Talic: *sits with themon the couch and begins to tell them a story(

Ozzy; 8cuddles listening*

*There's a knocking at the door*

Talic: *lays ozzy gently on the couch* I'll be righ tback.

Ozzy; *nodded, snuggling down*

talic: *opens the door* May I help you?

*The chief and a few of ozzy's co-works as well as Drix were standing there, they backed ofs when they saw Talic*

Talic: *does not react to their reactions to him... he's used to this and simply asks his questino again8 May I help you?

Chief; We've some to see Ozzy.

Talic: And who are you?

Chief: I'm the chief of the FPD, ths is ozzy's partner Drix *he gestures to Drix* and co-workers. *he gestured to the others*

Talic: *looks to him then drix and the others, searching their eyes gagueing how much he can trust them*

Anna; *coward behind Deliah in fear*

Talic: *after a moment steps aside* come in.

Chief; *nodded* Thank you. *he enters with the others8

Talic: *moves back over to the couch, stroking NS' cheek when she casts a wary glance to the group that comes in*

Drix: *smiles at her*

NS: *waggles her fingers and smiles a little at Drix, though he still frightens her a little*

Anna; *looked out from behind Deliah and her jaw dropped when she saw ozzy*

Chief: *didn't seemed surprised*

Ozzy: *looks up at them and smiles a little though is face is a tad flushed, glad noone can see that he's wearing a diaper under his pajamas and the blanket still on the couch that talic had wrapped
Northstar and he in when he began the story*

Carrie: *knealt next to him* How are you feeling?

NS: *kidn of hides under the blanket a little though the female strangers frighten her less than the male*

Ozzy: Ok... *not wanting to talk much as he's been having some diffaculty from themuscle relaxants*

Deliah: *sees Northstar* And who may this young lady be?

NS: *timidly* I'm northstar.

talic: *softly* She's not much fond of Strangers... but women frighten her less than men.

Deliah; 8nods8 That's quiet understandable.

Anna; 8nodded8

Ozzy: 8whispers something softly To NS as he strokes her hair, trying to calm his sister8

*The group backoff as Drix loads his cannon8

Kain: I am kain. Talic you really should have told them of my presence here. *gives the younger vampire a scolding look*

Talic: *quietly* I appologise grandsire.

Everyone; Grandsire?

NS:: *points at Talic* He's uncle talic... and *points at Kain* He's uncle talic's grandpa.

Anna; So he's your uncle young one/

NS: *nods*

Ozzy: *softly* He's mine too... kinda.. I guess.

Chief; 8to Talic8 Who and what exactly are you/

talic: Northstar has already explained whom I am. *looks to Kain whom nods his permission* and I am a vampire.

Carrie; Vampire! 8she darts behind O'Connell8

NS: *giggles a little* don't be silly... he's not scary.

Talic: *chuckles* She also hasn't known me from birth as you have...

Talic: *sits on the couch and peers over at the cheif* I take it you're here to check on Ozzy?

Drix; We all are.

Talic: *nods8 Might I offer you a drink?

Deliah; Just water please. 8the others nodded8

*He nods and brings out some glasses, though as he carries the pitcher... he uses telekinesis*

Talic: Help yourselves.

NS: 8whimpers a little and gets into Talic's lap*

Talic: Shh... don't be afraid little one..

*They all took a glass and poured some water*

Talic: *strokes NS' hair*

Kain: *gives ozzy a pat on the back* You all work with the boy I take it?

Chief: *nodded* Yes.

Ozzy: *soflty* cheif's myboss.

Drix; 8nods8 And I'm also ozzy's best friend as well as his partner8

NS: *still thinks he's scary*

Carrie; 8smiled softly at her8

NS: *clings a little to Talic*

Talic: *chuckles gently and pats her back*

NS: *looks up at Carrie.

Carrie; There's no need to be afraid young one.

NS: Yeah huh.

Kain: *chuckles8 and what makes them so frightening child?

NS: They're strangers..

