I Almost Said I Love You-Chapter 103

Ozzy sighed as he drove along, his eyes widening when he got closer to the hall, seeming how busy it actually was.

*the hall was totally packed with ppl young n old, bringing gifts to congratulate the Rabies couple on their anniversary, n it was reli hustling n bustling with life*

Ozzy blinked before his eyes widened in realisation. He hadn't brought them a gift! He bite his lip. This was going to be rather embarrassing. "Oh Frank... what am I going to do..." he mumbled, already panicking.

Jaz: *was tending to her kids wen she saw Oz frm afar n waved at him* Hey! Kia! Wht a pleasant surprise!

Ozzy looked up, biting his lip. Great, no time to leave now. "Hey, yeah, aha... I heard about this so I thought I'd come congratulate you, ya know?" he said as he caught up with her, rubbing the back of his neck. "So... are these the little tykes?"

Jaz: Of course. Nikkita, Nikoll, Nikkell. Say hi to Mr Featherworth

Triplets: *says simultaneously* Hi, Mista Fehthawoff~!

Ozzy blinked in surprise. These were just as bad as the virus twins. "Heh, hey kids. Well, aren't you three big?" he said, grinning lightly as he ruffled their hair. "Now lets see if I can guess who is who..." he said, pretending to think before pointing to each one and saying the correct name. "Am I right?"

Triplets: *gave him a toothy grin n giggled simultaneously*

Jaz: U've got sharp eyes, Kia. Sometimes I cant evn tell them apart bcoz Nikkita, evn tho she's a girl, loves to copy her brotherss' style, n these cheeky lil spawns like to confuse us

Ozzy chuckled and grinned, shaking his head, "Ah, it's nothing... I guess I've just... learn to spot the tiniest of differences." he said, putting his hand in his pocket and pulling out three lollipops. Yeah, he had brought some candy with him for him, but he wouldn't mind giving it to them. "Heh, here." he said, holding out the three lollipops. "They are rather cute, I bet they just love misbehaving." he said, grinning.

Triplets: *squealed at the lollipops n almost snatched them*

Jaz: Kids, wht do u say to Mr. Featherworth?

Triplets: Tank oo~! *ran off with the candy, comparing colours n flavours*

Jaz: They're a handful, bt they're my little angels. I see u've heard abt this anniversary party of ours

Ozzy chuckled and shook his head at the kids before looking to the vaccine. "Hm? Oh yeah, everyone's been talking about it. Thought I'd come and give you some of my relaxing atmosphere, probably stressful, huh? Having to organise all this." he said, setting a kind hand on her shoulder.

Jaz: *laughed a little* Yeah, kinda, bt I'm used to stress, wht with my upbringing. Would u like to meet my husband Hank?

"That's what I'm here for, to make sure you have fun on your aniversary!" Ozzy said, grinning before blinking, nodding. "Yeah, definately!"

Jaz: *gestures him to follow her to a small group* Hank, meet my new friend I was talking abt tht I met at the country club

*the Rabies virus was tall, almost as tall as Klepta, n had pale orange skin with silver, almost white, hair, n had the same eye colour like Klepta's, a trait all Rabies virus hv*

Hank excused himself from the group and moved over to his wife, kissing her head before looking to the cell. "Well I'll be darned, would you look at that. My lil darlin' here has been talking about you alot, glad I could finally meet'cha. I tell ya, your one in a million kid, takes alot to impress this one, yes sir it does." the virus spoke, accent thick with an obvioud southen accent as he spoke quickly, leaving Ozzy dumbfounded. "Uh... yeah."

Jaz: *laughed a little* Dont overwhelm the poor cell, darling. Hank here is born n bred frm this city, n this dog city is straight frm the Southern area, thus the accent.

Hank chuckled. "I'm sorry, hunny, I tend ta forget that folks don't really understand the first time round." he said as Ozzy grinned sheepishly. "Well, it was nice to meet you, Hank, doing a great job running the place!"

Jaz: Oh u flatter him. Married 7 yrs to him n he still needs me to help him with his tie

"Those things are tricky, darling!" Hank almost whined as Ozzy giggled a little, shaking his head at them. "You to really are a married couple. I do wish you all the best and many more years to come."

