Ozzy gasped when they suddenly jumped out the van, swallowing hard on the last big of burger in his mouth before coughing.

Thrax: Hey, hey, u OK there, baby? *slapped his bk a little to help him out* Easy on the swallowing there, baby. I wouldnt want u to choke there

Ozzy leaned over, coughing and patting his chest a little as the bite when down kinda rough. "Nngh... damn, that wasn't pleasant..."

Klepta: I'm gonna bring Eddie to bed now. Be sure to let Rouge hv his meal. N later we're gonna hv to get "supplies" for Rodeo

Thrax: *nods* Understood *takes the take-out n brought it inside*

Edison groaned and snuggled deeper into Klepta as he was carried off.

Ozzy pouted when the take-out was taken from him, feeling kinda peckish himself still.

Thrax: *raised a brow at Oz's pout* Ur still hungry? I thought u had a pretty hearty breakfast bk there? Dont tell me ur pregnant too or something

Ozzy's eyes widened before he quickly shook his head. "Of course not! I'm just in a hungry mood... you know?"

Thrax: Well, I'll go see if Rouge wants to eat. If he doesn't, it'll prolly be urs *went to Rouge's room n knocked on his door*

Ozzy nodded before he stretched and looked around the hideout, sighing softly, kinda missing the luxeurious home, even if he was kidnapped there.

Thrax: *doesnt hear any reply n tried the door, which was unlocked n entered* Oi, Rouge. Where r ya? *sees him on bed* Hey, stop mooking abt there. We gotcha breakfast. Wanna eat?

Rouge: *had his bk facing Thrax, didnt reply*

Getting bored of waiting, Ozzy wandered off to where the bedrooms were, looking for Rouge's room to find Thrax.

Thrax: *shook Rouge* Oi, if ur gonna wallow in self-pity, at least wallow with a full stomach. I'm not abt to be held accountable wen Rodeo finds out u starved urself to death here. C'mon

Wolf: *whined, catching the attention of Thrax, directing him to Amber who was lying there unconscious, breathing pretty shallow*

Thrax: Wht is it, mutt? *picks up the girl n widened his eyes* Oz, get in here!

Ozzy blinked, hearing the urgent call of Thrax and rushed down the hallway to Rouge's room. "What is it Thrax?!" he asked, panicking a little himself.

Thrax: *speed walked towards him n put Amber in his arms* Put her in the tub, use cold water. Add some ice if u hv to. She's burning up! *made a rush out to Klepta to tell him the situation*

Ozzy's eyes widened before he nodded and quickly walked off to the bathroom. He held her close as he started running the cold water, pulling off her clothes before setting her in the water carefully. "Poor girl..."

Klepta: *walks into the bathroom* How's she doing? Thrax said Amber's having fever of sorts *knelt beside Oz n felt her temperature* Hmm, she's actually quite hot. I better cook something to get her temperature dwn *hears a loud commotion frm Rouge's room* Wht the...? Keep pouring cold water ovr her body n wipe her dwn, just until u think her fever is acceptable *walks out to see wht the commotion was abt*

Ozzy looked up to Klepta, nodding in understanding, looking rather worried about this as he continued to wash cold water over her body, looking up when Klepta left, biting his lip, wondering what happened.

*aftr a moment, Klepta popped his head in*

Klepta: Lemme take ovr washing Amber, u better come n calm ur lughead lover dwn

Ozzy blinked and looked up, frowning a little before he got up and nodded, heading off to find Thrax.

Thrax: *was on bed, having Rouge by the collar n punching him hard, shouting obscenities at him* U asshole!! Wht is it with u?! Do u care for only urself?! Where has all tht passion u had bk then for Amber gone to? Where's tht passion u had wen u wanted to beat Oz to a pulp wen he exposed Amber gone to?! U son of a bitch! Get the fuck up now! *accentuate his shouts with long hard blows*

Rouge: *didnt fight bk, bt was covering himself frm Thrax's blows, sobbing n crying*

Ozzy's eyes widened at the scene before he called out to Thrax, rushing over and grabbing the virus, pulling him off the crying virus.

Thrax: Let go of me! I gotta teach this guy a lesson abt child negligence!!

Rouge: *curled into a ball, crying bitterly*

"Thrax... THRAX!" Ozzy called out, spinning him around and pinning him against the wall. "Stop it, beating him up is not going to help!"

Thrax: He could've killed Amber n we wouldnt knw! He could've killed his CHILD!! N ur happy with THAT?! *Rouge's action brought bk bad memories of his lost child with his ex Tyrone, n he was losing his cool*

"NO, no I'm NOT happy with it, I'm just as angry at him as you are, but beating him to a bloody pulp is NOT going to help Amber's condition! So you need to calm the hell down!" Ozzy snapped at him, not letting him move from against the wall.

