Illust-Chan's Adventures (Part 8)

*they both flew into Human Threshold, landing at a kindergarten playground waiting for playtime/recess to begin*

Alto: *lands on the empty playground* I dont think recess has started yet *blinks and looks around*

Illust-chan: I guess we'll just hv to wait. Should be out in a few more minutes*

Alto: *sits on the ground* I hate waiting...it's no fun *pushes a pile of sand around, making it into heart*

Illust-chan: Patience is virtue, Allie *grins once the bell rang* See? *the kids soon clambered out of the classroom for recess*

Alto: *grins and jumps up* yay! Let's go! *runs towards a group of girls about to jump rope*

*the kids squealed happily to see a supernatural being as they often look forward to recess to see beings like these*

Illust-chan: *went to play dodgeball with the boys*

Alto: *grabs the rope and starts turning it around as two girls jumped in giggling*

Illust-chan: *managed to dodge a few times n threw at some, playing at their standards to be fair, before getting hit n was out of the game, though she didnt mind*

Alto: *hands the rope to another girl and jumps in*

Illust-chan: *moved on to another group aftr being out of the dodgeball game n played monkey bars with them*

Alto: *jumped out and waved to the girls before joining Illust-chan on the monkey bars*

Illust-chan: *dangled frm her legs* Having fun with the girls?

Alto: *nods and climbs up* how are the boys>

Illust-chan: Boisterous as usual, bt fun nonetheless

Alto: *giggled and looked over at the boys* Well their only 5. They dont know better

Illust-chan: I knw *giggles as well, then gets approached by a little boy* Yes?

Boy: Can u fly?

Illust-chan: Of course, why?

Boy: Can u let me ride on either of u to fly?

Alto: *blinks and jumps down softly.* i will. *bends down* Get on

Boy: Wee~! *climbed onto Alto*

Alto: *stands up straight and lets out a whistle then slowly flies up* Hold on tight *flies around the playground, not too far up making sure she doesnt hurt the boy*

Boy: *gasped at first before squealing in delight at the flight*

Alto: *smiles and flies around the jungle gym and back towards the monkey bars* Thank you for flying with Alto express. Please get off slowly and safely. *lands down*

Boy: *giggled at the quote n hopped off Alto's back*

*soon more kids came ovr to want a flight ride, n Illust-chan volunteered to fly them as well*

Alto: *gets the children in a line and takes them up one at a time*

Illust: *does so, though her flight moves r slightly more bolder, exciting the happy children*

Alto: *drops the last kid off and falls to her butt* wow. I never knew i could get tired this fast

Illust-chan: Tht's coz u used a lot of ur music power *hears the bell ring n the kids whined "Aww~" in protest* Sorry, kiddies, bk to class

Alto: *jumps up and waves* Bye!! See you later!

Illust-chan: *waves goodbye to the kids n smiled at the kindergarten teachers who nodded in thanks for watching ovr the kids before following behind Alto*

Alto: *walks out of the school yard and sings causing herself to go to her normal height* ah~ much better *stretches*

Alto: *blinks and smiles* Thanks! You really think so??

Sandman: *held her hand tight n opened a teleportation portal in the first plc n walked thru it, to come out of the magician's office*

Magician: Yo! Sandy! Havent seen u in a while. How's it hangin'?

Sandman: All good. No big

Alto: *stands beside Sandy and looks up at Magician* It's nice to meet you Magician *bows*

Sandman: *stands in the lift and looks down at Illust-chan. Sighs and walks out once the doors open*

Alto: *runs towards the two* Illust-chan!

Magician: I see things hv been taken care of there, my friend?

Alto: *hugs Illust-chan giggling*

Sandman: *smiles at Magician* yes. Thank you for your help

Illust-chan: *waves goodbye to the Magician as the portal thru the fireplc was opened*

Alto: *giggles* im not surprised. *grins* So anything you wanna do?

Illust-chan: *flew all the way bk to Sandman's lair to chk on her friend*

Alto: *sleep in Sandys bed with him no where to be found*

Illust-chan: *blinks as the Sandman was not there, then went dwnstairs to find him* Oh Sandy~! Sandy, Sandy, Sandy~!

