How come you can cook?

Kain; I've taken care of humans before myself to make sure they're provided for. *he stirred then poured in the batter*

Ozzy: *watches him cook*

Kain: *sorts them onto a plate* What would you like with it?

Ozzy: Dunno... some orange juice?

Kain; *chuckles* Anything on them?

Ozzy: Oh... *blushes a bit* Syrup.

Kain: *nodded, pouring the syrup over them then unhitched ozzy and sat down*

Ozzy: *looks up at him*

Kain: *tied a bib on ozzy, cut up the pancakes and began fedding him*

Ozzy: *used to being fed lately, lets Kain feed him*

Kain; 8pats his side8 Good boy.

Ozzy: *continues to eat and looks up at him* *sniffs softly* Is daddy going to be home late again?

Kain; 8sighed8 I'm afraid so little one.

Ozzy: But I didn't get to see him at all yesterday*

Kain; He doesn't like being away from you but it's beyond his contril.

Ozzy: *softly* I know... *nuzzles into hsi chest*

Kain; 8lifted the food to his mouth8

Ozzy: *turns his face away*

Kain; Full little one/

Ozzy: *sniffs8 Don't want anymore...

Kain; 8sets the plate aside and rubs his back8

Ozzy: *sniffs into his chest, very much missing Thrax8

Kain; ~Thrax doesn't wish to be away from his children but what choice does he have.~

Ozzy: *wraps his armsa round his shoulders and sniffs*

Kain; 8cradles him close8

talic: 8comes into the kitchen with a very sleepy faced NS*

Kain; Good morning. 8rubs ozzy's back8

Talic: good morning.

Kain; Sleep well/

Talic: *nods*

NS: me too* rubs her sleepy eyes*

Kain; 8chukles8 Hope you like pancakes little star/

NS: *nods* Uh huh.

Kain; 8set a fresh plate down for her8

NS: 8sits down to eat*

Kain; 8smiles then gently bounces ozzy8

Talic: 8comes over and gently strokes Ozzy's hair*

Ozzy: *looks up at him*

Kain; ~He's a little upset this morning.~

Talic: ~Missing his father?~

Kain; 8nodded8

NS: *eats her pancakes and looks up at them*

Kain; Nothing to be worried about little star.

NS: *nods a little* Where's daddy?

Kain; He's at work little one.

NS: Oh...

Kain; 8nods and continues rocking ozzy8

Ozzy: *nuzzles into his chest, but doesnt' go back to sleep*

Kain; 8was sitting on the couch cuddling ozsy8

Ozzy: *sitting in his lap, dozing a little*

NS: *is on the floor playing under the vampires watchful eyes*

Kain; 8smiled s he held ozzy close8

Talic: 8chuckles gently, watcing the girl play*

Ozzy: *nuzzles abit into Kain's chest*

Kain; 8gently patted his rump8

NS: 8starts to tense up and then gets up and hurries over to Talic*

Kain; 8looked at her in worry8

Talic: 8wraps his arms around her* What's wrong little star...?

NS: *looks upa t him then clings*

talic: *lets out a low grow as he begins to sense a familiar... and dark presence* Apoc..

Kain; 8gasped and held ozzy close as he to syarted to feel the negative pressence8

Ozzy: *becomes frightened adn clings to Kain a bit*

Talic: *gently* The wards I set will hold..

Kain; Let's hope.

Talic: *stands and hold shis ground*

Kain; *darted his head back and forth*

NS: *whimpers softly, trying to hide in Kain's chesT*

Kain; *shifts his footimh has he cradles ozzy8

Ozzy: what's wrong? *can'ts ense some thigns the way NS and the vampires can*

Kain; Danger.

NS: *crying* I want daddy!

Kain; If only he was here.

Talic: *gently* you will both be alright*

Kain; ~How did he find you?~

Talic: ~He isn't after me... he's after her.~

Kain; 8held both children close8 ~He won't get her.~

Talic: Indeed not... *narrows his eyes, it's clear the younger vampire is prepared to fight*

Kain; 8shifted his eyes back and forth8

*there's a ripple in the ward as Apoc attempts to get through it*

Talic: *lets otu a low growl*

Kain; 8snarls, looking around8

Talic: *narrows his eyes and stands* i'm going out there to fight him back .

Kain; Be careful and keep him away from here.

Talic: *nods* I will. *heads out to engage Apoc*

Ozzy: *frightened, clings to Kain*

Kain; 8holds both children close, gently bouncing them8

Ozzy: *seems a little soothed*

Kain; 8whispered comforting words to them as he crouches near the corner8

Talic: *returns soon and checkso n thechildren*

Kain: *looked up at him* Well?

Talic: I drove him off. ~But ultimately he needs to die.~

Kain: ~Let's hope when the time comes we'll be ready. *he gently cradled the children*

Talic: we will be

Kain; *nods, sitting on the couch as he cradled the children*

Ozzy: *has gone to sleep*

NS: *is still clinging*

Kain; *gently bounces her*

NS: *soflty* I'm scared...

Kain: We'll protect you little one.

NS: *nods a little and sniffles*

Talic: *picks her up and purrs to her gently*

Kain: I probably shouldput this little one to bed. *he carried Ozzy to his bedroom and tucked him in before returning to the living room*

Talic:*is patting NS's back and p urring to her*

Kain: *sat beside him and stroked Northstar's hair*

NS: *soflty* I want daddy to come home...

Kain; He wish he could be here but it's beyond his control.