Thrax: *growled threateningly at him to make him let go, bt seeing tht the cell was adamant to pin him there on the wall, he tried to calm dwn, tho he was breathing heavily*

Rouge: Go...Gomenasai...Gomenasai... *whimpered, still curled up in a ball, afraid of anymore incoming blows*

Ozzy waited until he stopped shouting before he slowly let him go. "Now calm yourself..." he said before moving over to Rouge, frowning and sitting down beside him, setting a hand on his arm. "Rouge... Rouge, what happened?"

Rouge: I just...I...I just miss Rodeo-chan...N...N he knws better with kodomo-chan (kids)...I...I dunno wht to do...I'm nothing without him, so I thought if...if I ignore Amber-chan she would stop crying...I...I... *sobs real hard*

Thrax: Some father u are, u asswipe!! *slammed his fist on the wall*

"Thrax, stop it!" Ozzy snapped, frowning at him before he turned back to Rouge, stroking his hair out of his face. "I know this is hard for you, Rouge... but you need to be strong... you need to look after her, you can't ignore her, ever... you're her father, she needs you..."

Rouge: Bt...Bt without...without Rodeo-chan...wh...wht can I do...?? I hv no confidence. Rodeo-chan always took ovr the child-rearing. I just help out only...Asking me to take on full responsibility its just...

Thrax: *grumbled* U shouldnt evn hv a kid in the first plc. Maybe WE should take her frm u, how'd u like tht?

Ozzy frowned at Thrax again before looking to Rogue again. "If it was like this, ya should of told us... you have a family that's more than willing to help, especially Edison, you know Amber loves him." he said, pulling Rouge to sit up, wrapping his arms around him. "We'll help you out, Rouge... but you... you need to learn to be more like a father. Rodeo may of done it all before, but now you need to step up and try."

Rouge: I...I didnt want to be a bother...Amber is...my responsibility aftr all...

"Yes, but we're family... and that's what family is for, to help why you're struggling..." Ozzy said softly, pulling him closer and stroking his hair soothingly.

Thrax: *huffed as he saw how loving Oz was to Rouge n looked away*

Rouge: N...Ne...Wh...Wht's wrong with Amber-chan?

Klepta: If ur wondering, she's having a bit of a fever coz she's teething. U should've gotten her some chew toys bk in the last city *was cradling Amber who was wrapped in a dry towel, bt still whimpering frm discomfort*

Ozzy looked up as Klepta came in, smiling some, glad that Amber was okay now. "Can't we get something in this city?" he asked, frowning some.

Klepta: We might be able to get some, since we're gonna get Rodeo his "supplies". C'mon, Thrax. U can help out

Thrax: No. I'm staying here n watching this kid n not let this moron mess up *takes Amber n puts it in Rouge's arms* Oz can go with u if he wants, or bring Eddie with u. I'm not leaving this kid outta my sight

Ozzy blinked and looked to Thrax, frowning a little. "You should go with Klepta... I'll watch over Rouge and Amber, I don't mind, Nessie can help me, too." he said, giving that cheeky smile that no one could resist.

Thrax: *growled a little at tht look, bt huffed* Fine. Bt if he screws up, I am taking tht kid, whether he likes it or not

Rouge: *whimpered as he held Amber close*

Klepta: C'mon, lets go *jerked his head at Thrax*

Ozzy shook his head at Thrax before looking to Rouge and Amber, reaching out to stroke her hair. "It's okay, I'll help you..."

Thrax: *left grudgingly with Klepta*

Rouge: *cradled Amber close, in which the little spawn started wailing again, her teething making her uncomfortable n her fever peaked a little, tho her voice was getting a little hoarse frm her previous crying* Ahh, shi...shizuka ni ne (calm dwn), Amber-chan...Shh...Shh...

Ozzy blinked before he frowned a little, watching the poor little virus. Thinking to himself, he reached out to her again, gently pressing his finger into her mouth and softening his membrane so she had something to help sooth it.

Amber: *feeling something in her mouth, she started to gnaw at it ferociously, trying to sooth her teeth area*

Rouge: A...Atsui ne (so hot)...I...I didnt knw she was so sick...G...Gomenasai, Amber-chan. I'm a bad oto-san (father) ne...

Ozzy flinched a little at the knawing, but allowed her to, glad that she stopped crying. "You're not a bad father... it's not your fault, you're still new to this... but don't worry, yeah? I'm here to help!"

Rouge: A...Arigato...Oz to-chan...I'm sorry to be such a bother. THis should be my responsibility but... *looks dwn, feeling rather awkward tht he had let his own self-pity get the best of looking aftr the one thing he n his brother/lover treasured the most*

"You ain't a bother, Rouge. I don't mind helping, honest... plus, if ya don't get help, you'll never learn yourself." Ozzy said, giving him a grin before leaning close to nuzzle his cheek affectionately.