Alto: *opens one eyes and looks over at the noise*

Illust-chan: Sandy~! Where r u~? *looked ard the area*

Sandy: *was actually at the underground lab, making more sleeping dust for tonight's shift*

Alto: *gets out of bed and starts singing to see whose in the house*

Illust-chan: *the note reaches her, in which she blew a chilling breath to let her knw she's here*

Alto: *feels the chill and smiles running out of the room* Illust-chan!! *jumps and tackles her*

Illust-chan: Eek! *topples dwn n giggled* Hey, Allie. Where's Sandy?

Alto: *blinks* i dont know. Hes gone!!! O_O

Illust-chan: Dont panic. He's gotta be here somewhere. Sing ur tune, Allie, the one tht matches his frequency

Alto: *closes her eyes and places her hands at her chest and sings a soft melody*

Sandman: *hears the tune all the way dwn in the underground lab n hums bk to match the frequency*

Illust-chan: Ah! Sounds like ur darling is at his lab. So~? Did u two do it~? *grins naughtily*

Alto: *feels the music around her and smiles* wait...WHAT?! *shoots her head over at Illust-chan* N-no we didnt!

Illust-chan: *grins* Reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllly?

Alto: *blushes and runs down the stairs* yes really!

Illust-chan: *ran along with her as they were heading to the lab* Uh-huh? Not evn a little bit of lovie-dovie~?

Sandman: *mixing n pounding stuff, adding a little this n tht then putting them into a sifter to filter them out, creating sleeping dust*

Sandman: Oh, its u -_- *turns to Alto* Hey there, lovebug. U slept well?

Alto: *blushes and smiles at him* yes i did..thank you

Illust-chan: So, Sandy! Did a lil bedtime tango with Allie?

Alto: Because she has people who care about her and will protect her when she is hurt. So you better be careful now that you hurt her

Alto: *giggles and sits on the counter making sure she didnt hit anything and starts to sing*

Sandman: *soon finds Illust-chan sitting on a skyscraper, facing the district where the regular humans reside* Ah, looks like she's near the Human Threshold

Alto: *snaps her fingers* I thought so. We tend to go there sometimes when we're not feeling well. *jumps off the table* Well lets go!

Sandman: Right. We'll take the transporter. I knw tht skyscraper. Been there before, coz one of my friends who used to be an exiled magician works there. He's got a fireplc we can teleport thru

*meanwhile, Illust-chan had flown dwn to the wheatfields to look for Scarecrow*

Scarecrow: *stands in the tall corn field watching everything that goes by*

Illust-chan: *trots towards him n clapped him on the bk* Hi, Crow~!

Scarecrow: *turns around and glares down at the girl* Illust-chan

Scarecrow: It's been alright I guess. And victim wise, nothing really good. A few alright ones

Scarecrow: I've heard different things, but i dont know what are rumours and what's not. People walk by me almost everyday

Illust-chan: This plc is a suicide arena. Rumour has it tht the last person who owns this cornfield was desperate to hv his crops grow tht he created a cult n created a mass suicide n used their bodies as fertilizers. The result was the cornfield developing bloodlust n emitts a form of entity to lure depressed ppl to let themselves be killed n consumed by the cornfield here. Possibly the victims u killed was already entranced by the entity given out by the cornfield

Scarecrow: Well isn't that interested *grins*

Illust-chan: Yup. I guess it didnt affect u coz ur not flesh n blood to begin with

Scarecrow: sucks to be me then *laughs* Well that ruins my fun here. And you couldn't have told me this sooner?

Illust-chan: *glided thru the air, going in n out of the fog until she spotted something in the distance* Ah! I see it! Sandy's tower!

Sandman: *chuckles as he took out a handful of sand, clenching it tight, his hand glowing, making burning rock sounds in the process before opening his palm to reveal a beautiful diamond ring* Will u be my little bride?

