Severus: *just made him the latest batch of wolfsbane and walked to Remus' office, cringing at the thought of seeing him*Remus: *reading in his rooms*
Severus: *approaches the door, takes a deep breath and knocks*
Remus: Just a minute! *walks to the door and lets him in* *smiles* Severus, hello.
Severus: *nods in reply and enters* Here's your wolfsbane
Remus: *moves aside to let him in* *downs the potion* Would you like some tea?
Severus: *glances sideways at him* Not really. And you shouldn't drink tea just after drinking the potion. It'll reduce the effects
Remus: *chuckles* I know. You've warned me enough times. I was asking if -you- wanted tea. Would you like anything else?
Severus: No, I don't think. I don't intend to linger around here, especially not with you *turns to leave*
Remus: I didn't say you could leave. Sit down, Severus.
Severus: *glares at him* Who are you to tell me what to do?
Remus: *frowns* Sit down.
Severus: I'd rather stand, thank you very much *crosses his arms*
Remus: *chuckles* Very well. What will you have to drink?
Severus: I told you. I do not wish to have anything
Remus: *walks to his cupboard* Scotch? Brandy?
Severus: *cursed inwardly. He knew he had a weakness for brandy*
Remus: Brandy then?
Severus: *tries hard to keep a straight face but inside he was blabbering curses at Remus* I suppose.
Remus: *nods* Have a seat. *summons two tumbles and pours them both a drink*
Severus: *sat down opposite Remus and waited until his drink was poured before taking it tentatively*
Remus: *sips his own* Nothing wrong with it.
Severus: *hesitates before he sipped his drink* ~Gods, it's been a while since I had a good brandy~
Remus: *chuckles* Good?
Severus: It's...adequate *feigning nonchalance*
Remus: Glad to hear that.
Severus: What's with the gesture anyway? *looks at him suspiciously*
Remus: I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me somewhere this summer, actually.
Severus: *raise a brow* Me? Accompany you? Don't you have anyone else, like Black for example?
Remus: I'm not asking him.
Severus: Why not? Of all people, why me?
Remus: Because I asked you. Because I want you to go.
Severus: *skeptical and suspicious* Alright, what's the catch?
Remus: No catch. I just happen to knoe a place that it safe. Free from both of your masters.
Severus: *eyes at Remus to find out if there was anything fishy going on*
Remus: *smiles*
Severus: *sighs* Fine. I'll go. I...do need a break from them for a while anyway
Remus: *smiles* I'll have the details for you at a later date.
Severus: Very well *finishes his brandy* I shall take my leave *gets up frm his seat*
Remus: See you. *smile*
Severus: *gives him a last suspicious look before leaving*
*next day*
Remus: *sitting in the Great Hall*
Severus: *entered, seeing Remus, nodded curtly before sitting at his seat*
Remus: *smiles* Morning, Severus.
Severus: *hummed a reply as he drank his morning tea*
Remus: I was wondering if we could talk more about this summer later on.
Severus: I thought I've already agreed on it. What's to discuss?
Remus: I believe we both have our first period free.
Severus: And I care because...?
Remus: Because it would give us a chance to talk.
Severus: Whatever you want to blab about is just beyond me
Remus: *smiles, sipping his hot cocoa* So then 10 minutes after breakfast?
Severus: Oh alright *eats his bacon and eggs quietly*
Remus: *smile* Excellent.
Severus: So what is it you wish to speak to me of, Lupin, and make it quick. I still have papers to grade
Remus: Just where we're going this summer.
Severus: Yes. You have yet to enlighten me on where is this far off place you're whisking me off to
Remus: I was thinking we could visit my pack in Wales. Its well warded and free from both camps in this war. Plus one of the members has his Mastery in Herbology, or rather had it before he was bitten. You and he would get along well. He's not as enthusiastic as our Pomona though. *chuckle*
Severus: *starting to have second thoughts after hearing that* I...I didn't know you had a pack. I thought werewolves live isolated from each other, and it is very rare to come across a fellow werewolf these days.
Remus: *small smile* There's quite a lot you don't know about werewolves. Some try to isolate themselves, other seek the comfort of those who are the same.
Severus: And you are the clingy type, I see
Remus: Am I? What makes you say that?
Severus: I don't know. Since you have a pack instead of being part of the ones that isolate yourself, I'm guessing you the seek comfort type, thus clingy
Remus: *chuckles* Perhaps its something like that. So will you still come? You won't need to make the potion for anyone else while we're there.
Severus: You're not going to present me as a meal to them, right? *shudders at the thought of him seeing Remus in wolf form for the first time back then*
Remus: *frowns* What do you think?
Severus: Just being wary, is all. You can't blame me for that. Very well. I'll go. I'm not one to break promises
Remus: *nods* Wonderful. We'll leave the day after the students do. We'll have to portkey in, and then it will be a five mile walk.
Severus: *nods, but inwardly dreads the walk. He was more of a person who would rather sit back and relax on the couch drinking soothing tea after a long day's work*
Remus: It won't be so bad. I think you'll actually quite enjoy your time there.
Severus: Alright. I will try *still filled with doubt, looks at the time* First period is almost over. I better get going. Those papers won't grade themselves
Remus: *nods* Of course. See you at lunch.
Severus: *nods and walks away, still wondering why of all people was he chosen for this trip*
