I Almost Said I Love You-Chapter 102

When morning came, Edison was the first to wake, yawning and stumbling to the bathroom to get a shower before any of his messy brothers.

Nessie: *woke up as well along with Chico, having done their business outside thru the opened door, then at upon smelling Edison in the shower, he whined n pawed at the door, Chico copying him*

Edison blinked, looking confused as he stepped out of the shower and held a towel over his lower area, planning on getting back in after he checked the door. "Hello?" he mumbled when he opened the door, blinking when he saw the pets.

Nessie: *yapped n entered the bathroom, circling round n round his ankles*

Chico: *purred, rubbing against his feet*

Edison gasped and groaned. "You two... go away... I'm trying to wash!" he huffed, trying to shoo them out of the bathroom.

Nessie: *yapped at the word "wash" n jumped into the bath, wanting to be wash, since its been a while*

Chico: *hesitated, bt since she loved Nessie to bits, she copied him as well, tho the water still made her shiver*

Edison blinked in surprise before groaning, shaking his head before he shut the door, dropped the towel and climbed back in. "Fine..." he grumbled, looking to the kitten with a raised eyebrow before he picked her up and set her away from the spray. "You don't need to wash." he told her, smiling a little before petting her.

Chico: *mewled as she was being carried away. As much as she was glad she was away frm the water, she didnt want to be far frm Nessie*

Nessie: *yapped n circled Edison's feet again, flopping a few times bt always getting up n circling again*

"Heh, Kitty likes the pup, huh?" Edison mumbled and shook his head. "Don't worry, you can see him from there." he said as he set her down before going back under the spray to wash himself.

Chico: *stay at her spot, tho she was shivering frm the wetness*

Nessie: *on the other hand was enjoying the water, feeling it pitter-patter on him*

Edison soon finished and climbed out, wrapping a towel around himself before wrapping one around Chico. "Such a silly kitten..." he mumbled, helping her dry off.

Nessie: *shook himself to get dry, bt wanting to be dried as well as he whined*

Chico: *purred at Edison's soft touch of being dried*

Edison chuckled and rolled his eyes, getting down on his knees and started to dry both of them. "You two act like kids..." he mumbled, shaking his head.

Nessie: *yapped as he was being dried, licking Edison's face as if to say thank you*

Edison sputteded and gagged, turning his head away. "Gross, your breath stinks!" he groaned before he got up and dried himself before getting dressed and leaving the bathroom.

Nessie: *yapped n followed behind him*

Chico: *going zig-zag btwn Edison's feet, rubbing against his ankles, purring*

Edison sighed and shook his head. "Strange animals..." he mumbled before starting to cook breakfast for everyone.

Klepta: *stirred awake frm the smell of breakfast n got up* Mm, something smells good

Edison frowned a little when he soon finished the food and set it out. "Damn it... burned it again..." he grumbled to himself, glaring at the food. He never was the master chef, but... it'd do. It wasn't SO bad.

Klepta: *sat at the table n saw the food* Well, its not so bad. Its still edible *picked out the ones tht r not burnt n ate the rest*

Rodeo: *woke up for Amber's feeding n saw the breakfast* Nani~? Did we managed to avoid calling the fire dept for once, ne~?

Edison huffed at him and rolled his eyes, moving to wash the pans. "Haha, very funny..." he grumbled, looking away from them as a still sleeping Ozzy stumbled out the bedroom, seeming to be following the smell of food.

Klepta: Oi vey. Sleep walker. *came up to Oz n gently shook him awake* Yo, doll. Wakey wakey. U wanna hv breakfast u might as well stay awake

Ozzy whimpered and yawned, slumping against Klepta in reply, nuzzling him gently. He didn't get much sleep last night with all his worrying.

Klepta: *rolled his eyes n carried him bk to the bed* Just go to sleep, doll. U'll need the energy for later *tucked him in*

Ozzy whimpered and squirmed around, mumbling something incoherent that made no sense at all.

Edison soon sat down to eat, grumbling. He really had to stop cooking.

Klepta: 8chuckled n leaned dwn to kiss his forehead n tucked him in before returning to his breakfast*

Rodeo: Careful u dont get food poisoning, oni-sama *chuckled as he finished feeding Amber*

Edison blinked in surprise before he grumbled and glared, turning away from him as he continued to eat.

Klepta: Alright, stop teasing ur little brother now. Ur cooking wasnt much to go on either anyways. At least his is still edible

Rodeo: *giggled as he tucked Amber bk to the crib*

Edison huffed, his cheeks pinking up a little as Klepta defended him but shook it off, eating up his share before taking his plate to be washed.