Jaz: Thank u so much, Kia. Help urself to anything u like. There's more where tht came frm

Ozzy nodded and blinked, grinning sheepishly when his stomach started growling. "Ah... sorry..." he mumbled, rubbing his stomach. "I haven't eaten yet..."

Jaz: *chuckles* Well go ahead. Have anything u want. I'll be right with ya in a bit

Ozzy nodded, happy to oblige with that as he wandered off to the food tables, licking his lips before he grabbed a plate and began to fill.

*the triplets sneaked up behind him, mimicking him for fun, n giggled*

Ozzy blinked a few times, glancing back at the giggling. "Heh, hello you three." he said, moving to sit down so he could eat.

Triplets: *followed Oz to his seat, then went behind his chair n play peek-a-boo with him, peering out then dashed out of sight, repeating as they giggled hysterically*

Ozzy laughed and shook his head at them before starting to eat, muching happily as he filled his stomach. "Right you three." he said when he had finished. "What about a game of hide and seek, huh?" he said, getting up and grinning.

Triplets: *squealed in delight as they pulled at Oz's coat, bringing him to the plc where they usually go play hide n seek*

Ozzy laughed and followed after them, looking around. "So here?" he asked, looking down at the kids clinging to him.

Triplets: *nodded happily* Count to 100! No peeking~! *ushered him to a nearby tree to count while they ran off to look for a hiding plc*

Ozzy blinked and sighed, nodding slowly and closing his eyes. "1! ... 2! ... 3!" he began to call out.

*the plc they were playing hide & seek was one of those garden mazes tht had a river in the centre of the end of the maze, n once the cell started counting, the triplets split up, going off to hiding, giggling happily*

Ozzy groaned when he saw the game area, this was going to be hard... Sighing, he began to count, peeking through his fingers to see which way each one went.

*the triplets found their own plcs to hide, trying to keep quiet*

Ozzy soon finished counting, grinning as he called out that he was coming before he ran off into the maze, looking around.

*it was clear tht the maze was going to take him forever to find them, n something told Oz tht his psychometric powers could be put to good use*

Ozzy blinked and grinned suddenly, he could have a little training himself! Looking around, he frown a little before touching the wall of the maze. "Come on... control it..."

*lucky for the cell, kids tend to touch things as they go ard. As the cell touched the walls, soft images of the triplets' POV came out, giggling as they discussed where they want to hide*

Ozzy grinned, happy that he managed to get something before he ran off to find the little cheeky tikes.

*as the cell touches everywhere to find them, one of the images showed Nikkel hiding somewhere behind the rose thorn bushes*

Ozzy sudden jumped over the bush and grabbed the little tike, tickling his sides. "Got'chya!" he cheered, grinning at him.

Nikkel: Nya~!! *laughed out loud as he was being found, trying to push him away frm being tickled*

Ozzy laughed and eventually stopped, ruffling his head as he got up. "Come on, you can help me find the other two."

Nikkel: Yay~! *took Oz's hand n went to help him find his other sibs*

Ozzy laughed and smiled, holding his hand gently as he walked off with the little guy, looking around for the other two.

*again, the thought of using his powers kicked in, n another image frm the wall showed him tht Nikoll was hiding underneath a gap of a statue at the north side of the maze*

Ozzy shook himself out as he stopped suddenly, zoning out as the images flowed through his head before he tugged the boy's hand. "Come on, I have an idea where he would be!" he said before running off.

Nikkell: *squealed in delight as he followed Oz's lead*

Ozzy grinned and told the boy to be quite when they got near, whispering that they should both attack and get him in a tickle attack.

Nikkell: *nodded as he tried to hold bk his giggle, following the cell's lead*

Ozzy grinned, going around one side while the boy moved around the other, grinning before they both tacked Nikoll.

Nikkell: Nya~! Ticky-ticky~! *tickled his brother*

Nikoll: Nya~!! *laughed out loud as well, squirming ard frm his hiding plc*

Ozzy laughed along with them, grinning at how cute they were being as he tickled him more before finally giving mercy. "Okay, last but not least, you're sister!" he said, getting to his feet.

Nikkell&Nikoll: Yay~! Nikkita~!

Ozzy laughed before running off with them, looking around, for the little girl.

*the trio searched n searched, n with Oz's powers, it was shown she hid at the river in the centre of the maze, bt she was nowhere in sight*

When Ozzy got there, he looked around, a frown on his face. He was sure she was here, the visions showed him she had hid here. He bit his lip, looking to the young boys. "Do.. you know where your sister might of gone?"