Rouge: *blushed at the nuzzle* Moh~ If I didnt hv Rodeo-chan already, I might just hv u as my koibito (lover) ne. Ur just so sweet. Sa, Thrax ottoto-chan is so lucky to hv u ne, Oz to-chan

Ozzy blinked before he flushed at the virus' words, smiling sheepishly. "Ah... I ain't that good..." he mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand.

Rouge: Iya (no), u r good, u just dont knw it. U hv no idea wht a happy man Thrax ottoto-chan is with u ard ne. *remembers* Sa, maybe u can get Amber-chan's pacifier. I think its in one of those bags we hv there

Ozzy blinked a few times, flushing and smiling some, shuffling around a little. "He's still a big ooff though..." he said, grinning a little before he slowly took his finger from Amber's mouth. "Sorry baby..." he said to her softly before he moved to search for the pacifier.

Amber: *whimpered n started crying wen his finger was gone*

Rouge: Shh, shh, shh, shizukani ne... Uncle Oz is gonna get u something better ne, shh...

Ozzy soon came back to the bed with the pacifier, smiling before he slowly pressed it against her lips. "Here you go, baby..."

Amber: *took the pacifier n started gnawing at it, calming dwn some*

Rouge: N...Ne...Wht does Klepta oni-chan n Thrax ottoto-chan feed Rodeo-chan? They said they got supplies bt...wht is it?

Ozzy stroked his hair before blinking, looking to Rouge and biting his lip, shaking his head at him. "I don't know... they wouldn't tell me."

Rouge: *sighed* I just hope whtevr it is they're feeding, they feed him well. I heard Rodeo-chan frm behind the door. His hunger is not to be reckoned with

Ozzy nodded slowly and sighed softly, feeling bad for not telling him, but he didn't need to know that.

Rouge: Ko...Kowai yo... (I'm scared) Wht if he gets evn worse...? Wht if...? *couldnt continue, his mind thinking the unthinkable*

Ozzy wrapped his arm around him again, shaking his head. "He wouldn't do that... I know his mind still there somewhere..."

Rouge: I hope so...I just...cant bear the thought tht he would forget me n turn into a flesh-eating monster or something. I'd die if tht happened *cradled Amber close, looking devastated*

"Don't worry... it'll only be for a little while longer..." Ozzy told him, nuzzling his cheek again, sighing softly.

Rouge: *sighed n cradled Amber close, tries to get her to relax frm her gnawing of the pacifier n let her sleep*

Ozzy sighed and smiled a little, nuzzling him again. "Don't worry, okay? It'll be okay..."

Rouge: *nods n hummed to let Amber go to sleep*

Amber: *whimpered bt slowly drifted off to sleep*

"You want something to eat?" Ozzy asked, stroking Rouge's hair some before he got to his feet.

Rouge: *nods* Just a little bit. I'm not reli tht hungry ne...

Ozzy nodded and smiled before he headed off to the kitchen.

*the takeout tht Thrax had for Rouge was still there, bt not as warm as it was, needed reheating*

Ozzy grabbed the bag and got the food out from it, setting it in the microwave to allow it to heat up once again.

Nessie: *came out with Chico, wondering wht was it tht their Mommy is cooking, sniffing at it*

Ozzy looked back, smiling when he saw Nessie. "This ain't for you, pup..."

Nessie: *whines*

Chico: *purred, circling ard Oz's feet, wanting some*

Ozzy laughed and smiled some, shaking his head. "Nah-uh, this ain't for you..." he said, soon getting the food out and putting it on a plate, heading back to the bedroom.

*Nessie n Chico followed behind him, whining n purring for it*

Rouge: *looks up to see Oz coming bk in wiht the food* Ah, arigatogozaimasu

Ozzy handed him the plate of food before shooing the two of them. "No, you two aren't allowed this kind of food..."

Nessie: *whined, his ears fell bk as he sulked*

Rouge: *chuckles* Sa, harahate desho? (u hungry?) *took a small piece n fed it to the dog, in which he ate happily, sharing a smaller piece with Chico*

Ozzy blinked in surprise before pouting. "Hey, those two have their own food..." he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Rouge: Sa, daijobu yo ne, its just a little bit *puts Amber dwn gently in her portable crib n took the food properly to eat*

"Yeah, but they're not allowed, it's bad for them." Ozzy said, looking to the pup and kitten. "Come on, you two... lets go get you your own food."

Nessie: *yapped happily as he ran in circles ard Oz's feet*

Chico: *mewed happily as well*

Ozzy laughed before shaking his head. "I'll be right back, Rouge." he said before he walked off with the animals.