Klepta: So, how're u holding up, Eddie? Hv u more or less gotten used to life with us? I do hope u've made ur peace with Thrax

Edison blinked and looked up, frowning a little at him and rolling his eyes. "I wish you had just let me go... you are all annoying..." he grumbled, turning his back to him as he washed up.

Klepta: Why? Dont u like us? We're finally a family again n all u can think of was getting away frm us. Wht's ur problem?

Edison grumbled and sighed. "She's bloody found me again because of you guys!" he suddenly snapped, an almost fearful look in his eyes.

Klepta: *widened his eyes* Wht are u talking abt? If she were here, we would've known

"She's on our trail! I know it... it's only a matter of time before she catches up to use again!" Edison called out.

Klepta: Eddie, u knw better than tht. If she were here we would knw. We're here to protect u, Eddie. Protect all of us. We're a family. I will not let anything happen to my family *wrapped his arms ard Edison to calm him dwn*

Edison covered his face with his hands, shuddering a little as he chewed on his lip. He didn't want to fear here, but he knew she could kill him so easily.

Klepta: Shh, shh, shh...Its OK, Eddie. Let it out. Let it all out. I'm here for u, my little brother *soothed him by rubbing his bk*

Edison's eyes widened at his words before he buried his head into his chest, clinging onto him tightly like he used to as a child, his smaller body trembling.

Klepta: Shh... *held him close n brought him to the couch, rocking to n fro, whispering comforting words to the virus, allowing him to let everything out*

Edison gave a light sniffle, still clinging to his brother as he rocked him, his face hidden in his chest.

Klepta: *continued rocking him, scratching him gently behind his ear, the part tht relaxes the virus as usual*

It took a while, but the virus was soon curled against him, relaxed and whimpering softly to himself.

Rodeo: *witnessed all this with his brother/lover* He reli had it hard, didnt he?

Klepta: *nodded* Its not easy for him. Big Mama terrifies him more than anything, n he loves our sisters more than us combined. The thought of her with our sisters n the thought of her coming aftr us is more than he can bear

Edison stayed buried against his brother, clinging to his shirt as he listened to them, thinking about Big Mama and his sisters with them. He really hope that virus hadn't hurt them. He'd kill her.

Rouge: Then we better make sure tht we succeed in getting out of dog city n out of the prisons. Last thing we need is to stay trapped like prisoners in quarantine, thanks to Thrax n his handiwork with the inmates

Klepta: Hey, we all helped out too, dont forget. We're just as much in it as he is

Edison blinked and frowned lightly, looking up from the virus' chest as he rubbed his face. "... That stupid immunity cell better get us out of here..."

Klepta: Ah, ah, ah. He's family. N he has a name. Start using it, alright? *gave him a "Listen to me n dont argue" look*

Edison looked up at him and frowned, huffing at him before looking away again. "... I don't care what he's called as long as he gets us out of here..."

Klepta: I swear ur as stubborn as our father sometimes. C'mon, lets wake him up

Rodeo: I'll do it *went up to Oz n pulled at the blanket, making the cell roll out of bed n onto the floor* Ohayogozaimasu, Oz to-chan~!!

Edison huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "One of us has to be..." he mumbled, though he didn't move off his lap.

Suddenly, a groan came from Ozzy as he landed face first on the floor. "Nnngh... I dun't wanna go to school today..."

Rodeo: *laughs* Gakuen ja nai yo (not school), Oz to-chan~! U got a party to attend! Hayaku, hayaku, get up, get up *pulls him up n ushered him to the bathroom to help him freshen up*

Thrax: *groaned* Wht is all tht racket~?

Ozzy stumbled to his feet with a whimper, rubbing his eye before he gasped out as he was pushed along to the bathroom, looking around confused. "... Bed?"

Rodeo: Yada. Its the bathroom, n its time u get freshen up *in a flash, he stripped Oz off n pushed him into the shower before turning on the showerhead, spraying slightly cold water at him to wake him up*

Ozzy was woken up with such a shock of the cold water that he squealed out and flailed around, trying to get out the water.

Thrax: *heard his squeal n made a mad dash to the bathroom, n saw Rodeo hosing Oz dwn n growled* RODEO, WHT THE FUCK R U DOING TO MY MATE?!

Rodeo: A-ra? Ah ha ha...Thrax ottoto-chan, its not wht it looks like...