Nikkell&Nikoll: *shook their head n shrugged simultaneous*

Ozzy frowned a little and bit his lip. "I think we should tell you mother..." he mumbled after he walked around a little, looking in bushes and such for her.

Nikkell&Nikoll: *huddled against the cell, whimpering, afraid tht they were going to get in trouble*

Jaz: *sees them* Oh hey, Kia. I was looking for u. I hope the kids havent given u any trouble*

"Don't worry, kids..." Ozzy said, petting them before looking up as he heard Jaz, chewing on his lip. "Hey, no... not at all, though..." he mumbled, chewing his lip some. "Nikkita is missing... we were playing Hide and Seek and... we can't find her..."

Jaz: Wht? *noticed where they were coming frm* Nikoll, Nikkell! How many times hv I told u not to go into tht maze?

*the kids whined n hid behind the cell*

Ozzy bit his lip, resting his hands on their heads. "Hey, please don't blame them, yo... I... it was my idea to play hide and seek, I'm sorry, love..."

Jaz: U should knw better than to cover for them. Bt nvm, now is not the time. We hv to go look for her. *turns to her husband* Hank, c'mere, we've got a problem

Hank blinked and glanced over as he heard his name, frowning a little before he made his way over. "What is it, love?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Jaz: *told him wht just happened*

*the kids were starting to get worried, tears pooling in their eyes wen it's their father involved*

Ozzy crouched down wrapping his arms around the kids. "Hey now... don't cry, okay? I'll find your sister... I promise!" he said, giving that confident grin of his as he hugged them tightly before getting to his feet, moving over to the couple discussing what to do. "Ah... excuse me... I can help find her... I... I have really good instincts."

Jaz: *turned to him* U could? How so?

Ozzy bit his lip, unsure if he could tell. "I have a gift... and I'm sure I'd be able to find her..."

Hank frowned as he looked to Ozzy, looking him over, worried about his special little girl. "... Hm... maybe we could let him try? I'll phone up some people to help though... just in case..."

Jaz: Yes, better tht way. *sees the kids starting to cry n knelt dwn in front of them* C'mere, babies. S'ok, Momma's not angry anymore

*the kids hesitated a while, bt with the cell's encouragement, they went to her n sobs in her arms, in which the Rabies shot comforted them*

"Please, let me help... This is my fault..." Ozzy said, giving pleading eyes before he bit his lip, looking around before moving close to the maze, touching around to see if he could sense where she had gone.

*the view showed Nikkita running towards the river, then decided this wasnt a good plc to hide n went out of teh maze in search of some plc else to hide*

Ozzy blinked in surprise, stumbling as he came out of his vision before his eyes widened and he suddenly ran off, leaving a confused Hank on the phone.

Jaz: *sees him running n followed aftr him, handing the kids to their virus father*

Ozzy followed his vision that played in his mind, frowning, wondering why she had gone so far away.

Hank stayed back to watch his boys, sipping his phone into his pocket.

Jaz: *followed behind him, rather curious as to wht the cell was doing in his search*

*the images soon changed into Nikkita getting distracted by a stray n it led her into going towards the old part of the brain, where there was a demolition was abt to take plc*

"Oh Frank..." Ozzy whispered when he got a new, clearer vision. He ran off faster towards the brain area, the infection in him giving him more stamina to get there. He looked around, searching for the little girl. "Nikkita! Nikkita, where are you?!"

Jaz: Wht?! She's here?! I gotta get them to stop the demolition *approached the foreman* Hey! Foreman! Stop the demolition! My daughter is in there!

The cell had his hands on the detenator when she was shouting. "Huh?" he called out, not hearing her as he accidently leaned on the plunger, the bomb inside it going off largely.

Jaz: *screamed in horror as the building detonated, the building starting to crumble* NIKKITA~!!! *fell to her knees n started sobbing n screaming in tears*

There was silence as the building crumbled and the dust settled, the cell's eyes widen as he rushed over to Jaz. "Oh, I am so sorry! I didn't hear you!" he said, a worried look on his face.

