Undercover Romance-Chp2

Severus arrived he and started to clean up a bit. He wondered if he should take down. The photos of him and Lily, but he didnt. The boy would probably not even notice.

Harry: *apparated right in front of Severus' front door, took his time looking ard the area, then noticed his mother's home a few blocks away. He remembered going there to visit his grandparents as a child, bt sadly a car accident took his parents away wen he was 5 n he no longer came to visit his grandparents anymore as he was taken in by his Aunt Petunia n she was completely cut off frm them, n didnt evn go to their funeral aftr they passed of old age* Sigh~ I should chk it out wen I hv the chance, see if Grandma n Grandpa's home is already occupied *turned bk to Severu's door n rang the doorbell*

Severus' wards had already alerted him to the boy. When he rang the door Severus walked over and opened the door. "Come in, Potter."

Harry: *nodded n entered, looking abt the home out of investigative habit* Nice cozy home u got here
"It was my parrents." Was all Severus said. "Tea?" He walked into the kitchen to put on the kettle.

Harry: Sure, why not? *followed him to the kitchen n looked ard some more; for a man who lives alone, it sure was well kept* So...U live alone?

"Yes." He said, pulling out two cups. Severus was very orginized. Nothing could be I out if its place. He had little to no control over anything else in life.

Harry: *sat quietly as he watched him work* Nice china *a brief silence later* So, I'm going to be ur plus one, right? I'm definitely going to need an undercover name. Hv u thought of any or should I come up with something?

"That would be correct." He said as the kettle whistled. "That is up to you. Cover story is also up to you. How we meet and you coming with me, that will be the task."

Harry: *nodded* Then I will go as Kiaran Featherworth. I used tht name wen I went undercover in Borneo, so I'm sure no one would be able to find out abt me. I work as an unassuming librarian in Hogwarts n I live alone with no family as well *tht part was true, since he lived alone once he graduated frm Hogwarts n moved out of the Dursleys*

"How old are you pretending to be? Or are you going to use your real age?"

Harry: How old r u? If u tell me urs, maybe I can decide. Tho I usually use younger in my line of work, coz even in real life, no one believes me wen i tell them my real age

"I can see that." He poured the water and placed the tea bags. Then he brought them over to the boy. "I am almost 40."

Harry: Wow, u don't reli look it. *thought for a bit* I think I'll go with my real age. I'm 27, btw, will be 28 by this coming fall

"I could say the same for you. I would have guess straight out of school. Then you need to know a bit about me. I am potions master. I have created many potions, but my biggest is the wolfsbane potion."

Harry: *blinked* Woah, u mean the potion tht is reli hot off the market right now for those turned werewolves n costs almost a fortune to purchase?

"Yes. Unfortunately I hate the price, but the ingredients are hard to come by." He shrugged. "I would say that we would have met at Hogwarts. I frequent the school, making potions s and doing research."

Harry: Maybe we hv, bt I guess in passing. My Potions teacher was Prof. Slughorn. A bit of an old git, bt his heart is more or less in the right plc

"I was speaking off you cover persona, Kiaran. But we might have seen either a time or two and never noticed."

Harry: Oh, sorry. Umm, yeah, we met occasionally at Hogwarts wen u come to our library to borrow books for ur research, n maybe we decided to hook up due to a common interest in a particular book subject? *chuckled* Funny how we came across each other, bt nvr noticed each other till now. I wouldnt call this meeting a coincidence.

"This is me, betraying my Lord for an even greater cause, Potter. That is all. Being my pretend lover will end before we know it."

Harry: *shrugged with a small sigh* True *sipped his tea* So we had a slow relationship thru meeting up at Hogwarts library. Anything else u want to add?

"Well I am possessive with my lovers so I would say that you need to stay close to me. And avoid Lucius Malfoy at all cost. "

Harry: Huh? Avoid him? Why? *has yet to knw abt Lucius Malfoy's infamous reputation as he only knew mostly abt Draco*

"If you would prefer not to find yourself in a compromising position. Then I would stick close to me. "

Harry: Oh... OK then. So that's our back story for now? Tomorrow evening is the engagement party right? Wat time shall I be here?

"Between 6 and 7. The party does not start until 8 but I am also early. The sooner I am there, the sooner I can leave."

Harry: Not much of a party person, are u? So can I ask...why r u coming forward with this. Do u wish to defect frm the Death Eater clan?

"Ask again when we know each other more. But I can say that I doing this to help someone that needs it."

Harry: *raised a brow, realizing tht this guy was definitely not going to be easy getting along with* Fine. I'll get out my formal wear n meet u tomorrow here at 6.30 sharp, I get off work at 6, so 30 mins is enough for me to get home n get ready *finished the tea n got up* Thanks for the tea. I will see u tomorrow

Severus nodded. "Tomorrow." He hope for Draco'sake this would work.

Harry: *left the kitchen n made his way out the front door, bt not before noticing tht there were pictures of Snape n Lily, his mother, near the entrance of the lounge n on the fireplace* Hey...Is tht...my mom?

Severus sighed and took a drink of his tea. "Yes it is. We were friends even before she knew she had magic."

Harry: Wow *dares to take one of the photo frames to look at it* She's so young bk then, n she looks so happy...n so do u

"One can be happy when all you care about was happy." Everyone assumed that Severus had loved Lily like a lover, but his love for her was deeper and more platonic. He believed them to be soulmates.

Harry: *looked for a while longer before he put it bk* U must've been reli close to her

"Until your father came into the picture."

Harry: Oh, tht bad, huh? I knw I'm just pretending to be ur lover bt...r u like me? Do u prefer men? Or do u prefer women, like my mom?

"Like I tried to tell your father. I was never IN love with Lily, but I did love her. I like men."

Harry: OK *somehow a small part of him was relieved to hear that* Well I think I better go now. Don't wanna outstay my welcome. Just one more question: My mom's house is just a few blocks away from urs. I used to visit them wen my parents were still alive. Does anyone live there anymore after my grandparents passed?

"A young muggle couple. I think they just had their third child."

Harry: Wow, third child? Heh, reminds me of my classmate Ron who has a big family. Well, too bad. I was hoping it would be still empty so I could explore it, reminiscence a little. *shrugged* Alright, I'll go for real now. See u tomorrow *nodded n left*

Severus nodded as the boy left.