Ozzy gasped and slumped over the side of the bath, panting and whimpering, shivering from the cold water. "Nnn... so... mmm... cold..." he breathed out, attempting to crawl out the tub.

Thrax: *punched Rodeo, shoving him aside as he picked Oz out of the tub* Wht the hell were u trying to do? Drown my baby?!

Rodeo: I-I-I was just trying to wake him ne~! He's got a party to go to...

Thrax: There are other ways to wake him, u moron!! *smacked him again before wrapping Oz up in a towel*

Rouge: Hey~! Be nice to ur oni-chan ne!

Thrax: He started it!

Ozzy shivered and groaned, coughing a little before he curled up against Thrax's body, trying to steal his body heat.

Thrax: Asshole. If Oz gets sick, we'll see how is he gonna help us get out this plc! *covered him tighter, trying to keep him warm*

"S-S'like ice..." Ozzy shivered, curling up tighter as he pulled the towel more around his body.

Klepta: Goodness, wht stupid thing did u do this time, Rodeo. I asked u to wake him, not freeze him to death. Eddie, its time for u to shine

Edison blinked and looked up, raising an eyebrow a little. "Oh? And what do you want me to do about it?" he asked, huffing a little as Ozzy peeked out the towel.

Klepta: U forgot tht u hv the gift of heat? C'mon, u used to do it wen u were with us bk then, wen the weather is cold, u would use ur hands to create heatwaves. Honestly, Eddie, u ignore ur powers any longer, u'll forget ur a virus. C'mon now *clapped his bk n urged him towards Oz* Do ur thing

Edison stumbled towards Ozzy, blinking and grumbling as he shuffled around, seeming to not want to do it. Sighing, he gave up before he reached out, slipping his hands into the towel and concentrating. It had been a while.

Thrax: * helped Oz to sit up properly n used his own body heat as well to warm him up while rubbing the towel on the cell's body to dry him*

Edison bit his lip, soon feeling the heat starting to spread from his hands over Ozzy's torso. The cell gave a pleasant murmur, arching into the warmth.

Thrax: *smiled as he saw Oz looking comfortable in Edison's warmth, helping him some more*

Klepta: *watched n smiled at the scene. Evn if Edison didnt admit it, he could tell that the virus somehow cared for the cell*

Edison soon pulled his hands away, grumbling a little. "There, he should be okay now..." he mumbled as Ozzy yawned and gave a sleepy smile, rubbing his eye. "Thanks, Eddy..."

"My name is Edison!" the virus huffed at him, blinking when the cell stuck his tongue out.

"Yeah, and my name's Osmosis."

Klepta: *chuckles as he shook his head at their antics*

Thrax: U feeling OK now? Not cold anymore?

Edison huffed a little before he walked off to go watch some t.v.

Ozzy nodded slowly and looked up at him. "Yeah... I'm okay now... I guess I should get ready, huh?"

Thrax: Yeah, of course. I'll make u something to drink before u go. Go ahead n get changed

Ozzy nodded and got up, shuffling off to the bedroom in the towel. Once there, he stripped off his soaked clothes and dried himself off before he got his new outfit, pulling the items on his body.

Thrax: *made Oz some hot chocolate, all the while giving dirty looks at the twins for making his baby so wet n cold, in which the twins just grinned n ignored him*

Ozzy soon came out, trying to fix his hair to make sure he looked smart for the party, wanting to make a good impression.

Twins: SUGE~!! *squealed at his look*

Thrax: Dont go humping him or anything now. Come on, baby, something warm for the road *gave the cell his hot chocolate*

Ozzy blinked and looked up from the mirror, pouting. "I can't get it right..." he mumbled as he took the drink from him and sipped it gratefully.

Thrax: Here, lemme help u with tht, baby *fixed him up good n proper before dusting him off* There. All done. U look superb, baby

Ozzy blinked and nodded, smiling a little before he finished off his drink, licking his lips. "So... when does the party start?"

Thrax: *looks at the time* It's almost starting. So u better get there right now before ur late. Dont worry, baby, we got ur bk. We'll watch ovr u. Just be urself, well, more or less, n try ur best, OK, baby? *kissed his lips gently*

Ozzy sighed and nodded slowly, shaking his head before he said goodbye to everyone, deciding to have a little fun before he left and gave Nessie a kiss goodbye but not Thrax as he quickly left. Getting on the bike, he grinned and waved before driving off.

Thrax: *rolled his eyes n saw him off, hoping he would do well*

Nessie yapped happily from the kiss and ran around his daddy's legs, seeming to be showing off.