Jaz: *her eyes went to deathly mode as she cocked her plasma guns* U killed my little girl!! I'm gonna smoke u for this!! All of u!! *activated her guns on her shoulders n aimed at the workers*

The workers' eyes widened as they all stepped back away from her. There was a moment of silence before coughing came from the rubble and Ozzy stumbled out, his nice suit covered in dust and a couple of scratches on him and a bleeding one on his cheek as he held the little, sleeping girl to his chest who was perfecting fine, not a scratch on her.

Jaz: *turns to see Oz coming out with her little girl n quickly put her plasma guns bk, running towards her* Nikkita! Nikkita~!! Oh, thank Max! Nikkita, u OK?

Nikkita: *stirred n looked up* Mmmh...Momma? Is it time to go home...?

Jaz: *showered her with kisses of relief, happy tears pouring out of her eyes*

Ozzy coughed a little, getting the dust out of his throat as the workers seemed to relax a bit as the young cell handed the little girl to her mother. "Nnn... sorry to worry you, just had a little trouble getting out..." he joked, grinning a little.

Jaz: *pounced onto Oz n hugged him tight* Thank u, thank u, thank u so much~!! I'm indebt with u for life~!! Thank u so so so much~!! I'll do anything to repay u. Anything!

Ozzy gasped out, his cheeks flushing as he smiled and patted her back. "Ah... well there is one thing you could do for me... maybe... get this dog out of the prison?"

Jaz: *looked at him* Huh? Get the dog out of prison? Why?

"They are doing a decontamination to get rid of anything and everything..." Ozzy said, biting his lip. "If we don't get out..." he trailed off, glancing to the half rabies child.

Jaz: *looked at him solemnly* I knw how decontamination works. It would not affect the inside city, only the outside. Ur not frm here at all, arent u?

Ozzy bit his lip, looking at her face and sighing softly. He couldn't lie to her. "I am so sorry... but I'm not... but anything I said, our friendship, that wasn't a lie, I swear! And... I'm really upset that I have to leave another great friend behind..." he mumbled, reaching out to touch her shoulder.

Jaz: *stared at him for a while, then sighed n smiled* Well, I DID hv a lot of fun with u, n u've saved my little girl, so I trust ur character. N I DID say "anything". I'll do it, bt for u. *leans forward to kiss him on the cheek in a friendly manner*

Ozzy smiled gratefully at her, flushing slightly at the peck to his cheek before suddenly hugging her tight. "I... I really am going to miss you..." he mumbled, sighing softly.

Jaz: Same here. C'mon, lets bring Nikkita to my husband before he brings the city dwn looking for her

Nikkita: Am I in trouble, Momma?

Jaz: No, baby girl. Everything's fine. Go bk to sleep

Ozzy stroked her hair and smiles. "I had fun with these little tykes..." he said, chuckling as he headed back to the party with her.

*the party bk at the hall was a bit in a disarray, with the bk up called in to search for Nikkita*

Jaz: 8came in with Nikkita in her arms* Hank! She's OK! She's right here, thanks to Kia!

Hank turned from talking with the search party and gasped, rushing over to grab his special little girl. "Nikki!" he gasped, pulling her into his arms tightly as Ozzy stood back.

Jaz: *passed the little girl to her husband* Its all thanks to Kia. We owe him a lot

Hank looked up, frowning a little before nodding slowly. "That you so much, we're in debted to you..."

Jaz: Well, we can pay it now. He wants out. To get the dog city out of quarantine *returned to hold her other children*

Hank blinked and frown. "And why would he want that, luvvie...?"

Jaz: *whispered to him why so as not to alert the other guests tht Oz is an outsider*

Hank frowned before sighing and noddimg slowly. "I see... well... he save mah lil girly, so..."

Jaz: Just do this for him. We do owe him a favour *turns to Oz* Well, I assume u didnt come here alone. Where's the rest of ur posse?

Hank looked to his mate and sighed, seeming to give in as he nodded slowly before looking to Ozzy who flushed slightly, rubbing the back of his head and nodding slowly.

Jaz: Well, maybe u'd like to bring ur posse ovr for us to at least get acquainted. Bt wait till the party's ovr

Ozzy blinked and rubbed the back of his head, nodding slowly. "I guess I could try... um..." he mumbled, chewing shyly on his lip. "There... is quite a few of us..."

Jaz: Alright. We'll wait until the party is ovr, then we'll talk