Anna; 8whispered to Talic8 Is she always like this/

Talic: *gently* Strangers frighten her

Anna; 8sighed, shaking her head8

Talic: You can thank her biological father for that.

Chief; *choked on the water* What?

Talic: she's always beennervous around crowds. However his negative reinforcement made it worse.

Drix; First Ozzy now her, how can anyone be so cold blooded.

Kain: It is the nature of some people I would suppose.

Chief; 8crushed the glass in his hand8

NS: *whimpers softly*

Talic: Shh... He is just angry that your father treated you the way he did... *strokes her hair* Thrax is the best thing I think that has ever happened to either of them...

Drix; 8nodded8 He is and they've really helped him.

NS: *sucks her thumb*

Talic: *nods* Indeed... I've known little star since her birth... and I've greatly fallen for ozzy... *smiles patting the cell's back*

Ozzy: *smiles softly*

O'Conell; Without you two Thrax would still be a cold blooded killer.

Talic: I think ozzy takes much of the credit for that... When I met him he was already an overprotective father.

Drix; That I can understand when I first found ozzy with Thrax he attacked me like an animal because he thouht I'd tke ozzy away from him.

Talic: *chuckles soflty* You should have seen how he reacted when I approched his little girl.

Chief; Any true parent would act like that, I should know.

talic: *nods8 You've children yourself I take it?

Chief; 8nods8 A son.

Talic: *nods* *smiles* Children are a blessing...

Deliah; 8nods8 They are and those who can't see that don't deserve them.

NS: *looksk over toward the cheif*

Chief; 8smiles softly at her8

NS: *sucks her thumb*

Talic: *gently* The cells that came to see your brother are kind... Don't be afraid of them.

O'Connell; We don't mean any harm young lady.

NS: *sniffs a little* Promise?

Carrie; Cross our hearts. 8she did the gesture8

NS: 8giggles a little*

Ozzy: The cheif's cool... He just looks big and scary... *knows NS seems more intimidated by the older blood cell than Drix at the moment*

Chief; Believe me I'm a father myself and I's never hurt a child.

NS: *looks at him*

Kain: 8pats NS' head* come now... I'm more frightening than he is and you ate lunch sitting in my lap this afternoon.

Drix; Trust us young one. 8he strokes ozzy's cheek with his finger8

Ozzy: *leans on Drix al ittle*

Drix; 8smiled softly8

Ozzy: *closes his eyes, trusting the pill easily*

Drix; 8gently took him into his arm8

Kain: *chuckles softly, finding it cute*

NS: *sucks her thumb stilll looking at the crowd of cells*

*The group smiles at the scene finding it adoreable.*

Kain: 8gives Talic a little love as well, lightly combing the younger vampire's hair with his claws then picks up a doll and hands it to NS*

O'Connell; 8chuckled bfore Carrie lightly ribbed him8

talic: *blushes slightly though he gives his grandsire a little nuzzle*

Chief: *smiled softly*

NS: *hugs her doll a little and, feeling a little braver, looks to the cells*

*They all smile at her gently*

NS: *continues to suck her thumb and looks up at Kain as the elder vampire gently removes it*

Anna: She's adoreable, your sister ozzy/

Ozzy: 8smiles* Yeah she is..

Deliah: Looks like Thrax is giving twice the love now.

Ozzy: *leans tiredly on drix.

Drix: *stroked his hair*

Ozzy: *sighs a little*

Kain; *chuckles* You look content.

Ozzy: *blushes*

*The group chuckle silently*

Deliah; 8strokes his hair* Don't worry ozzy those who did this won't be around for long when we get them.

Kain: do let Talic and I in on it when you identify them won't you?

Drix; 8nods* WE will but there won't be much left.

Kain: *smirks* Oh.. there will be enough... *

Anna: He means there won't be enough after they get through with them.

Kain: Once again... trust me... *smirks*

Drix: You're not the only one out for their heads the clan are to.

kain: INdeed... but before you go after them contact us...or at least talic... so that he can help. We want apiece of him too.. I'd be happy to watch the kids while the culprits are punished.

