*Luke was outside, making sure all the decorations are ready for Halloween* Almost ready!
Illust: *chking the candies* Got all the candies ready!
Luke: *was dressed up as Thriller MJ for halloween* That's good. We gotta be careful. he'll be watching us
Illust: Who? *was dressed as a mummy; growing up sheltered by her overprotective parents until Luke rescued her frm her life, she had nvr celebrated Halloween n dunno the rituals*
Luke: The guardian of Halloween. He'll look like a little boy with a lollipop, but he makes sure the tradition is held right. If someone abuses it, they'll pay the price
Illust: Pay the price? Like penalty charges?
Luke: Actually, you'll die
Illust: O_O Why does he need to do tht? Its just Halloween
Luke: Like I said, he's the guardian. Cmon, let's go trick r treat and then come home to give out candy
Illust: *nods n grabbed her Trick or Treat bag*
Luke: *grab his bag too and followed as well*
Illust: *take his hand n went dwn the road, seeing other trick-n-treaters as well*
Luke: Where should we go first>
Illust: I dunno. U pick. I'll go where u go
Luke: *goes to the first house on their left*
Illust: *followed him, preparing her bag*
*Soon, an hour into their trick r treating...they are being followed by a small boy with a brown sack mask*
Illust: *realized they were being followed n turned ard to look*
Luke: What is it, sis?
Illust: Someone is following us
Luke: *smiled, knowing who it was. He stopped and turned around, waving* Hey Sam
Illust: Sam? *leaned close to Luke, a little afraid, remembering his story*
Luke: *knelt down and waved to him*
Sam: *sees him, quietly standing there before waving slowly*
Illust: *whisper* He's scary
Luke: Shh, that's him. *walked to him* Keeping up the duty, Sam?
Sam: *nodded, then sees Illust n pointed at her, as if asking who the new addition is*
Illust: *hid behind Luke*
Luke: That's my little adopted sister, Illust
Sam: *wants to come close to see her bt Illust was scared n shy of him*
Luke: It's okay, Illust. He won't hurt you
Illust: Reli? *looks at him warily*
Luke: Yes. He saved me once
Illust: *nodded n came out in the open*
Sam: *took a lock of Illust's hair n sniffed it, thinking it was chocolate, since her hair was close to tht colour(
Luke: He senses your purity
Illust: *smiled nervously at him*
Sam: *looked at her ruby red eyes, reminded of something n gave her red jawbreaker tht was the same colour as her eyes*
Luke: ^^ Awww, he likes you, Illust
Illust: *takes the candy* Thank u
Sam: *stroke lightly at Illust's cheek, facing Luke, as if telling him tht she's pretty*
Luke: He says you're pretty. *looks to his old friend from since he was little* Whatcha gonna do this year?
Sam: *shrug, meaning "same old, same old"*
Luke: How about you join us?
Sam: *nods*
Illust: *was a little hesitant*
Luke: Cmon, Illust. ^^ Don't be scared
Luke: Aren't you gonna ask how long I've known him?
Illust: I was going to
Luke: I've known him since I was 12
Illust: Wow, tht long?
Sam: *nods*
Luke: There were these two guys ruining jack-o-lanterns and stealing candy. I tried to stop them but they beat me up. Sam saved me
Illust: How? U killed them?
Sam: *shrugs in a "More or less" way*
Luke: It's his way of punishing those who disrupt the ways of Halloween
Illust: I...dont think u need to kill someone to want them to learn abt Halloween
Luke: It's his duty. He's the guardian of the season. Most of the time, he'll just scare the bejeezus outta them. But those who go too far are the ones who pay the price. ISn't that right, Sam? *looked down at his old friend*
Sam: *nods*
Illust: I still think its just cruel. Does tht evn little kids who dont learn properly abt Halloween, or ppl who didnt do it on purpose, u must kill too?
Sam: *stared at Illust for a while before letting a squeal n hugged her tight, nuzzling her, giving him a "She's so cute n innocent~!" look*
Luke: No, he'll only scare the kids and adults. Those who break the law all the time are the ones he takes care of. So he rarely does that anymore.
Illust: *weirded out at his hug* Umm...Why is he hugging me?
Luke: He really likes you. ^^ He is surprised by your purity and honesty
Illust: Umm...thanks?
Sam: *took her hand n walked hand in hand with her*
Luke: *he couldn't help but smile at the sight. Another hour later, they head back to Luke's house to count the candy they got*
Illust: *noticed Sam letting her hand go n nuzzled her cheek before moving on elsewhere, not joining them* Where's he going?
Luke: Sam! Are you coming back soon!?
Sam: *just waved bk at him in a "Its business" gesture n left*
Illust: *sort of figured out tht gesture n frowned* He's going off to kill ppl again, isnt he?
Luke: I didn't see any this year. Besides, he hasn't done it in 10 years
Illust: Then where's he off to?
Luke: Probably where he belongs. Cmon, let's go count
Illust: *takes one last look at him before following behind Luke to count the candy*
Luke: Did you get anything good this year?
Illust: I got some dark chocolate, milk chocolate, lollipops, rock candy, some M&Ms, bags of peanuts... *blushed a little* N Sam's jawbreaker
Luke: Sam left me one of his lollipops. And I got a lot of good stuff. Same as you!
Illust: *decides to eat Sam's jawbreaker first*
Luke: *licks the lollipop left behind*
Illust: *sucked at the jawbreaker, thinking abt Sam n couldnt help blushing a little*
