Rouge: *woke up in the middle of the night wen Amber was crying bcoz of her fever n her teething* Shh, shh, shizuka ni ne~ (pls calm dwn) Shh... *carried her dwnstairs so as not to wake the others up, then remembered the basement n decided to go there, bt stayed at the stairs leading to the door, not going near it as he tries to lull Amber to sleep, hoping tht Rodeo would hear them n talk to them*

"Woken up again?" came a familiar voice as Ozzy appeared from the nearby doorway, Nessie stood by him for protection. "Poor thing not getting any sleep..."

Rouge: Hai hai, Amber-chan's teething is making her reli cranky right now *rocked her* Shh, ne ne, daijobu ne, oto-san is here, shh... *looks at the door* I just want Rodeo to knw n remember tht he has his daughter waiting for him wen the phase is ovr

"I'm sure somewhere... he does still know..." Ozzy told him softly before he walked over, holding out a pacifier that seemed to be cold. "I put it in a freezer for a while... It should help." he said, smiling softly.

Rouge: Arigato ne *takes the pacifier* Ooh, samui ne~! (its cold) Sa, open up ne *puts the cold pacifier into Amber's mouth*

Amber: *whined a little frm the cold before sucking at it greedily, the coldness soothing her aching gums frm the teething*

Ozzy rubbed the back of his neck, grinning sheepishly as he sat down beside him. "I know a little bit about kids... I babysat a couple of times when I was younger..."

Rouge: U hv? Honto ka (reli)? Sore nitsuite oshiete kudasai (tell me abt it)

"Ah... well..." Ozzy began, grinning again before sighing. "I weren't that good... the kids run rings around me... but I did learn a couple of things... like teething, cold things are good for them, though giving them slushies weren't a good idea..." he said, laughing some. "Too much sugar... kept them up for hours..."

Rouge: *laughed* Well, u learn frm mistakes, I guess ne

*suddenly a gentle scraping at the door, n a small whining sound frm behind the door was heard*

Rouge: Ro...Rodeo-chan...? *came closer to the door*

Ozzy blinked a few times before biting his lip. "Hey... careful... you know what Thrax and Klepta said..."

Rouge: *ignored him* Rodeo-chan, is tht u? Ne, ne, daijobu, I'm right here. Amber-chan is teething, isnt it great? Amber-chan will hv her first teeth, ne? We'll be able to feed her solids soon. Sore wa subarashii kotodesu ne? (isnt it great)

Rodeo: *was whining behind the door, a bit of scraping sounds. It seems tht despite being an eating machine, he still had his motherly instincts, more so wen he's now pregnant, n hearing Amber whining had kicked it in n wanted to be let out to hold her*

Ozzy moved over to him, placing a hand on Rogue's shoulder, squeezing it gently. "Not too close... but I think... I think he understands..."

Rouge: *sighed n leaned his head against the door* Matte yo ne (pls wait, ok)? Just be patient. It'll be ovr soon. Aishiteru ne, Rodeo-chan

Rodeo: *whined for a little while before whispering bk* Ai...shi...teru... *then long silence*

Ozzy's eyes widened at the whisper. "Ah... did you hear that?" he asked, looking to Rogue. "See, he still remembers... he doesn't hate you..." he said, hugging the virus from behind to comfort him.

Rouge: *was speechless, tears were pouring dwn as he tried to hold bk his happy sobs, hugging Amber close as he cried silently*

"See... you don't have to be so worried now..." Ozzy whispered softly to him as Nessie padded over to nuzzle against them.

Rouge: *smiled as he ran his fingers along the door n got up, noticing tht Amber was finally asleep* I think I'll go bk to bed now. U should too, ne, Oz to-chan

Ozzy nodded and smiled, giving the virus a peck on the cheek. "Good night... Brother." he said, giving his cute grin before he turned and walked off, Nessie following after him.

Rouge: *blushed at the kiss, then smiled bk at tht grin before carrying Amber bk to their room n hit the hay*