*the trio slept thru till morning, n wen Illust-chan wake, HH was not there*

Illust-chan: *rubs the sleep off her eyes*

Alto: *yawns, smiles and whispers:* thank you Sandy...

Illust-chan: *looks for HH n grins* Oh, right. Night guy. Hey, where's Knightie?

Alto: *sits up and cracks her back* I don't know...maybe in another room?

*Table was covered with food and there was two chairs in front of plates*

Alto: *takes a deep breath and screeches*

*The spell Alto used made the Knight's inner organs pulse quickly and slow down. Then they started to stop one by one slowly*

Knight: *let out a strangled groan as each of the organs stopped one by one, falling onto his knees as his cloak slowly loosen its hold on the girls. By the time his heart stopped he was on the ground, immobile, the cloak finally releasing them*

Illust-chan: *gasped for air* Ugh! Thank the High Elves! I thought I was gonna suffocate to death!

Alto: *falls to the ground and stops singing glaring at the knight*

*The Knights organs start up again but not as well*

Knight: *his breath came bk raggedly as his organs started up again, struggling to get up, talking in a choked voice* U...think...U can kill...me...??

May u find peace frm ur plight eventually *stands n went out the door to meet up with Alto*

Knight: *growled as she left bt cowered on the floor, sobbing bitterly for his own damned life*

Alto: *is sitting on a rock outside the house, her house facing Illust-chan*

Illust-chan: All done. Let's go, Allie. I hope Sandy has something to eat. I'm still hungry frm tht interrupted breakfast

He is a damned soul with powers frm Hell n everyone craves tht power, coming to him to challenge him to the death to own it, only to be unable to wield it n let the powers consume them before he comes to recollect it bk to his possession. He just doesnt want to get close to anyone coz he has indirectly caused so much death to everyone who comes close to him

Illust-chan: Hoodie says "Hi" *despite having no head, HH can communicate telepathically with her, n this is a bond they intimately shared*

Alto: *smiles and lands on a rock and starts singing*

Illust-chan: *having idle chat with HH. It looked like a one-sided conversation frm someone's POV with her doing most of the talking, bt in truth, she replies him verbally while HH speaks to her mentally*

Alto: *stops singing and stands up and looks around* ...Illust-chan? I feel something...*looks around her*

Illust-chan: *turns her head towards her direction, while HH held her protectively by the waist, saying something to her* Hoodie said he felt it too. Wht is it?

Illust-chan: *cuddles up to HH, while HH brandishes his sword in battle mode with one arm still holding onto her, ready to take on anything*

Alto: *backs up toward HH and Illust-chan* ugh. if only i knew wher- *winds blows around them*

HH: *hid Illust-chan under his cloak as he slashed at the wind, earning a high-pitched shriek in the process, almost like a banshee's shriek*

Illust-chan: Wh...Wht's going on, Hoodie?! Wht do u see?!

Alto: *cover her ears because of her sensitive hearing* What is that?!

Illust-chan: *looks at HH* Hoodie says it's Sheka the Fallen. She comes every full moon to feed on virgins for her youth. He's gonna get us outta here *reaches out her hand to pull Alto up on the horse to ride away*

Alto: *looks between Sheka and Illust-chan and grabs the hand* Lets get out of here.

HH: *wraps both Illust-chan n Alto in his cloak n rode off as fast as he could, swiping at Sheka at the same time to keep her away*

Alto: *sings a high note and hits Sheka back* How do we get ride of her?!

Illust-chan: *bit bk at Sheka with her sharp fangs* Hoodie said we have to take sanctuary at a home of a Hellspawn Knight! She fears them the most! Do u knw anywhere there's a Hellspawn Knight staying??

Alto: *ducks as Sheka tries to reach out to her* Wasn't there one up on the dark hill back the other way?

Illust-chan: Serious? Hoodie, quick! Take us there!

HH: *nods n rode quickly to the dark hill*

Alto: Why does she fear Hellspawn Knights so much? *sings a low note blocking an attack from Sheka*

Illust-chan: We'll talk abt it when we get outta this alive! *dodged the Sheka's claw*
