Thrax: *straightens Ozzy shirt* Ozzy when you asked the questions how will you answer?

Ozzy: Honestly.

Thrax: Good boy and don't listen to the lies of fools and make sure not to pressure yourself.

Ozzy: *nods* Yes sir. *smiles*

Thrax: *hugs him* Off you go then. *kisses him*

Ozzy: *kisses and hugs him back* Love you

Thrax: Love you to, baby. *watches him leave*

*At the Court House, Leah and Drix are waiting for Ozzy*

Ozzy: *arrives about on time*

Leah: Glad to see you Ozzy.

Drix: Are you ready for the hearing?

Ozzy: As ready as I'll ever be.

Leah: Let's go then. *enters the building*

Ozzy: *ditto*

*the courtroom is packed, mostly with FPD members either retired or current*

Officer: All rise for the honourable Judge O'Neil. *the judge enters and everyone takes their seats*

Judge: First witness to the stand.

Leah: Your honour, I call Drixo Benzo Metaphedramine to the stand.

Drix: *approaches the stand*

Leah: Mr. Metaphedramine, could you please tell the court of your experience with the accused.

Drix: *tells him about the encounter with the accused, including their threats of violence and calling him a traitor for not helping them harm his viral friends*

Leah: *nods* No further questions your honour. *she sits down as the other lawyer approaches Drix*

Lawyer: Don't you think you exaggerated a bit?

Drix: *tilts his head* It is not in my nature to exaggerate sir.

Lawyer: I mean your s member of the FPD and have a duty to protect the city from deadly viruses such as the 'Red Death.'

Drix: Perhaps however for one the viruses we are referring to are none infectious. They are not here to harm the body simply to coexist... but they are not the ones on trial here sir.

Lawyer: So you say yet like you they were doing their jobs.

Drix: I don't see where it is their jobs to harass

Lawyer: So it is right to allow a group of deadly viruses to roam free while they falsely accuse innocence.

Drix: As I said they aren’t the ones on trial here. Shall we stick to the accused please in which they were harassing them and myself and insisting I bring them out so that they could harm them? I daresay they were going to form a lynch mob... Now they made no mention of this but it's what I imagined.

Lawyer: *nods* No further questions your honour. *he sits back down*

Judge: You may step down Mr. Metaphedramine.

Drix: *nods and returns to his seat*

*randomly some guy watching the trial picks his nose*

Judge: Your next witness Ms. E .

Leah: *bites her lip and takes a deep breath* I call Osmosis Jones to the stand.

Ozzy: *takes a cleansing breath and goes to the stand*

Leah: *approaches him* Now Mr. Jones call you explain to me in your own words what the accused have done to you.

Ozzy: Well... They are the ones whom attacked my home and destroyed it... during the collapse I was already injured and was hurt worse when some debris fell on me. I nearly died from them.

Leah: And what of your family?

Ozzy: *outwardly acts calmly though inside his stomach is churning as he describes the events of what happened leading up to the attack. he clearly saw who they were though following the attack he was in a coma for a while*

Leah: *nods* No further questions your honour. *she sits as the other lawyer takes charge.*

Lawyer: Your an Immunity cop right Mr. Jones yet you live with viruses?

Ozzy: Well yeah. They're family. I'm not genetically related to them but they're still family.

Lawyer: *nods* But you failed to apprehend them and accuse fellow cops of doing the job that they are given.

Ozzy: They aren’t breaking the law.

Lawyer: Still when it comes to the safe of Frank the rules of law must be fallowed.

Ozzy: and they obey the law.

Judge: Sanderson another comment like that and I'll remove you from the court.

Lawyer: *nods* No further questions your honour.

Judge: You may step down Mr. Jones.

Ozzy: *nods, thanking him and returning to his seat*

Judge: Members of the jury I shall give you time to decide your decision of the accused sentence.

*the jury left to decide the fate of those accused and returned an hour later*

Judge: has the jury reached a verdict?

Jury member: We have your honour.

Judge: What is your conclusion?

Jury member: In the account of property destruction we find the defendant: Guilty. On the account of endangering lives we find the defendant: Guilty. And on account of attempted murder we find the defendant: Guilty

Judge: Since you have been found guilty on all accounts I sentence you to the spleen and may your fate remind those whose seek to destroy others are themselves destroyed. *bangs the mallet*

*FPD cops removed the struggling prisoners from the courtroom*

Leah: *smiles at this and turns to Ozzy* Now you family can be left in peace.

Ozzy: *smiles warmly at her, a tear in his eye*

Leah: *wipes his tear away with her thumb* Let's go. Your father needs to know.

Ozzy: *nods, rubbing at his eyes a bit* I can't wait to tell him. *smiles*

Leah: *nods and leads him out of the courtroom*

Ozzy: *heads home*
