Harry: *laughing as he's flying in the back yard with everybody at the party*
Sirius: *chuckles* Easy there, Har. Don't wanna end up banging into Remy's prized collections there
Harry: *grins, laughing as he flies around* Got it!
Sirius: *shook his head* He's so much like James. Can't believe he's already 17
Remus: *nods, trying not to cry*
Ron: *flies past Harry, chasing him*
Hermione: *swooped aside to avoid Ron hitting her* Watch it!
Severus: *knocked on the door*
Remus: I'll get it. *walks over to get the door* Oh, Severus. We didn't expect you. Come in.
Severus: *nods and walked into the house to look out the window and see that Harry and his friends had taken the flying outside the house* Fiesty as ever, isn't he?
Sirius: Yup. Chip off the old block. I'm so glad everything is over. The war, everything, he can now finally settle down and have a normal life
Remus: *nods* I'm so proud of him.
Severus: I know I have come here uninvited, but there is something we need to talk about
Sirius: Huh? What about?
Remus: Is something wrong, Severus?
Severus: Let's go somewhere private
Remus: Is everything alright?
Severus: *cleared his throat* Have you noticed the ring that Potter have been wearing around his neck ever since he was in your care?
Sirius: Yes, we have. It's a bonding ring. Lily had told us the day before she died that he was to keep the ring with him at all times
Remus: Do you know who he is betrothed to? We've never wanted him to date for fear of getting his heart broken. *sighs*
Sirius: Yeah. We told him he cannot date until he graduated. At least he's a good boy on that, plus the war didn't really give him time to date properly
Severus: *nods* I know who's he betrothed to. But I'm afraid you would not like the answer
Remus: Well?
Severus: *reached behind his collar to reveal a matching ring around his neck as well*
Sirius: Y...You?? Lily made YOU his betrothed??
Severus: Told you you wouldn't like it
Remus: *eyes widen*
Sirius: That's impossible! Why you, of all people??
Severus: Apparently she said to me that I am the one that she trust me the most, since we've known each other we were children. She said she would entrust her son to no one else but me. Any other reason why is that, I don't know. You'll have to dig her up and find out *meant that last bit sarcastically*
Remus: ...so then... oh dear.
Sirius: Damn...This is...wow...And you decided to tell us now?
Severus: I was given strict orders by Lily to let him know once he is of age, I intend to follow it to the letter
Remus: Can you wait until the party is over?
Severus: Very well. I will
Sirius: Man, Har's gonna flip when he hears this
Remus: *nods with a sigh* I know he has feelings for young Mr. Malfoy. This will not end well.
Sirius: *dreaded the outcome as he watched Harry and Draco looking like they were flirting with each other*
Remus: *sighs*
*after the party and sending off the guests, Sirius approached Harry*
Sirius: Har, come. We need to talk
Harry: Is something wrong?
Sirius: It's a bit of a serious matter, but none too serious. Come along *takes his hand and led him to the study where Remus and Severus are*
Harry: *frowns, following him* Oh, Professor. Hello.
Severus: *nodded in acknowledgement*
Sirius: You might want to sit down, Har
Harry: ...alright... *sits down nervously*
Sirius: Har, remember this ring? *took out the ring frm Harry's collar* The one that we told you to wear it at all times?
Harry: Well yeah.
Sirius: Well, I'm sure you remember us telling you that this is a bonding ring and that you can't date because you're already promised to someone else since birth. Well *takes a deep breath* Here he is *gestured to Severus*
Severus: *as if in cue, showed his ring as well to Harry*
Remus: *face palm* Subtlety is not your forte, Sirius.
Harry: O_O .... e-excuse me. *leaves quickly and heads to his room*
Sirius: W...Wait...What? What did I say?
Severus: It's OK, I'll handle this *walks to Harry's room n knocked on the door*