Drix; 8nodded8

NS: *Slips from Talic's lap slowly*

*The group watch her*

NS: 8picks up one of her toys from the floor, looking up at them*

Carrie; 8knealt in front of her8

NS: *looks up at her with her thumb in her mouth*

Carrie; 8lightly strokes her cheek8

NS: *flinches a little then calms and looks up at her*

Carrie; 8smiles softly at her8

NS: *tilts her head a little* What's your name?

Carrie; 8smiled8 Carrie Johnston, little one.

NS: *softly* I'm Northstar.

Carrie; That's a lovely name.

NS: *soflty* Thank you.

Talic: *smiles fondly at the little one and looks tot he cheif voice soft* Technically she woudl normally be in my custody... were I not evolving at the time I'd have taken her out of her father's custody a long time ago for his abuse... But her mother's spirit has given Thrax her blessing to adopt her... and so have I... He's a good father. Firm, fair, and above all loving to both of them.

Chief: *nods* He is one in a million.

Talic: *nods* Indeed.

Kain: *chuckles* Quite a clan you've joined Talic...

Drix; 8smiles8 An quite a family, Ozzy and Northstar have become part of.

Talic: *chuckles* indeed...

Anna; You're lucky they found each other, I don't even want to think of what would've happened if they didn't.

Ozzy: *softly* NOrthy was... pretty banged up when I found er...

Anna; At least you found her and brought her to Thrax for treatment.

Ozzy: didn't know where'else ta bring her... *rubs his eyes a little* She's so lil...

Drix; Maybe we should head on Ozzy, you look tired.

Chief; 8getting up8 Get well soon Ozzy.

NS: *when the cheif moves turns and gets back into Talic's lap*

Carrie; 8tightened her jacket8 We'll see you soon Oz.

NS: 8clings to Talic, still frightened of the cheif*

Ozzy: *waves to her, though still seems to be using his partner as a pillow

Drix; 8gently sets ozzy in kain's arms8

Kain: *gently holds the cell*

Ozzy: *looks at Drix like "no don't go"*

Drix; 8tickled his chin8 I''ll see you ozzy.

Ozzy: *softly* see ya... *though looks like he's going to cry*

Drix; 8patted his head and headed out*

Deliah; Take care Ozzy. 8she and the others departed8

Ozzy: 8waves to them, but once drix leaves... the tears fall*

Kain; 8holds him close, rubbing his back8

Kain; Sssshhh-ssshhh-sshh, little one it's okay.

Ozzy: *starts to sob anyway,clinging to the vampire*

Talic: *frowns, concerned*

Kain; Hey now what's wrong/

Ozzy: *blushes but continues to cry

Kain; 8gently bounceshim, patting his rear8

Ozzy: 8wraps his armsa round him, sobbing softly into his chests* *sniffling* want Dwix to come back...

Kain; He's already long gone and it's getting late little one.

Ozzy: *sniffing* I know... I just... want dwix... *not trying to talk normal anymore, they've both heard it anyway*

Ozzy: *sniff* N' i want daddy too...

Kain; He'll be home soon little one.

Ozzy: 8sniffs into his neck, clinging to him*

Talic: *picks NS up and gently pats Ozzy's back8

NS *sucks her thumb, cuddling*

Kain; 8looked at Talic in worry8

Talic: *pats NS' back* ~I think he's emotionally exausted...~

Ozzy: *which is true and he cries it all out into Kain's chest*

Kain; 8holds him close8

Ozzy: *continues to bawl intoh is chest until he exhausts himself and ends up faling asleep*

Kain; 8pats his back then heads to the kitchen to fix up a bottle then carries ozzy upstairs8

Ozzy: *fast asleep, exausted from crying*

Kain; 8lays him on the bed and tucks him in8

Ozzy, sniffs quietly in ihs sleep*

Kain; 8picks up the monitor and quietly heads downstairs8
